You know a business is going to close eventually bc few people mention it, workers don't seem to care and products just look gross ? Yea, that's this Afters location. Ube ice cream looked like it had melted completely and then refrozen to be served... Lots of the tubs of ice cream had other ice cream droppings mixed in. Workers were on their phones and scooped ice cream with those bare hands. Got a strawberry crunch that tasted so artificial but still had to finish bc it was $6.25. Was unpleasantly surprised to see the more horrific green looking mint ice cream staring back after a few spoons in. Don't bother spending money at this ice cream shop. Afters has become my absolute favorite ice cream shop. After enjoying their dessert in Pasadena, I was pleased to see them located inside The Orange Circle, close to home. This location is bigger, and may offer more flavors. I absolutely love their decor, which reminds us that "ice cream is cheaper than therapy". Because today is National ice cream day, I couldn't miss the chance to eat some. Since I was in the area, I decided to come to Afters. There were already other customers trying samples of different flavors, so they obviously offer samples for free. I looked in the case and already decided to get the Saigon Coffee flavor in a cup. The menu is posted on the wall behind the counter. I ordered mine in a cup, no toppings, which cost $6.25. You also have the option to have it in a sugar or waffle cone for extra, of course. There was only one server, who was friendly and efficient. I noticed a second server by the time I ate my ice cream. The flavor of the ice cream was pretty tasty, and it had a nice smooth texture. I would recommend it. There's plenty of seating indoors. There are two tables that seat four near the back, and a long table with stool seating near the front of the shop. It felt a little warm inside so I'm not sure if the A/C was on or just not turned on high enough. They have a free standing refrigerator with prepackaged ice cream. A little pricy though. They also sell other merchandise, like T-shirts. There's plenty of free street parking. If you can't find parking right outside the shop, you can definitely find it down a nearby side street. read more

Afters Ice Cream is this fun boutique ice cream business located right off of the Orange Circle on Glasssell. What they offer is a very unique limited amount of choices of ice cream. All, are very good. In terms of the interior and seating, it's a large space. They have two tables at one end, and a lot of counter space. So, you should have no problem finding a place to sit down after you make your order. On the downside of this business, the one thing I will note, is at least the times I've been in there in the summer months, it's kind of warm. I guess they don't want to spend a lot of money on air-conditioning, or something like that. But, by my opinion, it is an ice cream shop, so you should keep it cool inside. But, that's just my thoughts, you can make up your own mind. Overall, if you're in Orange, and you want some great ice cream, this is a good place to check out. read more

I visited here late on a weekday afternoon. I looked over the ice cream offerings and toppings and decided on a single scoop of cookie butter in a cup with some caramel sauce as a topping. They have a couple of 4-top tables and a long communal table inside. I took a seat at the latter and dove into my treat. The scoop was quite generous and the amount of sauce was passable. The cookie butter ice cream was incredibly delicious with a bold flavor; I devoured it quickly. The interior was exceptionally clean and the service efficient. Sad compared to the OG fountain valley location. They only had half of the flavors and 2/3 flavors I tried had bad freezer burn. Then the flavor I chose was halfway melted - no wonder the other flavors had freezer burn. It's a shame bc Afters is a great ice cream company with good rep, but this location slanders the whole name. Visited 8/29 around 6:30PM. This place ended up being $13.39 for a single scoop of ice cream and two root beers plus a thousands of dollars in fraudulent charges as their POS system was hacked with a shimmer. Both employees told me they don't take cash or AMEX so forced to use a debit card. I never used my debit card prior to visiting this location. On top of all that impossible to get a hold of anyone at this company to notify them they are putting customers at risk. Never in my life coming to this expensive over rated -- headache of a place. read more

Afters is a must for me, every time I visit Cali! My boyfriend and I headed here on our way back to Phoenix from Disney. I was sad to see they didn't gave Dubai Choc available for scoops so I opted for my traditional cookie monster and ube brownie. It never disappoints. They did have Dubai choc. available for purchase by the pint ($20 ) and the server was super nice and helped me insulate my ice cream to bring back to Phoenix. Good ice cream shops with some very unique flavors. My family and I have been coming here for years, but a recent development is keeping us from visiting again. Afters recently introduce Dubai Chocolate which quickly became a favorite. On a recent visit we were told that they no longer carry it by the scoop and can only be purchased by the pint. Here lies the rub. The pints of Dubai Chocolate are DOUBLE the price of the regular pints of every other flavor. Total money grab move by the company. Feels like they're only looking at the bottom line and not the customer. I guess there's a reason many of their stores have had had to shut down. I'll spend my money elsewhere. read more

We love Afters- from their ice cream flavors, to their playful branding and friendly service. We always take our friends who are visiting here and all of them have enjoyed it. This is our first time in this location. Street parking can be limited but we've always been able to find one if you just wait a bit. This location is a lot bigger and nicer looking than the Cerritos location. There are plenty indoor seatings as well which I appreciate. I love how Afters has a lot of trendy and interesting selections. They are known for their cookie monster flavor which is our personal favorite. The Milk and Cereal flavor is also good if you want a simple and lighter flavor. Highly suggest for you to sample the flavors to make sure you get the flavor you really like. The staff is really friendly about sampling and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable. Portions of scoop is really good. A double scoop can be shared between 2-3 people. read more
