This used to be one of our go-to spots for a sweet treat more than twice a week, and we genuinely enjoyed coming here. Every visit, when the payment system was presented, I would leave a little tip because I appreciated the service. Unfortunately, that changed after one visit. We wanted to split a cup, so we simply asked for an extra cup. We were told there by a girl there would be a $1 charge for the additional cup. I refused because, honestly, charging a dollar just to provide an extra cup felt ridiculous. Then we asked for just a small plastic cup and were told that would also be $1. At that point, I thought, "Why don't you use the tip I just gave you to cover it?" I could understand $.10-.20 Maxx but $1!!!! It's about the principle and how you make customers feel. If the goal is to make up for the economy by over--charging repeat customers for every little thing, remember that customers are dealing with the economy too. There are reasonable ways to cut costs without nickel-and-diming your regular customers. The attitude by this girl is not the greatest to start with. After being a customer more than twice a week, this experience was enough for us to take our business elsewhere. You don't keep loyal customers by making them feel like they're being over--charged for every little thing. Nothing lasts forever, especially if treated like this! The service at this location absolutely needs improvement! read more

2 stars for the service and nice outdoor patio seating (please see photos below) 0 stars for the actual ice cream and ice cream sundaes and very limited choices One fair shot and we shall never return! read more

So glad we have this spot in the neighborhood! The ice cream tastes fresh and I love that they have an outdoor seating area. It's a nice place to sit outside and very family friendly. Great flavors and topping options without being gimmicky. All the ice cream we tried was really good and the staff was very kind. Highly recommend especially for summer evenings. read more

Phenomenal ices! My husband loves the grape and, tonight, I got the spicy strawberry mango! Not spicy, but mango sorbet with strawberry swirls and chile speckled throughout. Yum! We have also had several of their ice creams. The Southern Banana Pudding and White Turtle are out of this world! Nice to have REAL ice cream made and served by a friendly team! Don't miss this local gem! read more

Ice cream is worth the wait, it is so delicious & creamy! Staff helpful with the many options & my inquiries on flavors

Bruster's Ice Cream didn't quite meet the hype or expectations we had going in. The flavors were fine, but fairly standard and nothing really stood out. It's good ice cream, just not memorable. When comparing it to Andy's Frozen Custard, I'd honestly pick Andy's any day for richer flavor and overall experience. Not bad, but not a place I'd go out of my way for again. read more

Absolutely delicious ice cream! Cherry cheesecake to die for & same with key lime. I could eat it every day! Friend's strawberry was fresh and luscious. HUGE portion for reasonable price. Kinda wish it was closer but then I'd be gaining weight! read more

We love it here! We go at least 1-3 times a month and the rewards program is worth it.

I can't say enough good things about this location! The owner especially seems hands on dedicated to good customer service, and providing a delicious premium product. I stopped by on an extremely hot and tiring day and came away more than satisfied! read more

Ice cream is super yummy! Service is good as usual, and the ambience is like your 1950's diners and colorful red theme (expect clear igloos during the winter if you want to get a cold bite in a cold season) definitely a comeback read more

Delicious ice cream with lots of flavors to choose from! They also make sundaes and concretes which I look forward to trying. They allow you to taste different flavors before making a (very tough!) decision which is great because there are so many options. The service was friendly and they also have a rewards program. We can't wait to return again! read more

The line to order from the walk up window was incredibly long, we decided to do the drive up instead because it was shorter. We both ordered a turtle sundae. Both of the sundaes were good, there was a more than generous amount of pecans, chocolate syrup and caramel. We opted for butter pecan ice cream instead of vanilla and experienced a pit of pecan overload. It was good, but the next time we'll go with vanilla instead. Judging by the crowds Bruster's is a hit in our area as there were many families enjoying a warm fall evening. For informational purposes the two sundaes were about $17.00. read more

Bruster's is one of the best ice creams I've ever had: real cream, fresh ingredients.

Tried this place for the 1st time and it was really good. Just a little sad that some of the stuff on the app, they didn't have. So, that was a bit disappointing. Overall, would definitely come back but if ur going, go during the week and not late afternoon. They get super slammed! Limited parking... lots of dogs around, so be cautious if your taking your too lol. read more

Bruster's Real Ice Cream - Kids Dino ice cream - Desserts Near Me - Aurora, Illinois

Delicious! This was our first visit and we'll definitely be back! The kids really liked the cotton candy explosion and I really enjoyed the chocolate raspberry truffle, but so many flavors sounded great. They also have icee type drinks perfect for these hot days. They have shakes, sundaes, and lots of topping options. Just a word of advice, get a small unless you like a LOT of ice cream. We got small 2-scoops and it was plenty! read more

