This small DQ located along Redlands Blvd can be easily missed. There is very limited seating inside but plenty outside. There is only 2 staff there. The service is not the best. There are no restrooms. The place was messy with napkins all over. The dessert was good but that's just standard DQ. I'm glad I used the app to save lots of money.

Was craving a blizzard. Haven't had one in years. Hours say 11AM but doors are locked. Can see employees inside. Called twice. second time someone answered and said they're open but the doors are locked. Employee was nice but this is frustrating. Update: decided to try again today after not visiting for two years. Ordered a chocolate malt. Was handed a vanilla milkshake with a dash of chocolate. Told the lady uh this looks kinda white for a chocolate milk shake. She added more chocolate and I'm still pretty disappointed in the shake and it is indeed not malty. I give up. I'm just gonna go to Baskin Robins down the street for a milkshake at least it tastes like what I ordered.

I thought I've written a review for this DQ before but apparently, I forgot. DQ is a place where you go when you don't want to just eat the ice cream you bought sitting in your freezer. Why? Because of the unique combinations that they create for their Blizzards. We found parking in front, which we were happy instead of parking behind the store. Only one customer was a head of us, which meant we would get our order pretty quickly. My son got the medium size Oreo fudge brownie, and I got the small size Salted caramel truffle off the New Blizzard menu. My son loved his order because they had two items he loves: Oreo cookies and chocolate fudge brownies with ice cream. I loved the caramel. As soon as we made our order, the line behind us suddenly grew. They have a small area at this location to eat, but we just took our orders to go. Come by and enjoy the nostalgic feeling of ice cream shakes.

Overall I rate this Dairy Queen a decent place to grab some ice cream. I ordered a reese's pieces blizzard. It was prepared quick, the staff working provided excellent customer service, located in a decent area and the blizzard was pretty dam good.

Dear Dairy Queen, thank you for the free ice cream cone yesterday. I really enjoyed having a vanilla ice cream flavor. I would love to go back to this place again with my family's or my friends. Thank you for the ice cream cone!

Liquid nitrogen theater meets serious small-batch craft…read more If you're strolling down Citrus Avenue in downtown Redlands after dinner, the billowing clouds of liquid nitrogen vapor rolling across the counter at À La Minute are almost as impossible to walk past as are the lines of patrons that extend well outside the store on a typical night. What sets this spot apart isn't just the sci-fi preparation (science and art together) --it's the noticeable difference in texture. Because the liquid nitrogen flash-freezes the cream almost instantly, the ice crystals never have a chance to grow. The result is an exceptionally dense, velvety-smooth scoop that standard churned ice cream simply can't match. The flavors reflect a real commitment to fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Staples like Salted Caramel hit that perfect balance between savory and sweet without tasting artificial, while seasonal options like Strawberry Balsamic show off their creative side. The Avocado Honey flavor comes with a nice garnish of a waffle chip adorning the rim. However, my all-time favorite for over a decade of customer-hood has to be the caffeine boost from the espresso chip. Pacing & Tips: Because every single order is mixed and flash-frozen from scratch right before your eyes, lines can back up out the door on weekend evenings. It moves at a steady pace, and enjoying the process is half the fun. Grab a bench nearby along Citrus Ave to enjoy it before it melts! Pro tip: the Crepes of Wrath spot down the street has some great-tasting crepes that pair well with any chosen ice cream from A La Minute.

Not a huge menu but they had a good mix of both classic and unique flavors which I appreciated. I thought the mini size was a good amount of ice cream and I could've shared just that with another person since I wasn't in a huge ice cream mood. The ice cream here is def pretty thick and creamy which I liked Avocado: 4/5 this was very fresh and I liked the ice cream itself a lot. Didn't love the honey on too but that's just personal preference Salted caramel: 4/5 slightly too salty for me but my boyfriend thought it was perfect

I completely understand and respect having a "customers only" policy for your seating area,…read moreespecially during busy times when paying customers need somewhere to sit. However, I was really disappointed by how that policy was handled tonight. My 4-year-old daughter and I sat down briefly at one of the outdoor tables and were asked to leave because we were not customers. For context, it was a Wednesday around 7 PM, approximately 97 degrees outside, and the business was nearly empty. There were multiple open tables both inside and outside, so we were certainly not preventing a paying customer from having a seat. Again, I understand the policy. What I don't understand is the lack of discretion or basic hospitality in enforcing it under these circumstances--particularly toward a parent with a small child in extreme heat. We weren't a large group taking over the patio, creating a disturbance, or occupying the last available table. Sometimes good customer service is knowing when a rule needs to be enforced and when a little kindness costs absolutely nothing. Unfortunately, this experience ensured that while we weren't customers tonight, we won't be customers in the future either.

Bahama Bucks, the last of its name in Southern California, is, on my opinion, the best shaved ice place. Period. Been to multiple locations on Oahu and Maui as well, and I'll still take Bahama Bucks. What makes it so different? It's the shaved ice itself. It's just different, once the tutoring touches it, the texture changes to this smooth, almost creamy, texture, yet still shaved ice. And with a plethora of flavorings, and the it's I've tried (Cherry, Strawberry, Mango, Pink Lemonade, Tigers Blood), it just transforms into this luscious dessert. There are also around five different sizes you can get. The small is a good size for I've person, though the regular will be here if you're hungry. Bigger than that and it is made for two people. We ordered a shack burger with caramelized onions, a double shack burger, and the new west coast fries. I actually preferred the regular shack with crispy onions since the caramelized onions made it feel a little heavier. The west coast fries were good but it was a little heavy. The tropical mango shake was definitely my favorite. It was refreshing with the perfect amount of tartness. The tropical mango lemonade was also really refreshing. Shake Shack is one of the most consistent burger chains for me. The food is always solid and the service is quick no matter which location I visit.

Getting Right To the Point: - WILDLY OVERPRICED…read more- MEDIOCRE FOOD. I've said this before and it is worth stating again: I always have a problem whenever I pay for food that I could have made better myself. If it is a matter of convenience, I could even understand that you may pay a little more (e.g. Starbucks McDonald's, etc.). At Shake Shack, we paid $60 for a family of three. We ordered a Shack Burger, Chicken Burger and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Sides were a Onion Rings, Fries and a shake. For the same food at Red Robin, this comes out to approximately $45, for better food and larger quantities. My burger literally fit into the palm of my hand. The chicken sandwich was dry. The rest was OK, but not great. Overall - Red Robin, Famous Dave's and Applebee's easily win over Shake Shack. THE BOTTOM LINE: We would have happily paid $60 for the food. The problem being that, if you're going to charge premium costs, you had better "bring it" with the food. Mind you: right next door is Sosogu Ramen & Japanese BBQ, Amoi Mok Mok, J Riley and the Redlands Public Market - all of whom have better food for lower prices. With average ratings of 3.5 across the board in all locations, I just don't see Shake Shack keeping up with the competition - but this is merely a personal observation. Sorry - just being honest.
