Bought a medium mint Oreo blizzard and it was super yummy. It beats a McFlurry! Cant eat this too often, but it's a good treat once in a while!

Had a craving for a blizzard and was across the shopping center at REI. Temptation got the best of me so I visited the Dairy Queen. They used to have a fair number of Dairy Queen locations but most have closed in the past 10 years or so. Therefore a blizzard is something of a rare treat for me now. I've been dieting and trying to lose a few pounds so a blizzard was definitely sabotaging my efforts but it was worth it. Ordered a small chocolate brownie extreme and it was made to order im just a few minutes. Order at the counter and your selections are prepared by the staff who then call out your order when it's ready. This one was a little short compared to normal but since I was trying to dieting it ended up being plenty.

The queen of dairy since I was a kid. I used to get the Blizzards all the time, and then DQ merged with Orange Julius. I still get the birthday deals for a Julius drink during my birthday, which I redeemed today for the Strawberry Julius. It's one of those drinks that for me, brings back great childhood memories. Lots of new items and flavors since I was last here. I'll have to come back again soon to check them out.

First DQ experience and it didn't disappoint. The Blizzard was awesome and beats McDonald's McFlurry and Fosters Freeze Twisters! The ice cream came out QUICK! And the workers were friendly. Plenty of seating available outdoors.

Dairy Queen is still one of the best spots for a quick sweet treat. We stopped by on Friday night and somehow beat the rush. The line was running out the door by the time we left. This is a treat location, so more ice cream than food although there are a few snacks to choose from (hot dogs, pretzel bites). I got the cherry dipped cone and it was the perfect nostalgic treat to satisfy my sweet tooth. My husband enjoyed his banana split. They both came out within a few minutes, it was very efficient. There's plenty of parking in the MarketPlace although sometimes it can get a little crowded.

    see-through double dip cone

this was from a couple days ago I was so looking forward to my double dipped ice cream cone & when I got it, I got this ice cream cone with a see-through chocolate cover. I even asked is this double dipped and they said. I would not recommend a place normally they're pretty good but this was ass

I was flipping through a magazine while getting my hair done nearby and saw a pic of a pineapple sundae with nuts. Instantly I had a craving but didn't know where to go. I walked over to DQ, didn't see it on the menu and was bummed. But your friendly employee came to my rescue and made me this MASTERPIECE! Isn't it beautiful? Totally made my day!

I only get blizzards or their ice cream cakes here. I've never tried their food. Staff are usually very young and seem confused on how to make menu items. It is a small restaurant with 3 tables that seat 4 people at each. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. I personally love the old school mocha chip blizzard. Staff never know how to make it. However, there is a new caramel java chip blizzard. Order that and ask for it without the caramel. Personally, I don't like the small crispy treat balls in it either. Next time I'll order it without. This is our go-to Dairy Queen. I believe they also deliver through the DoorDash app, but is quite expensive.

Dairy Queen is a global franchise that has been around since 1940, but I can honestly say that I've never been to one until recently. Home to the Blizzard, DQ also serves up an assortment of other sweet treats, cakes, sandwiches, hot dogs, snacks and sides. In search of something to satisfy our sweet tooth on a rainy day when my daughter also had the day off school, we dropped into DQ at Tustin Marketplace. Their classic cone comes in 3 different sizes and guests can choose between vanilla, chocolate or a chocolate vanilla swirl. We ordered two of the swirl cones in the medium size and quickly discovered their ice cream is soft serve. My daughter was not a fan of their cone, and I honestly thought it would cost less but each cone ran almost $5. At that price, I'd rather go get a sundae at Mickey D's. Service was adequate considering we were the only customers. I support small business but there is quite a bit of competition in this space (there's literally a Handel's across Jamboree Road), so I wish the owners luck with this biz.

Normal ice cream spot and what you'd expect. Service was relatively quick with amount of people in line and mint ice cream was good

We ordered three things; mint chocolate chip, rose, and milk and cereal. All with a bubble waffle cone. The service was disappointing, the guy who worked there seemed like he didn't care and it was just another job. No life to him and was just rude about asking the code for the bathroom. The mint and chip is basic. Nothing too much about it. My kids like it, so I got it. Average 3/5. The rose ice cream tasted like a rose, it was pretty good and very floral. The disappointing part is I was hoping the ice cream would be shaped like a rose as depicted on the picture. Nope, just a scoop and left it as is. 5/5 for taste and 0/5 for presentation. The milk and cereal one was actually pretty good. Especially with Frosted Flakes in it. It literally taste like cereal. 5/5. I would give it a higher star if the service complimented it and th presentation of the rose ice cream did.

We got there around 10pm, and the line wasn't too long. I got their sea salt and double fold vanilla ice cream, which was the perfect combo, and let me tell you why! The sea salt ice cream itself is pretty salty because of the Guatemalan salt they use, but the caramel is strong and has the perfect sweetness, giving it that sweet-and-salty balance. Since I found the ice cream a bit more on the salty side, I wanted something sweeter, which is why the vanilla was the perfect addition. This is hands down one of the best vanilla ice creams I've had because I could really taste the vanilla bean flavor (it's called "double fold" for a reason). Their ice cream doesn't disappoint--it's rich, creamy, and really lives up to its flavors.

I was slightly surprised that the price is close to $7 for a single scoop of ice cream on a cone, I guess I'm used to those days when ice cream used to be a dollar, but what I did appreciate was that they offered to put it in a cup for us because the portion they give is so generous that it doesn't fit on a cone. I actually wanted something a little healthier when I went so I chose the no sugar added pistachio, which was so good so creamy so delicious and full of pistachio nuts. I'm aware that there are other options nearby such as Dairy Queen at less than half the price of this, but if I had to choose again, I might still come back to Handel's because the single scoop could almost be enough for two people. We went with a few other families and none of the kids could actually finish their ice cream cone, which is actually good because that means you can share. I got the s'mores one and it was super delicious, with a graham cracker base, chocolate chips and gooey marshmallows. It was also super creamy and flavorful!
