Cute Japanese store. Daiso is a "large franchise of 100 yen shops from Japan." It has a wide array of unique and affordable products. Walking in, the store feels like being transported to another place. It's an adventure to see what they have in there. Worth checking out

The service is good, you can always find help when you have questions! The products are worth purchasing, so they are cheat ima replace soon items! Over all quality items on the shelves

Daiso Japan Everything from $1.50. Selected a few items and everything is fairly inexpensive, before you know it you have just purchased over $100 worth of stuff you really don't need. Good asian snacks there and gadgets you just can't do without. haha

Though I am a bigger fan of Daiso Korea, I must admit that Daiso Japan has its fair share of great discounted goods and knick-knacks. I was actually so shocked to see that there was a Daiso in Dallas, as I thought they only had locations in Los Angeles. Anywho... I was able to find this AMAZING massage stick for only $1.75, and it is better than the electric massage machines that they sell for $50+... It really feels like a deep tissue massage and it was such a great find. I took it back home with me to ATL and it was a HOT response, that I had to buy them in bulks and gift them. This Daiso is one of the bigger ones in the DFW area, but if you're dining at that plaza, you're almost guaranteed a wait... so you might as well kill some time here or Miniso. And it's probably because they're a discount store, but they don't take Apple Pay or AMEX -- so come prepared for that!

This store is new to the neighborhood so I decided to see what they are about. Great bargains and you can find everything you possibly need.

It has a wide variety of things that you use daily and almost everything is $1.5! But you get what you paid for.

I loved Daiso in Japan and California. Finally in Texas, can't wait to have one even closer in Plano.

They have everything you need for Korean anything. Love all the options of Korean side dishes you can buy. There are also lots of little restaurants inside it. In the strips there are a few gift shops where you can buy accessories, kpop stuff like CDs and posters, anime stuff, beauty stuff. They also have a Missha store for Missha kbeauty items. Overall lots of good shops to visit, we would recommend it.

I was stunned and in love since I first discovered this plaza, a few years ago - and honestly it's one of the most amazing plazas anywhere in the country. It reminds me of Dun Huang in Houston and it's just so busy from one end to the other. So much traffic, nowhere near enough parking spots, and what seems like about a hundred different popular ethnic businesses of the East Asian variety. Absolutely amazing Plaza with so many things in it that I can't even get started. And there are lots of different sections to it. Explore it and you will be in Paradise. Easily the best Plaza in Carrollton and arguably the best in DFW. Some of the Boba highlights are the Sharetea here, which is great - get Okinawa Pearl Milk Tea, and Whole Lemon Black Tea. Give Cocohodo a try, which has really great Custard Fish (not actual fish). The Walnut pastries are overrated. Sweet Lab is great, and has puffle egg waffles too. The BF Bakery inside 99 Ranch has great Egg Custard Tarts too. For food, Dumpling inside H-Mart has the best Dumplings I've ever had, anywhere, or thereabouts.

Teso Life is the best place to find a great variety of cute collectibles, beauty products, snacks and more! This is a review long overdue; I've been to Teso many times before, with my first few times way back when it first opened and they had photos of the store thiefs printed and posted on their front door (it always gave me a chuckle, but I think for legality purposes they had to take those photos down RIP). Ironically it was because of those photos that caught my interest to check out Teso, because it was reminiscent of the kind of public shaming behavior I'd see within Asian communities haha. I enjoy treating myself in Teso when I can; they have a huge selection of Chinese Lays, Japanese gummies, childhood favorites like Calbee and Meiji. Huge selection of drinks too, and endless rows of beauty products ranging from hair styling, coloring, mascara, facial masks, etc all packaged in a very aesthetic layout, and you'd know anything you get is going to be good. I've gotten good quality home sandals here too, and enjoy the soft serve ice cream options in their refrigerated areas.

Even though the store was very crowded and busy, it stayed incredibly well-organized. You can tell the staff works hard to keep the shelves stocked and neat. The entire place was spotless and very clean, which made browsing all the unique Japanese products a great experience. The checkout process was smooth. My cashier, Enya, was very friendly and professional. She was a bit on the quiet side, but super efficient and kind while handling my items. If you love Japanese snacks, high-quality beauty products, or just want to explore a cool new shop, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back to see what else they get in stock!

It did take a little bit of extra work to understand each other, but isn't that the beauty of living in America, the cultural melting pot? I truly question the complaints because there are a lot of entitled people in this world anyways. Any misunderstandings I'd attribute to language and cultural barriers because I've never had an unpleasant experience, and neither have my friends whom I've referred here. tbh I was skeptical walking into the store because it looks a little...old/cheesy lol but I had some time to kill while waiting for friends to get to the area so I walked in one day and found an amazing selection of beautiful fine jewelry and engagement rings. Definitely investment pieces, but I'd say there is a reasonable price-range. It just depends on what you were looking for. I've come in several times to just browse and was always greeted with a polite hello. My first purchase was a pair of gold earrings. I've purchased gifts for my sisters here as well. I wear my earrings regularly and they haven't faded at all, nor do they leave that green tarnish on your skin that some cheaper gold items leave. Very happy with my purchases in the past, and when it's time to get engaged, this will definitely be one of the stops where I take my boyfriend to ring shop ;) TLDR; have an open-mind about people who don't look/talk like you; the jewelry is good, high-quality; if you're Korean, you'll prob have an easier time communicating!

I came in to get my watch fixed because one of the pins had accidentally fell out. I arrived and the owner greeted me and asked what he could do for me, I showed him my situation and he took my watch and extra pins to the back to fix it. Spent a good 30 minutes on it and was able to fix it! Only paid $13 for it to be fixed (cheaper compared to Fast N fix at Stonebriar mall which charges $20+). One thing I would recommend is asking for a time estimate because of i had known it was gonna take half an hour there are many places to walk around instead of sitting at the shop. At the end of the day my watch was fixed and for a decent price! Tip: if you're thinking of getting your watch fixed at the Walmart across the street note that they only fix watches purchased from Walmart.
