I immediately called the location and spoke to the manager. She told me I could drive back to have them remade. I explained that I wasn't going to spend another hour on the road for their mistake and simply asked for a refund. She replied that it was "not company policy" to issue refunds and instead offered for me to come back tomorrow to get the missing food. I told her I don't come to Mount Pleasant often and would not be able to come back tomorrow. She then offered to extend the remake for a week, and later even said she could ask her district manager to extend it for two weeks. None of this fixes the fact that I paid for two meals I did not receive. This is absolutely unacceptable. Refusing to refund customers when an order is incomplete is stealing. I paid for food and did not get it. Whataburger should do better.

I had wanted a fish sandwich and forgotten that those were only available during Lent. Had a brief friendly conversation with a woman I assumed was the manager, who apologized and explained why fish wasn't on the menu. After we ordered and while waiting, I mentioned to her that my husband had expressed interested in their advertised banana pudding shake but that it was a strange concept and he was hesitant to order one. She brought him a sample! and I thought that was a really nice gesture. We got our order pretty quickly, got in the car and opened the bag to discover that one of the two sandwiches was omitted. Went right back in and they were SO apologetic for the error. Under most circumstances I'd pan them for omitting a major item, but the heartfelt apolgies (from two people) were sufficient. Both sandwiches were delicious. However - if we hadn't made the discovery until we were back on the highway, I would definitely have been pretty upset.

I expressed to her it looked and felt more like a $7 meal. I spoke to cashier about my displeasure with the portions. She said that portion was correct, even if you ate inside. Very disappointed in the size portions of this meal. The dressing was most likely no more than 5-6 tablespoons per scoop. Scoop size was size of small ice cream scoop. Felt robbed. Got home and dressing was little to no flavor and very dry turkey. Gravy was no giblet gravy, not one piece of egg to be seen. More like brown jarred gravy. No cranberry sauce. I would have rather ate at McDonalds. I would advise skipping Oak Ridge next Thanksgiving and trying your luck somewhere else.
