This school is top tier to say the least! From the attention to detail the school staff has to make sure students are prepared for classes to the instructors methods of teaching are all setup for success. I was fortunate to have an amazing instructor in Ana for the body sculpting certification course! She truly cares for the success of her students and even offers mentors hip post certification. I have no doubt that the services I provide will be top rated.

First time coming here for a lash lift and tint, and Angela did an AMAZING job. She was able to accommodate me, my mom, and my cousin and take care of all of us at once. It was impressive to see how seamlessly she alternated between all of us and adjusted her technique and process for each of our unique lashes. Other places I've previously gone to have made my long lashes too curly or going in different directions, but Angela nailed it. They are exactly what I've always wanted in a lash lift and tint, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm looking to get them done!

Let me start by saying that I found her thru her amazing instagram page. I fell in love with her work and decided to take her course. I took her course in March 2020 and can honestly say she is a good, kindhearted, funny, inspiring, intelligent instructor who will get far in her business. I was afraid at first to take her class since this would be my second time taking a lash course and it wasn't a good educational experience. Yet she was a good instructor that I actually learned a lot that was left out from my previous class. I would say that her lash kit comes with good products and materials. Her manual is very informative and her teaching is awesome! I would recommend her products for anyone looking for lash supplies and definitely recommend her class if your looking to become a lash artist.

Everything about Dame the Lash is amazing! I took the private lessons (1:1) and let me tell you, I went in knowing absolutely nothing and left feeling confident with lashing. Angela was soooo great at making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. I have to say, I thought it would be impossible for me to learn how to lash, but Michelle is such a wonderful instructor that somehow I was able to learn. First I want to say what an amazing person Angela is!! Good heart and best instructor! And her lashes are amazing Well I had a rough start! I took a class with this other place and left there confused and not a bit confident! I reached out to Angela and even though I wasn't her student she answered my questions and helped me. I took the eyelash extensions group class . The class was given with a course book as well which helps you in case you forget anything it is right there for you . She helps you hands on as well . Very detailed and helpful with things that can possibly go wrong and how to fix it . The do's and don'ts of the business. Very friendly and positive attitude makes you feel confident about learning . Besides it being a big class you do get individual help and if you have any questions she will make sure you understand. Very glad I took her class . Definitely will be taking more classes . read more

I LOVE THIS BRAND AND EVERYONE WHO COMES WITH IT!! I became a certified lash tech and I wouldn't regret it at all. Angela is the best instructor and I was able to gain all the knowledge I needed to start my lash tech journey. Not only do you get educated correctly but is a great family to join! What I love is that I can always contact her for any questions that's she can assist me with and not everyone gives this amount of support!! Lash training 1 on 1 Before I knew about Dame de Lash I took 1 classic and 2 volume classes with other companies and still felt there was a void and I had so many questions I felt lost but then...... I met the Dame herself saw her amazing work and the work of her students and I was determined to take a class from her she custom made my class on the 1 on 1 and it's been the best investment I could have made she's amazing.. as a lash tech and educator I loved her training and strongly recommend her training to anybody looking to get in to the lash industry. read more

A huge thank you to Angela for sharing her passion and knowledge with me! I took her brow lamination and lash lift course, and it was amazing. I was very scared as I didn't know what to expect. I want to take this time and thank Michelle for her lash class. I went in so nervous not knowing what I was getting myself in to, but she explained everything and stopped to answer my questions and I had A LOT. There were certain things I wasn't too clear on, but she was patient enough to go over it again in detail. i was absolutely pleased with my eyelash services rendered by lashtress brenda. they lasted with the right care of course 3 weeks almost a month. lashes can be real work. not rubbing the eye's and keeping them clean and dry after a shower is extra work. but well worth the look!! not to mention the time saved when getting ready. loved my lashes nonetheless ‼ read more

I came here for a group class and wow, I cannot say enough good things! Angela is so sweet and makes everyone feel right at home. Jessenia was also so cool and knowledgeable. They are both such fantastic educators. I asked a million questions and they were happy to answer all of them. The training is very hands on, and Angela will literally guide your hands if you're having trouble. Nobody was left out and they will work one on one with everybody in the class. Additionally, the products received are BOMB! Great quality and clients love it. 10/10 recommend taking the class! read more

We made an appointment and still waited nearly an hour. No apology, no explanation, and absolutely zero respect for our time. But the worst part was the cleanliness. The facility was disgustingly dirty and did not appear hygienic at all. For a place where proper sanitation should be a priority, what we saw was extremely concerning. Between the horrible customer service, ridiculous wait time, and lack of cleanliness, I would never recommend this place to anyone. You've been warned. Look elsewhere.

There was no other sugarist who could wax me, the only option they gave me was to reschedule me for a different date. There's nothing ruder than wasting someone else's time! This could have easily been avoided and they could have retained a customer if they didn't drop the ball with communication.

