I called mark for a new water heater based on a being recommended by others on next door. He let me know he'd be there next day at 9am , and would give me a 15 min call ahead. He called me at 9:50 (an hour late) stating he was 5 min out. Everything was smooth with the installation, but when it came time for payment he asked if I could write him a check, rather than use a credit card. (installation of a new shower valve). After work was done, up to a point so tile man could do tiling, Mark said he would be out after tiling was complete to do finish of install of controller and shower head/faucet. Had a clog that I couldn't solve ... tried plunging and doing some basic maintenance with no success. Even worse, the AC condensate lines drained into the same drains so this was going to be a problem. So i'm reading all these reviews thinking, "these must be fake, no way a plumber is THAT good". I've give Mark a call expecting him to say he'll be out in a few days, instead he listens to the problem is says that while he's booked for the day he'll come out after his last job at around 5pm. Wow, first good sign right there. Get a call a few hours earlier than expected ... they're running ahead of schedule and can fit me in ... ?!?!? ... Wow, really?!? Kevin comes out and is super courteous. Really, just a super-nice human being. Takes his time looking at everything and starts clearing out the lines. I let him do his thing and in around an hour or so he's done. Everything working perfectly and put back together with no leaks. I wait for the damage as i'm ready to write a check ... Mark gave me an estimate on the phone, but of course things can change once they actually see the problem etc. Quote was exactly what Mark said and lower than I was expecting?!? I wanted to establish myself with a smaller, local place wrongly assuming their service/response may be better than the bigger companies. If you have been lucky enough to have found Mark Ondras Plumbing, your search for an HONEST, reliable, HONEST, respectable, HONEST, fair-priced and HONEST plumber is over! We found Mark Ondras from nextdoor.com and have used him 3-4 times for minor things the past year. Then last week we had something major...a plumbing leak in the slab in the kitchen (which is tiled) and it was not covered by insurance. Mark and Harry (the Leak Guru) came by and diagnosed the issue quickly. A few days later Harry, Felipe (the Leak Lord), Jake and EZ came by to repair. They put down drop cloths and taped off everything. I begged them to try and not break anymore then 3 tiles, which were the only extras I had, otherwise I would've had to replace nearly 300sf of tile not covered by insurance. In at 9am and out by 2:30pm and the leak was fixed and only broke through 2 tiles! They left my house clean. They were all so KIND and RESPECTFUL. The price I was charged was nearly 1/2 of everyone else! Do yourself a favor. Stop wasting time searching for an honest Plumber by calling someone from TV (who will rob you blind) and hire Mark Ondras Plumbing.
