Came through Paris, TX on the way down to Seabrook. The kids have been dying to try Whataburger, as there aren't any anywhere close to where we live in Illinois. We ordered three meals and two sandwiches. It didn't take too awful long to get the food, and we took off back on the road. Luckily before we got too far down the road we realized they gave us the wrong order. We had to turn around and go inside to exchange the incorrect order for the correct one. Because of this the food was kinda cold, the fries were the warmest which at least I was grateful for. All in all the food was unimpressive. Clearly just your run of the mill crappy fast food. Went on a Sunday afternoon. Waited over an hour for a chicken strip sandwich. I asked every 10 minutes and they kept saying they're working on it. Staff was friendly and respectful, was just frustrating to wait there for an extended amount of time. Food was cold and stale as well and was sitting on counter for probably 7 or 8 minutes before they brought it out. Just a really unfortunate experience. Will actively avoid this location going forward. Go anywhere else. read more

Not a location I'd visit again. At least the workers on break watching videos on their phones at full volume distracted us from the swarm of flies that buzzed around us as we watched our food sit on the counter. Good leadership and a fly catcher could turn this place around for sure! read more

Huge Whataburger fan here. Huge. Upon arrival, we were not greeted. We stood at the counter for quite a while until what seemed to be the manager approached us as if we were a burden to her. Guess she didn't want our business? Once ordered, our food was ready quicker than other reviewers have complained about, however, our food was cold. I came to this location to buy Spicy Ketsup. While they don't sell it, they were extremely helpful in locating some from me at the local grocery store. I went to a Whataburger for the first time on a road trip down to Texas. I thought I had to give it a try since it is a major burger chain I hadn't been to before. now you're probably wondering if their burgers are any good. Well, this review isn't for you. I ordered a Grilled cheese!! As far as fast food Grilled cheeses go, it was good. The cheese was creamy and the sandwich wasn't soggy. But nothing to write home about. The French fries were alright, the flavor itself was good, but they would've been better at a warmer temperature. The interior of this particular location was dated (think dark wood decor) but clean and tidy. One unique aspect of the place is you actually get a number placard to bring to your table, and they bring your food out to you. I typically don't see this at fast food restaurants like this. Another thing I noticed is that you have to ask for your ketchup, even when dining in. I like when places like this have ketchup pumps available in the dining area so you can load up and not have to squeeze packets. Overall, this is your average fast food burger joint. read more

Worst place we have ever eaten. YESTERDAY,at 4:20 we pulled into the drive thru. At 4:40 we finally ordered, T 4:49 we received our order. Two drinks, but No straws. Fries were cold, burgers were half cooked. Tasted raw. We threw them away and ate the cold fries. We spent $20.00...Never again will we ever go to this Shity Whataburger..Poor..poor management. I pull to the drive thru, no one in front of me and I get pretty fast service but here's my problem. The sauce I specifically asked for was not in the bag. Mistakes happen so no big deal right? I pull to the front and go inside because I didn't want to hold up the people behind me. I walk in and I say "hey I just orders are I asked for ____ and ____ sauce but it wasn't in the bag". I get a suck of the teeth, an eye roll, and the lady at the counter hands me the sauce and walks away. Not a "oh I'm sorry that's our bad" or anything nice. Just disrespect! I was traveling back home from Arkansas and decided to stop at Whataburger to get a bite to eat and use the restroom. The food was delicious as I always expect Whataburger to be. The restroom was clean but the one thing that stood out in this visit was the people working the front counter. They were so nice especially the young man that was working. I wish I had gotten his name so I could give him credit. He was so polite and friendly to everyone that came in. I hope his boss knows what a valuable employee they have. read more

Waited in line 15 minutes for a small coke. When I got up to the window, the young woman barked the total and said nothing else to me. She gave my card back, gave me my drink, and that's it. Cashiers are up front discussing who shorted the register that the manager just counted. None of them are responsible. They all "took debit cards.." Just got my food at 12 minutes. This is a high traffic restaurant, they should be better equipped and prepared for a busy night. But that's the funny part...they weren't even that busy.
