They also make their own sweet tea and lemonade. Of the sides I've tried, I think I liked the corn/elote best. Oh, right, they also have a mean salad! One of the best I've ever had. A sweet waitress helped us with tea and coffee and we decided on chicken fried steak with eggs for me and pancake breakfast for him. Now I'll say this- this is not fast food. But it was a crispy, fresh chicken fried steak just like my own grandma used to make. The gravy was PERFECTION, obviously used bacon grease. I was in hog heaven. And the cook (granny herself, I assume) made sure my eggs were exactly to my liking (runny yolks with no jiggly whites). I wish I lived nearby or had a teleporter. I'd eat that CFS once a week! Definitely worth finding this little gem. Oh, and they told me about their small business gumption remodeling the place to prepare for its opening.
