We had dinner there twice during our week-long stay. The owner is darling and made us feel so welcome, and our waitress was super friendly and helpful. The first night we ordered the fish fry and a salad, and the fish fry (haddock) was so incredibly good that we ordered the same thing the second night we went back! The fish was delicious, and came with fries and coleslaw, and the salad was fantastic as well. Everything was made with very fresh ingredients and was freshly prepared to order. We were sad to leave the finger lakes for many reasons, but not being able to dine regularly at the Dresden Hotel is one of them. We will be back for another trip as soon as we can. Please make sure to stop in and support this great family-run small business. You can then go to Mr Twistee or the Spotted Duck for ice cream afterwards! The world needs more Dresden Hotels!

( My 9 year old and I later joked that there was no wi-fi in there because there was no wi-fi in the 70s) That said .... we were greeted by the Grandmotherly owner/waitress ( hubby was the bartender) and got to choose a booth. Menu is basic home-cooking. It was good. It may not make many Michelin stars but DEFINITELY take the kids for an experience.
