Stopped in today 9/24 with our grandchildren! Place was very very clean and employees very nice! Placed our order and we had a sest and when it was ready the young man brought our meals to us. He also came back several times to check on us to see if we needed anything! I asked this young man if he was the manager and he said oh no I am only 16! I tell you this young man was so polite and will do great as he grows as long as he stays positive and work orientated! Good luck to this young man! Very proud. read more

I periodically go here to get a salad. First was not to happy they did away with the non breaded chicken. And continued with the most unhealthy one full breaded and fried. Also I have made calls to the owner and district manager of the restaurant for them to consider a much healthier salad. They use the iceberg garbage lettuce. Big chunks and end pieces sometimes in my salad with no care. No spinach no healty lettuce. They do add tomatoes. Some cheese and bacon bits. For taste. So yesterday and a few other times. My salad was discusting. All iceberg no good lettuce. Barely any cheese two small shredded tomatoes. Their was a line and I am afraid of them doing something to a new salad. So I just threw it out. It's almost 8 dollars. I am done. I started going thier because the salads at wendys are much better and at least their are greens in it. But the go to salad I went to for a year was discontinued. But I will keep looking for another place. I just cannot believe I settled for wendys gross mess. Dairy Queen Grill & Chill with drive-thru opened recently on the former Movie Gallery site on Loudon Road in the Heights. Dairy Queen was in Concord many years ago, just down the road where Arnie's is now. There definitely will be competition between the corporate and mom&pop for ice cream and food on Loudon Road. However, Arnie's offers homemade hard ice cream and lots of BBQ favorites, which is very good. This Dairy Queen store serves up their signature ice cream and Blizzard treats, chicken baskets, burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, fried foods, salads, and Coke fountain drinks. They also sell ice cream cakes and frozen treats in the glass freezer. There is indoor seating in the dining room which has TVs and company history on the walls. There is also outdoor seating and ample parking. This DQ will be open all year round too. The creamy soft serve ice cream cones dipped in cherry sauce and the Blizzards are very sweet! I can also get my $5 & $6 Buck Lunch (served all day) fix here too and not have to travel to Manchester and Tilton for my short lunch break. I stopped into the new Concord DQ for lunch. The place was pretty busy. I ordered the Frosted Brownie Blizzard ($4.02 small), which was all set in about 6 minutes, they gave me a plastic number for my order. The Blizzard was cold and dense, could initially hold upside down without dripping, but the ice cream soon melted so I had to enjoy my very sweet treat right side up. read more

We've been to many DQs between Virginia and here but this was easily the most efficient and cleanest in memory. The food was brought to the table in a flash, even during the noon rush and the staff was everywhere, cleaning tables and floors, even the glass doors. Felt a really weird vibe in here. Cashier avoided eye contact, no smile, and I had to say hello twice before being greeted. I'm usually not picky about being serviced but after I tried to place my order, the cashier basically had a meltdown. It went - me: "Hi can I have the chicken tenders basket please." Cashier: "-huff and eye roll- um yeah if I can get my register on." And storms away to speak with another employee. Eventually she came back and managed to get her register on but she seemed very put out to be dealing with customers. After ordering, we waited 5 minutes at most which would have been great except when we got our food the fries were barely warm and stale and the "toast" in the basket was cold buttered bread - no toasting to be had. The only good aspect of this visit was the blizzard, which was delicious and reminiscent of hot childhood days on the beach with a DQ ice cream. There aren't any Dairy Queen's where I live, so I was very excited to find this one on a trip in the white mountains. I would stop again but only for a blizzard and wouldn't chance the food again. As for the service, I hope the cashier was just having a rough night, but from the looks of how she treated us and a few other customers we saw, it may be regular behavior. Went to Concord location on 4/18/19. While the counter person Arianna was pleasant, the shift supervisor was rude to us and not doing her job. Arianna needed some assistance, yet the shift supervisor was too busy on her phone with the other staff laughing and talking in front near the soda dispensers. The woman on the drive thru line tried to help, but wasn't able to leave her spot to provide assistance. We almost left. If this is how the shift supervisor behaves, then I can only imagine the conditions and cleanliness of the kitchen. The sitting area table were a mess as well. The shift supervisor should be doing her job and not talking and laughing on her phone with her staff at 5:15 in the afternoon. There were three other customer tables in the building plus the drive thru was busy. You lost two customers today and no referrals to ever come back. read more

The drive through had a tough time both times, getting the orders done right. The blizzards weren't mixed well the first time and made wrong the second time.