Very nice, clean friendly establishment . This is a new location & new business in the area so people need to be understanding that they are getting things going & there will be longer waits, busier hours on weekends etc while they are getting the ball rolling. Some of the best, creamy, super smooth ice cream I have tasted. There are options for everyone & more dairy free options than most ice cream places I have been to. Highly suggest you check them out & have a little patience if it's busy! Staff is learning & we're very pleasant when I went there. read more

This place is great! They have a variety of options of which are all delicious. The service is relatively quick with like 15 families here at once. The outdoor seating gives the oppurtunity to see the nice sunset. Baskin Robbins is my personal favourite so I go there more. But I should rethink my ice cream preferations. So go here! read more

Absolutely beautiful cake. It was so easy to customize from their website. Choose the ice cream you want, cake, and filling. I can't find my order in my email so I don't know if the misspelling of my wife's name was my fault or theirs. It wasn't a big deal. It was so delicious! We had 7 people have cake and still have 1/3 of it left. read more

For the love of frozen dairy treats! Wow. My son and I stopped in last night and decided to grab a couple of pints to bring home to the family. I was at first disappointed at the price point BUT 3 of us had the Rocky Road and there is still some leftover. The thing is...it is SO good that a little goes a long way. I'm a big ice-cream fan and can easily put down a pint of Ben and Jerry's, so this is a game changer! Service was great but the ice-cream was better. Final note: the chocolate chip might be the best I've had. read more

Went for the first time last night and it was packed, rightfully so! So many amazing flavors for literally everyone, fun options for kiddos, anyone with diary restrictions or is vegan has options to! Walk up and drive through so no matter what the weather you can enjoy. 10/10 will be choosing this place for dessert very often now that it's open. Ice cream is sooooooooo good and creamy! Will be back soon. Tons of flavors to choose from and even had a Dino ice cream for my son

Omg this was the best ice cream I've ever had in my 45 years on this earth! Today they were metro booming and the wait was worth every minute to the second! Bruster's has been on peoples mind forever because it took a long time to open. Finally on March 14th it's opens and what I will say is it's really tasty and the ice cream is fresh because homemade ice cream melts faster. Just a heads up, it is expensive so be ready to spend between 6-8 dollars per person. The people working there were really nice and helpful. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

Let it be known that I am not an ice cream person nor do I crave ice cream as a dessert. Now, let me tell you about the time I became an ice cream person but only for this ice cream. This is a walk up window or drive thru ice cream establishment so I imagine they would be busier in the summer. The staff are quick with the orders. They offer so many flavors and of course have classic menu items like shakes and sundaes. I also applaud them for having non dairy options to try and cater to a broader audience. I have fallen in love with two flavors here and have gotten it 4 times in a month which is a lot. I order the same thing: two scoop cup of graham central station and southern banana pudding. Graham central station is graham flavored ice cream studded with chocolate chunks. Southern Banana Puddin is banana flavored ice cream with Nilla wafers throughout. Both flavors are executed so well. It's not overly sweet and it is true to its flavor without tasting artificial or like a chemical. These two flavors are incredible. Graham central station has that perfect toasted nuttiness you expect from a graham cracker and is balanced by semi sweet chocolate chunks but it is not overpowering. Southern banana puddin has that banana flavor right on the spot but it's subtle and just enough. It's like an essence of banana and combined with that softened Nilla wafer is such a treat. I love this combo together since it kind of tastes like a banana cream pie. I have recommended this combo to everyone and they have all loved it. Give it a shot you won't regret it. read more

I was actually excited to see a new place open up and one that actually makes its own ice cream, I also expected the portion size to be fair. One scoop is literally just one average scoop, I ordered 2 scoops and the ice cream scoops were so small they didn't even touch the sides of the little cup it came in. I know ice cream is an expensive treat and I'm fine with overpaying but I really expected better. read more

Okay at best. It's new. I ordered a peanut putter cup sundae and it was around $9.50. It doesn't come with peanut butter cups.... Just ice cream, a little peanut butter topping and a ton of whipped cream, I'm assuming to make it look bigger. My daughter loved her birthday cake and my husband and son ordered blasts and both were okay. They expected them to be thicker. My husband it was like a shake with a mixin. Hopefully this is not the norm. read more

Our party of 8 enjoyed this new ice cream place. The oat milk options were great for two of our lactose-intolerant friends - they loved both the raspberry white truffle and Oreo cookies and cream. The berry cheesecake and banana flavors were very good as well. The coffee chocolate chip was ok. Service was very fast. Lots of parking spots. Could foresee this being a very popular hangout in the summer. read more

YUM!!! Tried 3 different flavors and they were all tasty. The ice cream itself was not super sweet and the added ingredients tasted fresh. Hard to pick a fave but white truffle was amazing. The nuts tasted fresh and crunchy still, unlike most nuts that start getting a bit gummy from sitting in the cream for too long. You can really taste the difference because of the freshness. I usually don't like cookies and ice cream but the cookie craze just might change my mind. Weirdly addictive! read more
