Very friendly service and it's very cute inside…read more Really good cornbread. I had chicken and stuffing Sunday special with greens and sweet potatoes. The chicken was incredibly tender and not dry at all. I try think maybe it's been brined in buttermilk overnight. It didn't even need the gravy, which I ordered on the side (I highly recommend that). Then I could dip and use just a small amount of gravy. It's an interesting dish, almost like the chicken was cooked in the dressing like a casserole. I have no idea how they did it. Very tender and easy to eat. Comfort food. Great greens. Good sweet potatoes (a little on the sweet side for me, but most people will love them, and they are very tasty). My dinner partner had chicken fried steak with greens and mashed potatoes. CFS was excellent, tender and crispy. Good cream gravy. Good standard mashed potatoes. There was a bit too much salt in several things for my taste, including the chicken gravy and the greens. Both were very flavorful but personally I would cut the salt for both. That's just me. But if you are sensitive to salt you might avoid those particular items or eat sparingly. Peach cobbler for dessert. Also Google will tell you they close at 4pm on Sunday. Not true, they're open until 8:30 pm Sunday.

My wife had to go back to work due to my having an aneurysm. She is 60 years old and a hard worker. The manager didn't do his paperwork for payroll and so none of the employees got paid. Corporate came in and made him apologize to each employee. Two weeks after that my wife didn't receive a paycheck again. She contacted Corporate and they said they were processing it, she never got it!! The next payday came and we assumed they would have it corrected, they did not. She didn't get a check again even though Corporate said they would take care of it. The next payday came and went without a check again. My wife was forced to get a job somewhere else. This has caused us to almost lose our property and home. We live in poverty and are playing catch up to this day. She has contacted Corporate, labor board, consumer affairs, hugo district attorney and the attorney General and not one has returned a phone call, text or email. I hope someone reads this and can help us because she is still owed 6 and a half weeks of pay. Not only is kfc corrupt and inept but also our government officials!! We have reached out to attorneys but they are afraid to take on a big corporation even though kfc has no case at all and we can prove the hours owed. We hope that people read this and don't seek employment there because we don't want to see anyone else to go through this.
