First time here / not local, but this location is what every other Whataburger (and many other restaurants) should strive to become. I had an amazing experience this evening; yes the food was great but that's not the best thing. It is the people! The staff and management are kind, helpful, detail-minded, and truly seem to care about themselves, each other, and their customers. It was so refreshing to watch the employees treat each other respectful (whether training, cleaning, serving, etc), but also witness the manager and assistant manager treat their staff kind and respectful. So refreshing and encouraging to witness these young people work together, under great management - as a team - to deliver a great meal with fantastic service! I was there last night to get a Hamberger and waited in line for 20 minutes and when I got to the pick up window my order was not ready I cancel my order and went to McDonalds and got my order in 2 minutes bad service I may never go back. read more

There were 23 of us traveling together for our Family Vacation on July 6th,...and decided to stop at this Whataburger for lunch as it was right off of I-30 on our way to our destination. The parking lot was full and we expected to be in the restaurant quite awhile. We were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Although they were very busy, the staff took our orders quickly, we got our food in a timely manner and they even went above and beyond coming by tables to see if we needed any additional condiments or drink refills. The assistant manager, Shelby Williamson made sure that everyone was greeted when they came into the restaurant and thanked when they left. In all my years (I am 75), I have never experienced this type of service in a fast food restaurant. We were so impressed, that several of us stopped by for lunch on our way home after our vacation was over. Again, Shelby was there and the service was the same. Also, I need to mention that the restaurant was spotless on both of our visits. All tables were cleaned immediately after someone left . The management of this store has instilled a culture of friendliness and good service in their employees. Job well done!!! read more

Nice and new. Lily was great and dive through but I had to come in for new fries 3 times because they were doused in salt. Every-time I waited for less salt they would deliver them too salty to eat. Also , the front cashiers were super sweet. The female manager was nice and could tell she cared. Finally I ask for no salt and salt packs. Then the store manager came out with the fries but the rest of my food was cold so I asked for a refund. This guy made the situation worse than it was. Being unprofessional and telling me he watched the salt being poured on fries and wasn't too much etc. They should have remade the entire order with no salt and give me packets. A quick trip through a drive through turned into a 30 minute ordeal and made me late to my destination. The lady manager should be promoted to store manager and the young dude with the beard should be demoted. He said I was embarrassing myself and there was only 2 people in the whole place. Everyone was professional except the so called store manger. Told me don't come back even though I explained I'm traveling through. And definitely won't be back. Cleanest Whataburger I've ever visited. Very friendly staff. They served us the wrong food at first but quickly corrected their mistake. The food was good quality as expected. Fruit slices and fruit chews for dessert option for the kids meals. We enjoyed our lunch. Only thing I would change would be longer straws for the large drinks. read more

It's pretty good, y'know? It's hard to find a bad Whataburger, and this happens to be a not bad Whataburger. In fact, I would say this is an above average Whataburger. What really stands out here is the design, in my opinion. It's quite different from a normal fast food restaurant, but it still has the charm. This whataburger was HANDS DOWN the best whataburger/fast food I have been to. The food is always great, but I'm leaving this review because the staff and restaurants was extremely clean. Tables were all spotless, bathrooms spotless. The staff was constantly around cleaning as well as asking if they could get you anything. stopped in at this location at 2:00am Friday night/Saturday morning after having been in the car for 18 hours. We were exhausted and hungry. We placed our order at the drive thru and she got it right the first time and was very pleasant and friendly. They were surprisingly busy considering the late hour but they were very efficient and we waited in line for less than one minute. When we pulled up to the window they had our orders ready and exactly as we had placed them. Thank you so much to the friendly people at this location in the wee hours of the morning. The food was the average it normally is at Whataburger. What prompted this low score is due their non-compliance regarding the Texas standards during this pandemic. There were multiple workers not wearing their masks properly. This is unacceptable in the food industry. Also, they were not holding patrons responsible for entering with masks. There were a number of folks that walked in without the masks and no one said anything to them. They did have sanitizer wipes and gel available. One of the girls not wearing her mask properly was working the drive thru and walking food and drinks out to cars was wearing gloves. However she was handling her mask and touching her face and hair and didn't change the gloves. She grabbed the food and drinks and headed out. I'm saddened that there's not compliance by the manager. This is one of the worst Whatabugers there is. I would have to agree with the other reviews the wait staff and cashiers are very friendly, but I went there for great food. All restaurants can have bad night were the food isn't as good as it was on a previous visit. The last 3 times at this Whatabuger it been bad. I am sorry(actually I am not, but more as a pity for their epic fail on the burger) but this place has the nastiest burger I ever git to taste in my life. The meat was over cooked and burnt and dry and had no condiments in it, and it tasted like rubber over all. I was not offered a ketchup or pickle for my burger...The burger could have really used these since it really lacked flavor. I rather much prefer burgers from Jack in the box or Carl's Jr... The fries are served a bit greasy and not warm enough. Overall, this was a big disappointment since people around here seem to like this burger joint. Top notch Whataburger. We do a lot of weekend trips to Texarkana from Dallas that end up putting us on the road after midnight. We always stop at this Whataburger for a little pick me up. The staff is always super friendly. Everything is really clean. Probably the best decorated Whataburger I've seen. They always have hot coffee and good burgers that keeps us awake for the rest of the trip. It's surprisingly pretty happening for 1-2 in the morning! I thought I should for this Whataburger in Sulpher Springs because I owe them that. The staff at this Whataburger was extraordinary. They were very polite and were glad to see you come in the door. They forgot to put a cookie that I purchased in the bag and when I went back in they apologized and gave me an extra cookie. That is great PR. I'm sure the manager has a lot to do with this review. The employees seem happy to be working and things were running very smoothly. Kudos to the manager and I hope this restaurant gets an award for excellence in customer relations. read more

Usual delicious burgers with plenty of lettuce and tomato, Free senior drinks as usual. Fast ordering with no upsize spiel, as usual. Fast preparation and delivery to table as usual. Condiments: pepper shaker, salt shaker, ketchup packages in rack on table. Much better than usual. Felt that they trust their customers. Place was sparkling clean and staff busy keeping it that way.
