Went over the weekend and I'm surprised it was stocked. Usually it's low on items and I would not explore the store for very long. Four stars because of that issue for every time I visit. Other than that. The store is always up-kept, presentable and welcoming staff. It's always clean and the aisles aren't overcrowded. A lot of room to walk around except in the make up aisle. This is one of their biggest store in San Diego. They have plenty of parking but can be limited on weekends since they share with other companies around them. Never had an issue with their staff, they are always smiling and welcoming. They are ready to help! You can find so many stuff here from batteries to household items. So much to explore. Take a walk and get out of the heat!

I finally checked out Daiso after wanting to go forever. It didn't disappoint. There is so much to choose from. The staff was friendly when I had questions and there is plenty of parking. I would go back.

Daiso - my go-to store! This particular location is hands down the largest Daiso I've ever visited. It's definitely my favorite spot to shop for all sorts of goodies.

Daiso. An oasis of serene tranquility and incredible value. You never forget your first visit...For me it was the Irvine location nearly a decade ago. While many of us have experienced the varying quality albeit unbeatable pricing from Dollar Tree, it's truly amazing the difference an extra $.50 makes in terms of quality. As they are famous for, most of Daiso's items are priced at $1.50. They also sell pricier items which are distinguished with specific price stickers/tags. In essence, they sell anything and everything you could possibly want for nearly any aspect of your home/life: the kitchen, bathroom, and office. Seriously. Their selection is insane. I could go on forever about their inventory but will call out some items I use most frequently: - Nail clippers: stainless steel with great build quality - Woven boxes and plastic trays for home organization - Cups - Cotton swabs They also have a solid food/beverage selection including lots of snacks and candies. Will include some pictures (some were taken pre-COVID hence the lack of masks + social distancing; but I know they're currently following protocols to keep shoppers safe) as a sample of everything they offer. I definitely recommend visiting in person for the full experience -- and watch out, it's easy to fill up a cart/basket full of items :)

I stopped in front of the open door as rack it person will need to measure my existing crossbar with cargo carrier already installed to figure out what ski racks will fit with the cargo carrier. The employee came out and started endlessly scolding me about parking infront of the open roll up door, which had no car inside or anyone in the lot. He was having a bad day I guess. He then showed me the perfect ski racks for my setup and said they are retail priced and never on sale, which is not a problem except for his bad attitude. I ended buying that same set for 120$ less on autoplicity and they work great. Attitude is everything, pick a good one.

All they seem to have are the kitchen 13 gallon size, at times. I got some bin liners on Amazon that are the same size, but a lot more expensive. Hope they restock these. They have a lot of great odds and ends, it's pretty random honestly. They seem to have really gotten better at checking people out. It's faster and less of a wait, the times I've gone in the last couple of months. Still great for little things here and there. Pricing can be kind of random, but they do have some price scanners around the store if you want to double check. Otherwise, you can't see how much you paid unless you check your paper receipt after you check out. I grabbed a plastic container a few weeks ago and it was actually 5 bucks. I was annoyed with that because I wouldn't have gotten it. In the grand scheme of life, it's not that big of a deal, but the prices sometimes aren't clear.

This location is incredibly clean, organized, and honestly one of the most welcoming dollar stores I've ever been in. I've been to many dollar stores where things feel cluttered or chaotic, but this one feels open, tidy, and very well stocked every time I visit. You can tell the staff really take pride in keeping the store looking great and maintaining it in pristine condition. I especially want to recognize David and Kristen. David works really hard to make sure the store always stays clean, organized, and well stocked. He's constantly moving around the store restocking items, straightening shelves, and keeping everything tidy. I've also noticed that if the checkout line ever gets more than a few people deep, he quickly jumps on a register to help out, stopping whatever he's doing to make sure the flow of checkout keeps moving smoothly. Kristen is wonderful behind the counter. She is always smiling and asking customers how they are doing, which makes the experience feel very welcoming and personal. She keeps friendly conversation going while also staying attentive to the line and making sure everyone is helped in a timely manner. She balances being warm and personable while also managing the checkout process efficiently. I truly wish more dollar stores had the same positive, welcoming vibe this one does. It's such a pleasant place to shop, and you can really tell the staff care about the store and the customers. Highly recommend this location. -Margaret

Uodated 2025 Review -…read more What once was the 99cent store has been the Dollar Tree for awhile now. This place has been remodeled to accommodate the Dollar Tree layout and spaced out, as the Dollar tree is typically smaller. Having said that everytime I've come over the past year, it seems that what use to be full shelves are quite empty... here we are 11 days in December and many Christmas items are not restocked, they are just letting their inventory sell out. Which sucks, the Dollar tree use to be the for sure place to get last minute items. Having said that, other essential items are mostly in stock like toothbrushes and floss... ive come to rely on my cheap "glue-on nails" when im in between nail appts. However what i may get one day, is not the same offered the following visit. So when you find something you like, buy a few. Otherwise, the staff is always friendly, always a line and they do try to have 2 cashiers available when busy. Parking is easy for this location and its location in the Clairemont Town Square shopping center, so you don't have to go put of your way if you are planning to shop at orher stores.

Be aware it's a business Costco so they don't have a food court, tire center, pharmacy, or gas station. Because it's a business center they also don't have roasted chickens, sporting goods, or clothes. What they do have is office and cleaning supplies, eggs, dairy fruits and vegetables. They have bulk cuts of meat that you can't find at your normal Costco like whole briskets, beef cheeks, ox tails, pork shoulders. They sometimes have items that you won't find at normal Costco's. They also have large bags of ice They don't have everything that you can find at normal Costco's but they have other items that you can't find there too so I guess it just depends what you're looking for. I like buying beef ribs, boneless short ribs, and ox tails. I mostly like that they are open early so I can avoid the crowds.

Most are the same prices for everyday items, which I took photos of. I have seen occasional mentions in their catalog or on their website stating that the deal is only available at the Costco Business Center. It's much more convenient if you're stopping in for a few things, but be aware that most shoppers, particularly in the early morning, are buying supplies and groceries for their businesses. While it looks like fewer shoppers are at the registers, they are buying in bulk, so expect a wait. Both customers and employees appear content and cordial. You can also see the regulars know each other and help each other out, which is refreshing. Another thing to be aware of is that it can get very cold in the produce area; lots of customers are wearing extra layers. I couldn't handle how cold it was in the meat section as I was only wearing shorts and a shirt. I do like this location since I haven't seen any fluff sellers trying to explain their service or product. There isn't a fast food station (no hot dogs, chicken bake, pizza slices, rotisserie chicken, chicken wings, or soft serve). I didn't see clothes, books, toys, or flowers either. I don't think they do sample stations either. Removing these individual consumer items helps create a positive experience by reducing congestion in the parking lot and aisles. If you talk to any of the staff, you get a positive experience and even time to banter, which they seem happy to chat without the chaos of long lines and crowded stores. Maybe it was just the timing of my visit, but I still enjoyed the experience here!
