My customized banana split was excellent!  No need to be normal - use chocolate ice cream and use different toppings.  They are very accommodating. The employee who took my order was friendly and engaging.  He made me feel welcome.  There is a lot of seating in the restaurant, and most of it is separated to provide privacy in sections. There is also a large, well-lit parking lot.

7 foot tall ice cream cone.

It was free ice cream cone day and it was crazy with cars wrapped around the restaurant waiting in line. I went inside and the place was jammed full with over 25 people in line. As I waited the line moved quickly and servers were bringing out dipped cones by the bucket full of all colors. Red, blue, brown and white. Food was being served quickly. I only waited a short time ordering tacos, a burger, a dipped cone and yes a free one to go. This isn't typical old, outdated DQ. New, clean, modern, excellent service, organized, and the burger, tacos fries and cones were very good. And, they had a 7 foot tall ice cream cone walking around outside to pose for pictures! Great experience.

I really wanted to get a choclate dipped cone after so many years of not having one near me. I was able to get one in a cup and for the size and price was a better deal than Baskin Robbins. This location is very clean and the employees were cheerful and helpful. Rhe atmosphere was calm as it should be. Parking was easy. I'd come back.

First time I've been to DQ in a while, to my surprise I was in the mood for something hot instead of cold so this review's for the hamburger and fries. This location's in an odd spot. Unless you're coming westbound on the 1431, this is a very difficult place to get to, as you have to go through a hotel's parking lot and weave in and out of several buildings. Still, parking is not a problem. Service was fast and friendly. Floors were sticky, but that might have just been bad timing as they were starting to clean it by the time I got my food. I ended up getting a Belt-Buster combo, which came out reasonably fast and fresh. I can't put DQ burgers at the top of my list for fast-food choices, but the patty would give McD's a run for its money. Toppings and bun were fresh, fries a bit soggy. On the whole, a well run place, I'd visit again. This place scores a 4 out of 5 on the 'CTJ Scale', as noted below. 5 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Jesus good. Would be OK passing away after finishing a plate here. 4 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Mary good. Would be OK having a nosh here with Mother Mary. 3 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Joseph good. Would be OK having a beer here with Jesus' Dad. 2 out of 5 stars: Come-to-the-Apostles good. Meh. Wouldn't have my last supper here. 1 out of 5 stars: Come-to-Nobody good. I wouldn't have my penultimate supper here, either.

I happen to really like this location. Staff is generally always super friend. Food, while fast food is generally better than other fast food places. I even had a DQ taco and it was good. Place is super clean which is always nice. Bathrooms are also clean which is really a plus for parents with young children. The ice cream is good and what you'd expect. Also had a cheeseburger and gotta say, it's right there with WhatAburger and blows MDs out of the water.

I was very disappointed to find out that my "Oreo & banana" blizzard had tiny sprinkles of Oreo and three small pieces of bananas. The Oreo and bananas blizzard is my to go purchase every time I go to a DQ but at this location they fell short. Needless to say, I will not return to this store

Steak Finger Basket - 4 piece

We hadn't had DQ in a while so we decided to have it for dinner. We got a 4 piece Steak Fingers basket, a Belt-Buster with cheese combo and a small Apple Pie blizzard. The total came out to ~$22. We really enjoyed the Belt-Buster with cheese. The burger was massive (in comparison with other fast food restaurants)! The cheese was melted on perfectly, the toppings were all fresh and the buns were extra soft! The steak fingers were also good and crispy. Fries were a little thicker than other places and didn't get too soggy in the travel time. The Apple Pie Blizzard was delicious!! It had little pieces of apple, small bits of cookie that reminded me of pie crust and caramel bits. Personal preference, I'd enjoy less caramel bits and more of the apple and cookie but would definitely get again. Drive through took less than 5 minutes. Overall good food for a fast-food restaurant.

Incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a great experience (even the kids!) That level of care and hospitality makes all the difference and keeps us coming back. Great food, outstanding service, and a fantastic owner--Culver's is the place to go! Ambience is a clean and nicely decorated indoor seating and there is outdoor seating as well, if wanted. The staff here was amazing. Super friendly. They gave recommendations for first timers and brought the food to the table whether to go or eating in the restaurant. Just a great experience all the way around. Food was awesome. Burgers cooked perfectly, well seasoned, and assembled with care. Fries were so good and chili cheese fries made the right way with cheddar cheese sauce not throwing shredded cheese on top. And Culver's chili? Wow - a league of its own. Tasted like a diner I'd been to on the west coast. Super good! Definitely coming back and oh - the frozen custard. Take some pints home if you're full. You won't regret it!!!

