Didn't have a bad experience, per se. However, I had a slow-draining kitchen sink with a disposer that wouldn't run. All it took was one turn of an Allen wrench and less than 60 seconds of work (if that). I was charged $99 for this, which I think is a little ridiculous. You build clientele through fairness and integrity. And I just feel that I was a little taken advantage of, given the work performed. Will be a bit hesitant to use/recommend this company going forward, unfortunately. read more

recently had Brad and Christian run all new lines to rv. that meant digging trenches for the lines,( a major job in its own) had to cut through roots, and rock hard ground. complete job done in a few hours and went above and beyond a few days later when the electrician cut through a water line completely leaving me without water. Had Brad out to fix a slab leak a year ago and he did a great job. Then last night I suddenly had the new pipe leak and water started raining down through the wall. Turns out a mouse had gotten in and chewed through the new pipe! Brad came as soon as he got my message and repaired the mouse damage quickly. I had a clogged sink that my 15 ft snake couldn't clear. After calling a few plumbers that came up on a web search, and not being able to get an estimate, let alone a firm quote, I looked for a plumber on Yelp. The way the Yelp quoting system is supposed to work is that you put in info about what you need and where you are, pick a few vendors; then they give you a price, you pick a vendor and you schedule your service. Of the four vendors I picked, Total Care Plumbing provided the most prompt response, and a very specific quote with two prices depending upon whether it was inside vs. outside clean-out. Another vendor provided a broad price range that was 20% - 50% higher than TCP, and the other two vendors basically had an auto-reply promising to call me back in the morning. TCP came out the next morning, did the work professionally, did it right, and charged the amount on the quote. No muss, no drama, no surprises. I appreciated knowing up-front what the price was going to be, and they did a great job. I highly recommend Total Care Plumbing. read more

TCP is the only plumber I will use. He's honest, efficient and very reasonable on prices. I had to have all my pipes under the house replaced. They had to tunnel under the home and I wAs a nervous wreck. Once it was complete, you couldn't even tell. The clean up was excellent. Had them out to replace my garbage disposal and install a faucet, charged more than $450 for that and I supplied the faucet. Our toilet started running the night before so I had him look at that too and he said it needed a complete rebuild and would be another $300. I got online and bought the part for less the $20 and fixed it myself in 15 minutes and I am not handy. Work was fine but will completely screw you on price! read more
