This is a scammer alert. This company may have good reviews & may be in service since 1978 but…read moretrust me since then they must have scammed thousands of innocent clients. It doesnt matter if the jobs were completed successfully but it matters if they are an ethical company. I got a flyer in the mail & called them for an initial consultation to check one of my AC units. Kyle was the.person i talked to make the appointment. He told me that there will be a $100 charge which i accepted because most companies will charge that & if you decide to go w/the job they may even deduct that from the final bill. I do not recall anythin else mentioned during that conversation. Then Francisco, the tech came. Initially, he did not mention anything regarding charges. He spent about over an hour, worked very slowly, checked the AC, answered some of our questions then came up with a repair proposal over $3k. When i glanced at it item by item, i noticed almost an $800 charge for R22 gas, which my AC needs about 6 to 8oz retail cost of that is max about $200, then there was a charge for a 2nd person for another $200+ and many other inflated charges that put the repair cost over $3k. Francisco worked slow motion, he did not perform any type maintenance but repairs. However, after the $3k repair proposal, just before he was leaving he said there will be another $545 charge over and above the $100 for his services. What services, in order to determine the necessary repairs they need to come look and then give the proposal. Why am i paying $545 for that service, didnt i already paid $100? This to me is the biggest scam i have ever seen in my entire life related w/any type of construction, repair & etc business dealings. I have been in construction business for over 40 years. I not only did lots of residential projects, just completed a $1.5M home project in TX but also did major store builts in Denver Int'l, Washington Dulles & Dallas TX airports over the years. So im not just an upset person but a very well informed client. I am not only going to report this scam to BBB but i also suggest anyone who may even slightly think about hiring this company to rethink because chances are you will be scammed w/these extremely overcharges. My description of the problem helped them suspect correctly what the problem was. In less than 3 hours they arrived with the replacement part and restored my service. The immediate service was amazing, but the kindness of the 2 service men was even more special. They were congenial as well as efficient. They gave me tips about efficient use of the cooler. In 2013, I purchased a townhome in need of total renovation. The inspector pointed out that the…read moresump pump needed replacement and the furnace may need to be replaced in the near future. After a year of dealing with a noisy furnace that was unable to heat my townhome adequately and an inadequate central air conditioning system I decided to get estimates on replacing the furnace and sump pump, cleaning the a/c compressor, draining the hot water tank and placing a pan underneath which was also recommended by the inspector. My employer highly recommended Quinnair so they were the first company to evaluate my jobs and give an estimate. Another company would only give an estimate on the furnace and sump pump and the third company would only give an estimate on the furnace. I decided to hire Quinnair, not only were they thorough, they included several additional services with their estimate along with a much better furnace (97.3% efficient) than the other companies who offered an 80% efficient furnace. Their Better Business Bureau and Angie's List ratings were much better than the other company's ratings. The afternoon before the furnace was scheduled to be installed, I had set my central air conditioner at 77 degrees and at that time the interior temperature was 78. I left for a few hours and when I returned the interior temperature had increased to 81. I had hoped that a thorough cleaning would solve this issue but when the representative arrived the following day, he examined it and found that the compressor was fried and it was inadequate for the size of my home. I had to make a decision quickly and if it wasn't for the representative's knowledge of current financing offers, I couldn't have afforded it. With that said, Quinnair came in under the third company I interviewed who was only going to replace the furnace with an 80% unit. The installers were professional and stayed until 8 PM on the second day in order to finish the air conditioner installation and 7 PM to finish the jobs on the third day. All the jobs were completed in a timely manner and I can sense a huge improvement. I am very pleased with this company and their dedication to their customers and the local community. I intend to hire Quinnair when I need to replace my water heater.

He took the time to explain the process and all the charges associated with fixing our AC. Erfan was able to fix it and get everything working smoothly without any hiccups. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. I was harassed and threatened by the owner repeatedly and now fear for the safety of my family. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!! Update 9/28/19: To make this situation worse this company continues to lie instead of completing the project and repairs. Here are the facts based on the owners comments below: - the pictures I provided on this post were taken less than 24 hours after I was told the job was completed and 2 hours after I received the first voicemail from the owner stating that he was demanding payment in full or he would file a lien on my property. - I requested 5 repairs to be made, they came back and fixed 2 of them and refused to fix the others. - The 2 repairs that were resolved were the dryer vent was placed inside the wall cavity, as it should have been, and they extended combustion air vents so that they would pass inspection. - JM Heating and Air refused to make the following 3 requests: 1) They refused to add a heat duct to the laundry room which was clearly requested at the time time they provided the estimate and included in the written estimate I was provided. At no time did they ever state this was not included until after the work was completed and then I was told they could add it for more money. 2) They refused to attach the exterior vents to the concrete with the appropriate anchors and clean the excessive caulking. 3) They refused to add expansive foam to properly seal around the 4 ducts that exit the house. This would have taken less than 5 minutes and less than $5 in parts. I was told they never do that but would for an additional $50-100. I have received numerous angry voicemails and texts threatening to lien my property. The first was left less than 24 hours after the job was supposedly completed and before I took the pictures on this post. Even though the owner did not physically threaten me or my family, I am still frightened for our safety do to the insanity if this situation. I now get to look over my shoulder every minute of the day and hope that this does not turn into something far worse simply because I hired this company and expected them to do the work they quoted me for and do a decent job.