"WANTED SOME PROTEIN-STYLE BURGERS"…read more The other day, my lovely wife and I wanted some Protein-Style Burgers, and the best place for these is at In-N-Out Burger. Unfortunately, San Angelo does not have an In-N-Out, but there are a few places around here that do offer some sort of Lettuce Wrapped Burgers, but they are just not the same. So, we did the next best thing: we took a Road-Trip to Cedar Park, Texas, to enjoy the Best Protein-Style Burgers EVER. This In-N-Out is only 193 miles away and makes for a nice day-trip in under 3 hours - one way. It's also a beautiful drive through this part of Texas. Arrived just after 11 am, and there are already a good number of people here, especially at the drive-thru. Joanna took our order: 1 Cheeseburger, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomato, Pickles, and their sauce, also with Ketchup & Mustard. I am having the Double-Double, Protein Style, with Onion, Tomato, Pickles, and the sauce, also with Ketchup & Mustard. And we asked for 2 small drinks. My wife told Joanna that she is beautiful, and I totally agree. Filled up our drinks, Nancy grabbed a table, and I waited for our order at the bench. In-N-Out always has a lot of employees behind the counter, with each one doing their specialty. Soon our number was called, and these Protein-Style Burgers look delicious. Every In-N-Out we have been to, including out-of-state ones, always makes their Burgers the same - lots of wrapped Lettuce with a couple slices of Tomatoes and an entire slice of Onion (not slivered or pieces), with lots of Pickles. There is nothing like a nice Crisp Bite, and these Burgers provide that with every bite - and they are Very Sloppylicious with plenty of Sauce, Ketchup & Mustard. The Patty itself is perfectly seasoned and is very tasty. Lots of juiciness on the napkins below. No French Fries this time, just reducing our carbs for a while, and I love them with lots of Cheese on top. Since this is a Road-Trip, we decided to enjoy some more, went back a little later and ordered another Double-Double, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomato, & Pickles with plenty of sauce (no ketchup or mustard this time). Also, Two-Cheeseburgers, Protein-Style, with Onion, Tomatoes, Pickles, and the sauce (with no ketchup or mustard). Caleb took our order this time, and the wait did not take very long - here's our food. These are also Perfectly Protein-Styled, wrapped with the same Crisp Crunch of the Lettuce and the tastiness of the Burgers. And they are Very Sloppylicious. For us, Protein-Style is the way to go - and we are happy we went. The drive back was as beautiful as the drive over, especially with full tummies. Grab someone you care about and take a Road-Trip to an In-N-Out somewhere, and enjoy a Protein-Style Burger of any size, on Menu or Off-Menu. Road trips are fun, and going anywhere with my lovely wife is always a pleasure. Thank You Baby for another Tastylicious Outing. Love You Bunches & Protein-StyleMunches.

Negatives: -Order taker/server's heavy accent very difficult to understand. -A la carte; no combos. Side portions (tots) are enough for two people we found out after ordering. -Didn't realize the burgers come with 4 Hawaiian slider rolls as the bun; we ordered off the wall menu behind the counter. Upon picking up the burger, the 4 rolls immediately broke apart as did the hamburger patty. Ended up being a "hamburger salad". -Cheeseburger comes with pickles; found jalapeños instead, on the bottom. - Coke at the fountain tasted like Diet Coke, thought maybe the lines were crossed. Server tried it and also at the bar then checked in the back and said "out of Coke." Impressions: Didn't care for slider rolls in place of a burger bun, as it makes for a big fall-apart mess. Sweet Hawaiian comes in actual hamburger and hotdog buns!! More negatives than positives so we don't plan on going back.

From the moment you walk in, the experience is noticeable. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming without feeling overdone or impersonal. It strikes that balance where you can grab a quick meal or actually sit down and enjoy your time there. The staff sets the tone immediately. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged, not just going through the motions. You can tell there's intention behind the service, and that matters. The food is where they really separate themselves. Everything came out fresh, hot, and exactly how it should. The burgers were flavorful, well-balanced, and cooked right. Not greasy, not sloppy, just done right. The crinkle-cut fries had that perfect crisp on the outside with a soft interior, and the shakes were exactly what you want them to be, rich without being overwhelming. It's one of those meals where nothing feels like an afterthought. Every item holds its own. What stood out just as much as the food and service was the environment they've created. There's a clear sense that this is a place where people are welcome, period. Inclusive, respectful, and comfortable for everyone walking through the door. That kind of atmosphere doesn't happen by accident. It reflects leadership, culture, and a commitment to doing things the right way. In a time where people pay attention to how businesses treat others, that matters just as much as what's on the menu. And that's really what this place gets right. It's not just about good burgers. It's about consistency, quality, and creating an experience people actually want to come back to. Whether you're stopping in after work, grabbing a quick bite, or bringing friends or family, it holds up. If you're in Cedar Park and haven't checked it out yet, it's worth your time. And if you have, you already know exactly what I'm talking about.
