If I could give zero stars, I would. This was hands-down the worst Dairy Queen experience I've ever had, and probably one of the worst fast food encounters period. The staff here seem like they were doing everything in their power to avoid serving customers. No urgency, no courtesy, no clue. It's like customer service was a foreign concept. I waited over 1 HOUR for my food. One chicken strip basket. Nothing crazy. The manager finally came to the front after we waited for an hour and me and another girl in the same situation told him what had happened. He was very kind a respectful and was able to fix it for us immediately and offer us some free ice cream. He was the only proper employee in the whole building. Save yourself the time and sanity. I highly recommend this establishment if you enjoy sitting in a Dairy Queen in the middle of no where for over an hour to get a blizzard and a large fry. The staff was avoidant to any assistance and extremely slow. Time management and efficiency was NOT being used. At this point, I could've went back there and done it myself and gotten my food out faster than the service that was being done. I heard multiple families complaining about the service and even bonding on how awful their experiences were. They would let the food sit under the two hot lamps, forget about it, and then let it get cold. Every single customer had to come up to the counter to REMIND THE CASHIER TO GET OUR FOOD. When I asked him if he could check on our ice cream he said, "Oh boy." Brownstown, please do better with who you employ for your only "restaurant" in town. First time visiting since the remodel. The drive thru lane was backed up almost to the road. I decided to go in. I was impressed with the new look, however the overall experience did not make up for it. The young man who was at the register was not the most friendly. But was kind enough to list out all the products they were out of while sounding like Eeyore the entire time. His body language radiated that he hates his job, but maybe he had a hard day. Considering he had to tell everyone that they were out of anything strawberry related, and they had no chocolate and no burgers, might explain his mood. The food I ordered was hot and delicious. The ice cream was good as well. The lobby was decent, however they were out of coke and napkins. The women's bathroom desperately needed attention!! I went in to wash my hands and the bathroom smelled horrible. The handicap door was open and there were feces smeared all over the toilet and wall. Dairy Queen is probably the best fast food in Brownstown. The people who work here are really friendly and the food is good. It's burgers, fries and ice cream - if that's what you're looking for you'll find a lot to like. They stay pretty busy, so you may find yourself waiting a bit in the drive thru at busy times, but the food is so much better than McDonalds it's worth it. read more

I got a Oreo blizzard today but there were no Oreos in it just vanilla ice cream so I had to go to the store buy Oreos and add my own.

The Brownstown Dairy Queen has a very good soft serve chocolate ice cream. I go there once each day to get a soft serve chocolate ice cream cone. They only have it available one out of three or four days. This is certainly not a way to keep customers coming back. read more

This restaurant is a joke. I took my logging crew to eat there and I was the first to order and never received my food. Everyone else ate and I went back up there to ask about it and they just didn't know what happened. On any count I paid for the sweet tea they gave me when I ordered and they refunded me for the rest. They couldn't figure out what happened and didn't even bother to apologize for forgetting about me.... I know fast food work is a hard job but come on let's get real here.
