It's a Daiso with all the $1.50 merchandise they are known for. They have pretty much the same stuff as the other branches in Southern California we have been to, just with a different layout and white paint job on the walls as opposed to the pink one they have in the Irvine branch. There was almost no one here at the time of our visit, even in the parking lot. It was so quiet inside the store too. The cashier was nice too. The transaction was conducted appropriately. Like other branches, there's a $10 minimum for credit card. And like they stamp on the receipt, no exchanges, no refunds! read more

So far this is the nicest Daiso I have visited and technically it's in Tustin. It's tucked away in the Von's shipping center a few doors down from the Goodwill OC Boutique. I always get my gift bags, gift wrap and craft items here, including scrapbooking and school supplies. They have great organization and storage type supplies like boxes, bins etc. I can always find party favors for adults and kids parties and for just about any theme. read more

They've got everything here and it's all so cute! My coworker and I are going to a vision board party for new year's eve. We needed a cork board but we didn't want to spend a lot on it. Daiso has them here for $2-$4 and they sold cute push pins too. Most items in the store are $1.50 but pay attention because sometimes the prices are more. We walked around the store and found a lot of cool stuff. I'd recommend this place if you're just moving out for the first time and need some necessities or if you're traveling and need some quick travel items. Great place! I'm surprised I didn't walk out buying the whole store. read more

Happy they moved to my city! As others have noted, this location is in the city of Tustin, not Santa Ana. Amazing deals. Great prices on some home key essentials (silicone pot holders for $1.50?!? Cutting boards and BBQ tongs for $1.50? YUP!), and cute little gift items (socks, shoelaces, barrettes) . Nice assortment of imported snacks and candies if you like that sort of thing. Blows away other "dollar stores." Buyer beware - there are NO REFUNDS here, unless the item is defective or damaged (then they will exchange). Like other dollar stores, it is easy to rack up a big bill buying all those little items you never knew you couldn't live without, LOL. Store is fresh and clean, everything new and bright. It's also located is a perfect spot, right between Vons and Sally's beauty, so it's a good first stop for my teenager's ever changing demands for specific cosmetic items. Whatever they don't have (and they usually have it), I can always get right next door (at a higher cost). read more

I love this store. It makes me happy just to walk inside. I get a little burst of joy everytime I use the items I've bought there. I have much more in mind of things I want to buy. WHAT.EVEN.IS.THIS.PLACE. Like literally all the things that I do and don't ever need in one place for super cheap. My boyfriend has been [strongly] urging me to come here for months, and didn't even know we had one by our house. So, when we needed to acquire some items for surgery recovery that we needed, my mind was nothing short of BLOWN. The items here may be cheap, but they're not of terrible quality. My toddler has a pair of play glasses I bought here for $1.50 that she hasn't even been able to demolish yet and she's had them for over a month (trust; that's impressive statistics). I'd also like to note that their cashier was super friendly; he didn't even roll his eyes when this crazy lady had to run out to her car to get bags in the middle of the checkout process. This place is sooo adorable! It's sort of like a 99 cents store but with much cuter, better quality things. The carry knick-knacks, school supplies, dishes, car supplies, beauty supplies, and all kinds of awesome, random stuff. It's fun to go in here and shop because everything is really cheap so you don't end up spending a lot of money. I come here specifically to buy hand fans since I don't really know where else to buy them and they are cheap here. Like I said, this place is basically like a dollar tree or 99 cents store but it's not ghetto and they have a neat selection of stuff. I have been here before several times and shopped. But today was not a happy experience. I walked in just to grab a few things two of them being a car phone charger and a tripod for my IPhone. When I was at the check out I was told that if they didn't work I had 5 days to return them. So I walked out to my car and checked both devices just because I don't want to make the hassle of driving back tomorrow or the next day for a return. Charger works fine the tripod did not work for my phone. I walked back in to get my whole whopping 1.50 and was refused. It's a buck 50 and who cares but the the girl in charge was completely rude and could have easily given my money back since it was stated to me that I could get a refund. There was no manager on site. There is another Daiso next to my work. And I'll happily go there to spend my money and never set foot in this one again. read more

Went there yesterday - bought about $8 worth of stuff that I thought I could use, such as a room deodorizer. Most folks who come there browse - most items are unique to US stores. But I wouldn't go there again. A man apparently (not the clerk) got it in his poor pathetic brain that I, an African-American, came there to steal their cheap crap. He stood there looking slightly crazy, whispering and staring. No. I don't steal. And where would I put their junk? I was wearing a tiny necklace purse with my cell phone and a clatch of cards, only. What he was demonstrating is the type of person HE is; what he has done in his life. I'm old enough to know that now, but I still don't want to be insulted over junk I could get on ebay 10/$1. read more

Cute store. Good: variety of cute items for sale. Nice staff. Clean. Bad: used a shopping cart on second visit and got shocked several times while looking at items. Didn't have this issue with first visit, but did not use a cart then. Asked employee at register and she said several other people had experienced the same thing. Secondly, there isn't a bathroom accessible for the public, so plan accordingly especially if you have younger kiddos with you. Overall, will return, but never using a shopping cart here again. read more

One of the best Daiso locations I've been to. If you aren't familiar with the chain, they are basically a Japanese dollar store - the difference being that their base price is $1.50 instead of $1. For that extra 50 cents, you get incomparably better quality. The store is beautiful and in impeccable condition, and the staff are extremely friendly. You get great products for extremely low prices, and the service is excellent. Much better than any dollar store! read more

The whole fam decided to go diaso Japan 2 week's ago. we found some sick iPhone 6 cases that were cool. We also bought some good snacks from diaso. I found some in incense cones called sandalwood they the bizness! When u light it up damn the room is filled with bomb aroma. I'm feeling this flavor diaso plug me up. read more