I was always skeptical about paying for an eyelash training class because I've had bad luck before with the instructors not explaining things in a way everyone will understand, or moving too fast, even skipping through important information that helps you succeed when leaving the lecture. I MUST SAY DAME DE LASH is the BEST class I have taken ! She takes good care of her students and makes sure everyone understands exactly what shes trying to get across. She makes sure you feel comfortable to ask ANY question you desire about her lecture and she takes her time to observe and show you hands on exactly how each step is suppose to look and feel as you do it as well. OMG!! If anyone is need for lashes "Dame de Lash" is the place to go to. My experience at this lash place was excellent. Angela is such a professional lash artist, and a sweet down to earth person! The way she handled my appointment by sending me a calendar invite, a reminder about my appointment, how she sits down with you, and goes over this form that indicates complications, washing the lashes properly, and any allergies that she may need to know in advance to know how to handle her clients etc. Now this is professionalisms!!!! Not to mention her place is the cutest very organized, especially now with the whole COVID-19 she properly handles everything with care. I was recommended to get my lashes done by Michelle Angela and let me tell you...Wow!!! when i was given her address I thought I was going to a boutique but no It was her home address, when I walked in the house it was complete mess/disaster and her kids were always barging in while getting my lashes done. The bedroom she lashed me in was a complete mess although I should have ran for my life before getting lashed I really wanted to give it a shot overlooking the mess. Biggest mistake in my life. I have an eye infection and my lashes didn't last more than 3 days which i paid $95.00 for. I was also told she was licensed and no she is not and she does not work in a licensed location. I took this class in March traveled from AZ to CA just to take. I had been following Dame de Lash on instagram and fell in love with the products and beautiful creations. The class did not disappoint Angela is an AMAZING instructor! She is friendly and knows her ish! She went through all aspects of lashing thouroughly and gave us plenty of time to get our hands wets under her watch. She answered any questions and the kit comes with everything you need to get started. She even went into how to edit photos for social media, this is huge! My first time talking to her Angela was very comfortable. She speaks with you as if she's known you for a long time. I did a training class with her and the whole training was amazing. Private Lash training I did a Private one on one lash training session with Angela Michelle. She is such an amazing lash artist !! She knows what she's doing and very experienced. Don't do it! Save your money. There are a lot other better places to get your lash tech certification from. These people didn't give me my complete kit and when they said they'd contact me to give me the missing items.... THEY NEVER DID. I have the texts messages proving this! On my last day of the 3 day course (which is over priced) they offered a free individual lash set if I would write a positive review. They were doing this for everyone. Don't rely on these reviews!!!! They aren't genuine. The items given in the kit are cheap and everything there is over priced. Seriously, don't waste your money here. Angela was an incredible instructor she guided me through the whole process from the beginning to the end and plus gave me all the information I am ever gonna need for a great price! I love this class. Although I feel like I still didn't learn anything I did. I understood the basics and how to properly apply the eyelashes correctly and how to do a lash bath. I still need to learn how to do the wispy but practice makes consistent . Angela does take the time to answer all questions making sure you understand before moving forward. I brought my concerns to the owner, hoping to resolve the issue professionally. Instead, I was told that I was no longer welcome at the business because I had missed an appointment. That missed appointment occurred while my grandmother was hospitalized, and I believe the circumstances were not taken into consideration. The owner also told me that the staff had held a meeting about me, which made the situation even more upsetting. After my experience, I no longer feel comfortable supporting this business, and I wanted to share what happened so others can make their own informed decisions before choosing to go I also want to mention that a similar situation happened to my friend, who is also a person of color. Based on both of our experiences, I believe there is a pattern in how customers of color are treated. Dora was also very rude and unprofessional throughout these interactions. My father is an attorney, and he will be taking legal action regarding my experience with this business. My friends are also looking for new lash techs and will no longer support business . They just lost a lot of customers The owner reached out and is still not taking accountability. I told them that I had an issue and they never acknowledged the discrimination that I faced. Second of all I've sent many customers there and I've always been on time during the grace period . So don't make an excuse as if that's the problem. Third of all, I've only gone to Chelsea and only liked Chelsea so they could've continued to book me with her instead discredit my feelings and told me that I wasn't welcome because I brought an issue to them now they want to respond because they know that they are wrong and again we will be taking legal matters. Also, now I have proof that you just told somebody that they said that they were discriminated and not to make that as an excuse that's worse on you. I also reached out to the business several times trying to resolve it through text and they blocked me and never Responded, They're only acknowledging me because it makes their business look bad me and me and Chelsea never had issues. She would even talk to me about her kids schooling troubles, so you're making up excuses. The lash tech was very nice but the service itself did not hold up. When I first left the shop I was happy with how my lashes looked since they were perfectly in place. The next day after I waited the 24 hrs she recommended I washed my face and at first my lashes looked a bit off but I didn't pay too much attention. After a few hours I looked more closely and realized that all my lashes were pointing in different directions despite them looking great the full day prior. A few days passed and the state of my lashes could not be salvaged even when I tried a lash curler. I sent pictures to Kate and she was very understanding of my problem and asked me to come back in so she could take a look and fix them. I was shocked when at the end of the service she charged me for another lift. She did not say that up front, I thought it was just a correction on a poor prior service. Instead I paid double the amount for a very negative experience. I didn't argue and I paid since I didn't ask ahead of time and blamed myself for assuming. The same thing happened again, but this time it was worse. I had to wait a full lash cycle before my lashes could look halfway decent. Overall it was a very disappointing experience, especially since I thought the positive reviews would save me from a bad experience. I was wrong, but still hopeful that I'll find a quality lash lift in the area... for now I'll stick to a daily eyelash curler until I could work up the courage to try another spot.
