My visit at "The Auto Clinic" was mega positive! I did a zipcode search on texas.gov site and this shop's name came up as a place where to get my vehicle state inspection. The shop is located on Far North Dyer Street and based on its outside look and Address I was suspicious but as soon as I arrived I changed my mind. I was immediately and cordially greeted by Kody a Badass knowledgeable Veteran. The inside if the shop is absolutely awesome, if you are into cars and you intrigued by my review then you must visit. The state and emissions inspection was $18 (Feb 2020) They also do all kinds of different services, they offer military discount and 10% discount with coupon. read more

I grew tired of mechanics who offered services I didn't need just to up the total ticket, but they failed to offer the work my car actually needed to run right. Took my daily driver (a late model Audi) and my fun truck (an 80s truck) here all last year. Kody is friendly, responsive, and does great work. While I had used The Auto Clinic before for small things like inspections, oil changes etc., on this particular occasion, I brought my truck into Cody for a significant repair to my truck after some knuckleheads tried to play mechanic and destroyed one of the heads. Cody and his team worked diligently to get the job completed and within a reasonable budget. As a single female, that knows very little about vehicle repairs, Cody took the time to explain everything as progress (and a small setback) was being made. He was very courteous, polite and respectful as well and didn't give me the standard "little lady" machismo attitude that I usually get from other auto mechanics. Ladies (or gents), if you need your vehicle worked on and don't want to worry about getting hussled, I couldn't recommend Cody and The Auto Clinic highly enough! read more

Cody was AWESOME! This shop is legit! I took my truck to another shop a month ago and they charged me a lot and didn't even fix the problem. They told me I needed to trade it in while I could. Decided to give Auto Clinic a shot and Cody was able to figure out the problem within minutes and fixed it within a day. I thought it would be there for at least a week. Knowledgeable and affordable. Our car had an electrical problem as well as a shaky front brake problem. When we arrived at the clinic we were met outside by the owner. His friendly service was outstanding and the whole experience was amazing. We highly recommend this place. He is honest, fast knowledgeable and trustworthy. We will not go anywhere else from now on. Sandy W. 6/06/18 This was the worst experience I ever had at a mechanic's shop. My vehicle was there for 3 weeks. They said that they were checking to see if it was the PCM, or the computer , of my car. I believe that they didn't have the correct equipment to diagnose the problem with my car & I believe that it was sitting on their lot most of the time. They finally towed it to Shamaley Ford where it was finally fixed. I was told by Kory that it had been towed there 5 days earlier, when actually it had only been towed to the dealer 2 days earlier. I had to keep calling them during the 3 weeks to try to get updates on my car, because they didn't call me. My car was taken there on March 16, 2018. I would not recommend them to anyone. I was lied to and made to feel like I was bothering them. I was apologizing to them every time I called. Very poor customer service. read more

I reserve 5 star ratings for only the very very best experiences. I showed up 20 minutes before they closed, and said that I really needed my service done that day. They were able to do the service, explain to me in detail about the state of my vehicle, and had the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. Stopped here looking to do some fluid changes for the RV after many miles on the road. Kody and team took us in on a Monday morning and had us out in a few hours. Car was towed in, due to brake issues. Car wouldn't stop, due to previous owner's lack of time to work on it. My car sat in same spot for a week, the owner Korey would get annoyed and bothered, whenever we called for update. Finally the evening of the sixth day, we were once again checking on any progress, if any were made, we were once again promised, he would work on it, first thing in the morning. We had explained we had a time limit for brakes to be repaired, as we were waiting for safety inspection, for the car to be changed into our name. He stated he will sign off on the safety inspection, so we can get the title transfer done. He stated he "thinks it's the master cylinder, and it's gonna cost about $300 to $400, to replace it." What kind of business is this??!! Shady business that he's willing to sign off on state safety inspection and overcharge for a master cylinder????!!!. The morning we went to take our car to another business, he became outraged and tried to charge for "all the work I did".... He did absolutely nothing with the car. Go elsewhere. read more

It took them one month and a half to get my SUB ready because "supposedly" the parts were taking a long time to arrive. When I finally got it back that week the same problem happened. I took it back to be fixed and he said I had to pay again for everything even the check up. He had told me they had taken so long because he wanted to be fixed correctly and if anything happened to it to take it back. Well that was a lie! read more

Took my car for an oil change and they crossed the threading on my drain cap. Charged me for a new one and re-thread, it still leaked after that. Before that my alternator bracket broke, they welded it back together because they said it would take two days to get a new one. That broke. After calling and leaving three messages, I gave up and went to a dealership where they had the part. Beware. read more
