Afters has become my absolute favorite ice cream shop. After enjoying their dessert in Pasadena, I was pleased to see them located inside The Orange Circle, close to home. This location is bigger, and may offer more flavors. I absolutely love their decor, which reminds us that "ice cream is cheaper than therapy". Because today is National ice cream day, I couldn't miss the chance to eat some. Since I was in the area, I decided to come to Afters. There were already other customers trying samples of different flavors, so they obviously offer samples for free. I looked in the case and already decided to get the Saigon Coffee flavor in a cup. The menu is posted on the wall behind the counter. I ordered mine in a cup, no toppings, which cost $6.25. You also have the option to have it in a sugar or waffle cone for extra, of course. There was only one server, who was friendly and efficient. I noticed a second server by the time I ate my ice cream. The flavor of the ice cream was pretty tasty, and it had a nice smooth texture. I would recommend it. There's plenty of seating indoors. There are two tables that seat four near the back, and a long table with stool seating near the front of the shop. It felt a little warm inside so I'm not sure if the A/C was on or just not turned on high enough. They have a free standing refrigerator with prepackaged ice cream. A little pricy though. They also sell other merchandise, like T-shirts. There's plenty of free street parking. If you can't find parking right outside the shop, you can definitely find it down a nearby side street. read more

All, are very good. In terms of the interior and seating, it's a large space. They have two tables at one end, and a lot of counter space. So, you should have no problem finding a place to sit down after you make your order. On the downside of this business, the one thing I will note, is at least the times I've been in there in the summer months, it's kind of warm. I guess they don't want to spend a lot of money on air-conditioning, or something like that. But, by my opinion, it is an ice cream shop, so you should keep it cool inside. I visited here late on a weekday afternoon. I looked over the ice cream offerings and toppings and decided on a single scoop of cookie butter in a cup with some caramel sauce as a topping. They have a couple of 4-top tables and a long communal table inside. I took a seat at the latter and dove into my treat. The scoop was quite generous and the amount of sauce was passable. The cookie butter ice cream was incredibly delicious with a bold flavor; I devoured it quickly. The interior was exceptionally clean and the service efficient. Long line here on a hot scorching day. Several flavors on display in the freezer. So many choices. I sampled a few, but it was a sorbet type of day so chose a scoop of the mango. Afters is a must for me, every time I visit Cali! My boyfriend and I headed here on our way back to Phoenix from Disney. I was sad to see they didn't gave Dubai Choc available for scoops so I opted for my traditional cookie monster and ube brownie. It never disappoints. They did have Dubai choc. available for purchase by the pint ($20 ) and the server was super nice and helped me insulate my ice cream to bring back to Phoenix. I'm happy to report my ice cream made it back without melting. I did also purchase ice and a foam cooler from the gas station down the street, lol. read more

However, I am deeply in love with the ice cream flavors of this place, and I also love the smell of vanilla extract and other flavors as this makes this place feel very comforting. Came here on a Saturday afternoon, the staff was nice and helpful, provided whatever samples I wanted to try. I ended up getting a double scoop of mint monster and the strawberry crunch. Both flavors are bomb! My friend got the milkshake with the same flavor. The staff definitely hook it up on the milkshake, I saw like at least 6 scoops of ice cream in the milkshake. Good ice cream shops with some very unique flavors. My family and I have been coming here for years, but a recent development is keeping us from visiting again. Afters recently introduce Dubai Chocolate which quickly became a favorite. On a recent visit we were told that they no longer carry it by the scoop and can only be purchased by the pint. Here lies the rub. The pints of Dubai Chocolate are DOUBLE the price of the regular pints of every other flavor. Total money grab move by the company. Feels like they're only looking at the bottom line and not the customer. I guess there's a reason many of their stores have had had to shut down. I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

NO BATHROOM FOR CHILDREN IN LINE... Came in with my family to get a scoop of ice cream on a Wednesday evening... not gonna lie the ice cream is always great here. Both my 3 year old and 6 year old needed the bathroom while we waited in line. I was told there is no bathroom on the premise, which is against CA law as they allow patrons to eat ice cream on site. I explained that we are ordering ice cream as we speak and that I was going to have a wet situation on my hands... the employee told me that the closest bathroom was 3 stores down. Considering we are paying customers who frequent this location (and have used the bathroom before), this is inexcusable. Sad to say, but this is our last time coming here. Plenty of ice cream shops nearby that are much cheaper and offer restrooms to their child customers. I obviously don't leave a lot of reviews, but denying a child a bathroom is beyond me. read more

This is our first time in this location. Street parking can be limited but we've always been able to find one if you just wait a bit. This location is a lot bigger and nicer looking than the Cerritos location. There are plenty indoor seatings as well which I appreciate. I love how Afters has a lot of trendy and interesting selections. They are known for their cookie monster flavor which is our personal favorite. The Milk and Cereal flavor is also good if you want a simple and lighter flavor. Highly suggest for you to sample the flavors to make sure you get the flavor you really like. The staff is really friendly about sampling and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. Portions of scoop is really good. A double scoop can be shared between 2-3 people. read more
