After reading reviews, I knew my decision wasn't really about the price--I was planning to hire Top Tech anyway. What disappointed me was that the estimate appointment had to be canceled that day, and I was even more frustrated by the interaction with the lady on the phone. As a business owner myself, I believe in taking care of customers and honoring commitments. If I have to do the job myself, I do it--I don't cancel on clients who are depending on me. The phone conversation felt rushed, and it seemed like she was trying to get me off the phone as quickly as possible, which I found annoying. However, Zach came out later that same day for the estimate, and he completely changed my impression. He was professional, honest, hardworking, and got straight to the point. It was 92 degrees outside, and I genuinely felt for the guy working in that heat. He provided a fair estimate, scheduled the work for the next day at 1 PM, and then actually arrived two hours early. The quality of the work was outstanding--top-notch service. My brother is an electrical engineer, so I have a decent understanding of electrical work, but he lives far away. Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy.
