I can't speak exactly to the scheduling and pricing side of things because I worked with Randy…read moreStagg as more of a consult (another plumber brought him on on a complex issue he had not been able to figure out) than by hiring him directly. However, he was clearly extremely thoughtful in his troubleshooting approach and knowledgeable about not only plumbing but overall house construction. It's a powerful combination to have because he knows the end-to-end and understands how it all fits together, so he can advise even on things like how to lay a foundation optimally. He also walked around with me a little bit and commented on some other improvements that he would do if it were his house. These were things that he did not stand to make any money off of recommending to me but was simply advising as best practices, including some that would keep my kids safer, prevent water heater leaks, and give me a creative workaround to an issue I'm having with my shut off valve. So that guy is great and, since it's his company, I assume a solid reflection of the type of knowledge and experience he expects of and instills in the people he hires. I also see there are some reviews on here where people had issues with scheduling or other things, which obviously are important. But at the end of the day, I would rather have some scheduling issues but get a great person out than have somebody with less experience who is easier to schedule with. That's not to say that I think they have a habitual problem with this, just that I think it's important to prioritize what really counts. I think there are few people who are more knowledgeable than Stagg and would definitely recommend them, especially if you have something that's tougher to figure out.

Total cost of the job was $1000, which is high. Keep in mind, Randy is a master plumber and the dig crew did come back and put everything back the next day. The guys at Tribeca Plumbing are responsive, knowledgeable & fairly priced. Jay was at the property within 24 hrs of my call for an estimate, and actually called me while he was UNDER the house (pier & beam) to report what needed to be done along with a rough estimate of what it would cost to fix the leak. Tribeca's estimate was 1/2 the cost of a previous estimate, for TOP KNOTCH service! Of course I told him to proceed, upon which Jay crawled out from under the house and immediately went to pickup his supplies & returned ready to perform the work. The whole process took less than a day! The property owners, the buyers & I were MORE than satisfied with the work performed by Tribeca Plumbing (and Jay) and would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing work preformed in the Metroplex. I WOULD NOT USE TRIBECA PLUMBING AGAIN…read more We contacted Tribeca Plumbing for a clogged toilet/main sewer line. I explained from the beginning that we'd had this problem before and believed it was simply a blockage that needed to be cleared. Instead, their technician ran a camera into the line, the camera head got stuck and broke off, and the blockage was never cleared. The commercial drain snake was not used. We were then told there was a strong possibility the sewer line was collapsed or severely damaged and that we may need to excavate the slab and replace 40-45 feet of sewer pipe. As a business owner, this is where I have a serious problem. The very next day, I got a 75-foot sewer snake for about $97 and cleared the blockage myself. I reset the toilet, and the line drained normally. Then Tribeca sent me a bill for $925--for a problem they did not fix. I have no problem paying professionals for professional work. But $925 for an unresolved clog, followed by a recommendation for a potentially massive and expensive excavation job, is unacceptable to me. Preston Hollow homeowners and businesses, get a second opinion and get the pricing clearly explained before approving major work. I WOULD NOT USE TRIBECA PLUMBING AGAIN.
