We wanted to split a cup, so we simply asked for an extra cup. We were told there by a girl there would be a $1 charge for the additional cup. I refused because, honestly, charging a dollar just to provide an extra cup felt ridiculous. Then we asked for just a small plastic cup and were told that would also be $1. At that point, I thought, "Why don't you use the tip I just gave you to cover it?" I could understand $.10-.20 Maxx but $1!!!! It's about the principle and how you make customers feel. If the goal is to make up for the economy by over--charging repeat customers for every little thing, remember that customers are dealing with the economy too. There are reasonable ways to cut costs without nickel-and-diming your regular customers. The attitude by this girl is not the greatest to start with. After being a customer more than twice a week, this experience was enough for us to take our business elsewhere. You don't keep loyal customers by making them feel like they're being over--charged for every little thing. Nothing lasts forever, especially if treated like this! The service at this location absolutely needs improvement!
