Went over the weekend and I'm surprised it was stocked. Usually it's low on items and I would not explore the store for very long. Four stars because of that issue for every time I visit. Other than that. The store is always up-kept, presentable and welcoming staff. It's always clean and the aisles aren't overcrowded. A lot of room to walk around except in the make up aisle. This is one of their biggest store in San Diego. They have plenty of parking but can be limited on weekends since they share with other companies around them. Never had an issue with their staff, they are always smiling and welcoming. They are ready to help! You can find so many stuff here from batteries to household items. So much to explore. Take a walk and get out of the heat!

I finally checked out Daiso after wanting to go forever. It didn't disappoint. There is so much to choose from. The staff was friendly when I had questions and there is plenty of parking. I would go back.

Daiso - my go-to store! This particular location is hands down the largest Daiso I've ever visited. It's definitely my favorite spot to shop for all sorts of goodies.

Daiso. An oasis of serene tranquility and incredible value. You never forget your first visit...For me it was the Irvine location nearly a decade ago. While many of us have experienced the varying quality albeit unbeatable pricing from Dollar Tree, it's truly amazing the difference an extra $.50 makes in terms of quality. As they are famous for, most of Daiso's items are priced at $1.50. They also sell pricier items which are distinguished with specific price stickers/tags. In essence, they sell anything and everything you could possibly want for nearly any aspect of your home/life: the kitchen, bathroom, and office. Seriously. Their selection is insane. I could go on forever about their inventory but will call out some items I use most frequently: - Nail clippers: stainless steel with great build quality - Woven boxes and plastic trays for home organization - Cups - Cotton swabs They also have a solid food/beverage selection including lots of snacks and candies. Will include some pictures (some were taken pre-COVID hence the lack of masks + social distancing; but I know they're currently following protocols to keep shoppers safe) as a sample of everything they offer. I definitely recommend visiting in person for the full experience -- and watch out, it's easy to fill up a cart/basket full of items :)

The employee came out and started endlessly scolding me about parking infront of the open roll up door, which had no car inside or anyone in the lot. He was having a bad day I guess. He then showed me the perfect ski racks for my setup and said they are retail priced and never on sale, which is not a problem except for his bad attitude. Pricing can be kind of random, but they do have some price scanners around the store if you want to double check. While times if have changed from this place actually being $5 and below for items, then moving to $5.55 and now offering items up to $25. Somethings are not a great deal anymore. While somethings can be found under $5, it seems like the mass majority of items are $5 or $7. There is a lot to see and look through from toys, to games, to candy to clothing and bath essentials. The store is for the most part stock with the exception of holiday or seasonal items, then its pretty much first come first served. They do have steal deals for clearance items in the past... like 50% off items. Again those items are first come, even if ordered online for store pickup. This location is incredibly clean, organized, and honestly one of the most welcoming dollar stores I've ever been in. I've been to many dollar stores where things feel cluttered or chaotic, but this one feels open, tidy, and very well stocked every time I visit. You can tell the staff really take pride in keeping the store looking great and maintaining it in pristine condition. I especially want to recognize David and Kristen. David works really hard to make sure the store always stays clean, organized, and well stocked. He's constantly moving around the store restocking items, straightening shelves, and keeping everything tidy. I've also noticed that if the checkout line ever gets more than a few people deep, he quickly jumps on a register to help out, stopping whatever he's doing to make sure the flow of checkout keeps moving smoothly. Kristen is wonderful behind the counter. She is always smiling and asking customers how they are doing, which makes the experience feel very welcoming and personal. She keeps friendly conversation going while also staying attentive to the line and making sure everyone is helped in a timely manner. She balances being warm and personable while also managing the checkout process efficiently. I truly wish more dollar stores had the same positive, welcoming vibe this one does. It's such a pleasant place to shop, and you can really tell the staff care about the store and the customers. Highly recommend this location. -Margaret

I stopped by for my usual favorites, and the number one item on my list is always the beef bacon. It's hands down one of the best products they carry. Yes, it's a little pricier than traditional bacon, but the quality is outstanding and well worth every penny. Plus I don't eat pork so it's a staple in my home. An added bonus? Save the beef tallow after cooking--it has so many great uses in the kitchen! Another reason I love shopping here is the produce section. Today I picked up raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries, and every package looked fresh and beautiful. Unlike some warehouse visits, I didn't have to dig through multiple boxes just to find a good batch. This is also my go-to spot for heavy cream and buttermilk, especially since I make homemade bread. The prices are excellent, and they consistently have the larger sizes I need. One thing that really sets this location apart is the customer service. The greeters and cashiers are always welcoming, friendly, and genuinely personable, making every visit enjoyable. I also appreciate that the Business Center is much less crowded than a traditional Costco warehouse. Most shoppers are business owners grabbing what they need, so it's a much quicker and more relaxed shopping experience. Their early opening time of 6:45 a.m. is another huge plus, and although they close around 6:00 p.m., I never feel rushed if I'm already inside finishing my shopping.
