This place is good. Service is great to! Lots of sub options. Normal prices but they use the good stuff so its worth the buy. They also sell my favorite gelato ice cream in the small freezer close to the register. That is my dessert.Good amount of seating. It gets busy but not out of hand busy so definitely alot more people seem to order to go so seating doesn't seem much of an issue but definitely a good place to come before the lunch hour or early dinner. Parking isn't much of an issue either. Worst case parking isn't available inside the lot you can park on the street. read more

Daisy Deli is delicious! The sandwiches are about $10-$13 depending on what you get, but they were all yummy and huge so a great deal! Lots of chips to choose from and soups too which I want to try next time. We also tried the cheesecake and the chocolate cake and they were all very great too! Tried New Deli for the first time and really enjoyed it. We ordered the Inferno and the Cali Club. The Inferno had a nice kick to it with roast beef, turkey, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo that tied everything together. The Cali Club was a great contrast: fresh and flavorful with turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and a mayo on rye bread. Nice, soft, fluffy bread. Fresh produce. Good customer service. The lady was extremely nice. They have a vast selection of sandwiches and salad options, so there's plenty to choose from. Daisy Deli has taken over operation at Belly Belly. They are still using quality Boar's Head products, but have made Daisy Deli something of their own. For example, they make their own fresh chicken salad served on bread of your choice or on a salad. I had the chicken salad on toasted squaw bread. It comes lettuce, tomato, onions, Swiss cheese, and mayo. I opt for mustard, instead of the may. The chicken salad was very good and came with an abundance of white chicken. I liked this it offered a slight kick with the finely chopped banana peppers. The sandwich as a whole was very tasty. The chicken salad sandwich cost $11.95. The service was very friendly and welcoming. There's a good amount of seating inside and outside. They offering catering and daily hot soups. read more

We are from out of town and found Daisy Deli with a quick Yelp search for a sandwich place. Ordered the Cali Club, Firey Chipotle and Antipasto Salad (photo does not include the firey chipotle), and everything was amazing! We will definitely go back! Price point is average. "The Sandwich That Thought It Could" I was in San Diego today -- I go every couple of months -- and decided to try Daisy Deli since it was close by. It's a very simple setup: just one big square room, a few tables in the middle, and a friendly woman behind the counter. I ordered The Inferno, mostly because the roast beef, turkey, and bacon caught my eye. I asked for it on a wheat roll and toasted -- figured I'd get a warm, hearty sandwich. When it came out, it looked incredible. I mean, look at the pics -- stacked high with meats, crisp lettuce, thick tomato slices, melty cheese, and a nice crusty roll. It definitely had the look of a deli classic. But unfortunately... it kind of fell apart in execution. The wheat roll was super dry and didn't taste toasted at all. The turkey? Also dry like, no moisture left in it. The bacon had a burnt crunch that was a little too much for my taste. The roast beef was just okay, but it couldn't save it. And oddly enough, there was no mayo or mustard, which made everything even drier. I had to ask for some on the side just to make it edible. It wasn't a terrible sandwich, it filled me up, and it was a good size, but it just didn't taste good. All the ingredients were there visually, but the flavor and texture just didn't come together. Very well lit @ 8:00 pm but not garish or interrogation bright. Very clean. I was acknowledged as soon as I came in even though the person behind the counter was alone but hustling to fulfill other customers. I ordered a roast beef sandwich on squaw bread, $12.95. It was a monster. The ingredients were spread out and combined so every bite was delicious, not all stacked up in one area of the sandwich which a local deli we all know does. Tbh, I could only eat half of it. I'll be eating the rest for breakfast or lunch today. I was surprised at how thick the roll is. It's a lot of bread, but I found out entirely needed so the sandwich in all it's yumminess can hold up. I felt like I received a superior product than I have in a long time. The only thing that I missed was a crunchy dill pickle half or spear making it a perfect meal. I'll be back and bring my friends with me. read more

It's the inconsistency for me and attention to detail. The very first time I ordered a sandwich here it was made perfectly. Came a few more times after with the hope of having the same experience and that has not been the case since. I order the same sandwich every single time and there is always something missing or wrong every time. For example, the sandwich comes with bacon but it was missing or I asked for it to be hot and the cheese is not melted and the meat is cold or I asked for cucumbers but no cucumbers on my sandwich. Sadly, it's the same lady messing up on my sandwich's even single time. Now this comes from a caring place because they are good, but mistakes like this causes it to not be great when they could be. read more

Honestly I just moved to the neighborhood was excited to try a new deli since I'm a big sandwich person. I walked in it was clean and I was greeted which was great! I ordered a spicy Blt on a roll with all the works and no tomatoes. What I got was lettuce , and jalapeños ... and Colby jack cheese when it said it came with pepper jack which is what I wanted .. the bacon was so old it tasted like old oil... tasted like it sat all day and didn't get change it out and you could definitely taste it... disgusting. I'm very disappointed I wasted 15$ on this sandwich to only eat the bread of it and lettuce .
