This quaint, homestyle, cafe, hidden away in Blossom, TX (a few miles from Paris, TX), offers all of the Southern charm, and flavor you'd expect (and then some) almost as if it's straight out of a movie set in such a place! Under fairly new ownership, many recipes and systematic operations stayed in place! With daily specials such as their famous "Chicken Fried Steak Dinner" (GENEROUS portion that covers more than half of the plate, breaded fresh, and served with home made gravy, and two sides, a roll, and dessert, are not going to disappoint! The specials vary from Southern flair such as chicken and dumplings, smothers or fried pork chops, and even Mexican food on occasion!). Don't forget to occasionally order one of their hand made hamburger steaks or hamburgers!! Several varieties of hamburgers to choose from (don't foefef the bacon!!), with a butter toasted bun, and the BEST, hand cut French fries I have ever eaten! They also serve crinkle cut (bur go for the hand cut!). The owners are so friendly and go out and talk to the guests, regularly, the servers are efficient and sweet, and service is timely! Many a local worker and family find themselves there daily, and people all know one another- unless someone traveling down hwy 82 just happens to pull in! In the spring and summer they also have seafood night and serve crawfish as well on the weekends during season! They serve breakfast and dinner as well, with just as much flavor as all of the rest of the menu! Comfort food galore! I've lived here since 2019, used to own a 4 star restaurant in Louisiana, and am a traveler and a foodie... and only recommend this place! read more

Pretty even with it's only competitor weezys . Boring mediocre food served by staff that doesnt seem to want to be there. Their fish Friday special is a joke when there's too many other choices for it. read more
