The state and emissions inspection was $18 (Feb 2020) They also do all kinds of different services, they offer military discount and 10% discount with coupon.

About two hours later we didn't receive the call so we called to see if they were able to get the car up and their response was to " just come pick up the car" and refused the service. Now we have waste two hours of morning when we could have gone somewhere else we understand if they are busy but by would Bruce accept in the beginning and gave us a time he would call us back. Worse yet the problem started moving toward the center of the car and other controls stopped working. I called and made an appointment at Alameda Auto electric. The total bill ended up being $1300. No problem, this was my baby girl's first car so I said do it all. Got the car back and the new battery was dead by morning. Turns out this car had a module that will randomly turn on electrical stuff when it goes bad and it kills the battery. Took a month to get the old module rebuilt and cost $2000. But the worst part is that things that worked before now NO LONGER WORK such as the AC on/off switch. Also the back windows no longer roll down. Items that worked before bringing the car there. When I called to inquire about it, the response was "We can take a look at it". Not: 'I'm sorry that you're having issues since we've worked on your car, let me take care of that for you'. They wanted me to spend more money to get shit fixed that wasn't an issue before I brought them the car in the first place. I had already spent well over $3k getting this car "fixed" and now more stuff is broken on it, NAH, I'm not spending anymore money at this scam mechanic so that the can bleed me dry. Enough is enough. If you can, avoid this place at all costs because they will "fix" one thing and then you'll end up needing them to "fix" something else that wasn't a problem until you brought it to them. I expected I higher level of customer service after spending so much money. I was wrong. They're nothing but a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS!

I believe the CV joints also had to be fixed at one point. The car was running better after it was taken to them. It was an older car so eventually I had to have more work done to it. I had to go to different mechanics to fix it from time to time. Hondas can last a lifetime if you take good care of them. My Honda lasted about 20 years. They're pretty low maintenance cars until they get a little bit older. I believe it was around for 105,000 miles. I owned another Honda but it unfortunately got totaled after eight years. Anyway... I didn't deal with the staff directly. A relative helped me out and took the vehicle for me. They dealt with the employees. They said everything ran smoothly with the staff. My main concern was if they could fix my car. They were able to do that...for awhile at least. I would consider taking another vehicle to them. Overall a good experience here. I'm not sure about the exact price. My relative took care of that for me (which I'm grateful for btw).

Sergio saved our trip!…read more We will never forget the outstanding service he provided during one of the most stressful and uncertain moments we've ever experienced. Our car broke down on I-10 while crossing El Paso during our move from Los Angeles to San Antonio. We had our entire lives packed into that car and suddenly found ourselves stranded on the side of the freeway, not knowing what to do next. I am so grateful that the AAA tow truck brought us to this shop. Despite being extremely busy and having a full lot of vehicles waiting for service, Sergio took us in right away. Not only did he diagnose the problem quickly, but he also took the time to hand-draw a map showing where we were and where we could find lodging for the night. That small gesture meant so much to us in that moment. Thankfully, the issue turned out to be the alternator. Sergio got to work immediately, kept us informed throughout the process, and treated us with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. What impressed us most was not only his expertise, but also his commitment to his customers, his honesty, and the confidence he inspires. His workmanship is backed by a two-year warranty, and after our experience, I can honestly say the service was worth every penny. By 4:00 PM the next day, we were back on the road and able to continue our journey to San Antonio. Sergio gave us something we desperately needed during a very difficult time: peace of mind. We are deeply grateful and will never forget his help. I recommend this shop without hesitation.
