This made me feel like they actually cared about the specifics of my vehicle, not just a sheet of repairs to check off. 2. They were honest. Before I brought my vehicle in, I had called with questions about it first and a quote. As with any mechanic, they need to see the vehicle and run their diagnostic before giving an official quote but I knew a general idea of the repair so I was asking around to see what different mechanics charge for their labor rate per hour. I liked E&R enough to called them back but was given a different hourly rate from the first phone call. Without hesitation, the employee very genuinely and respectively said they would honor the first rate I was quoted. 3. When Eddie called me with the quote after the diagnostic and when I picked my vehicle up, he educated me!! He explained to me and taught me what the problem was and how that happens on different vehicles. He had already earned my trust but this just emphasized more so that he and his employees are trustworthy. Everyone I interacted here was respectful. The quality of work on the vehicle was exceptional. I could tell they were very thorough and tested the vehicle well after they made the repair to ensure it was fixed and there were no more leaks. I usually go to Costco for my oil change but since there's only one in El Paso, the wait is usually horrendous. I saw that the gym faced a autobody shop (Coronado Autobody) and I walked there and asked the mechanics if they had time for an oil change. They explained I had to go around to the front office and ask the receptionist, so I did. Wow, what I witnessed was CARE: Liz the receptionist asked and remembered every single client that walked in and what state of repair or disrepair their car was in. I felt like I was in good hands and then I spied a BEST OF YELP 2008 certificate on their wall, and my decision was validated. I went up and asked about the oil change not sure if they would take me 20 mins before closing. She was going to ask, but the nice mechanic came in and told her they would take me. Their prices were fair $40 for a standard oil change and $60 for full synthetic. They got me in and out of there in 20 mins. and it wasn't bells and whistles but seeing repeat clients and how much they trusted them made me feel sure they took care of my car as well. When I arrived, it wasn't an establishment like "Discount Tire, Martin Tire, or Firestone," but unlike those other locations, they immediately took care of my tire, and I was out of there in approx 30 minutes. They speak both English and Spanish and accept cash and credit cards. They also explained that their schedule might not reflect so, but they usually close around 8 pm. (10 am to approximately 8 pm)

When we arrived, we saw many other cars, yet Majec ran a smooth operation: relaxed, smiling workers worked at an expert, steady pace. He welcomed us warmly, expressed genuine concern for our welfare and tight schedule, and said he'd look at the car right away. He got back to us faster than expected. The problem was the compressor, and he couldn't get the part till next day. So, since I had that Albuquerque event, we figured we had to keep going sans air conditioning. Without any pressure, Majec clarified that the compressor could give out any time, stranding us on a highway in temps over 100. So, he helped us brainstorm a solution: my husband waited in El Paso for our car, I drove a rental ahead to my event, and Majec stayed on top of it all so my husband could catch up ASAP.
