Daily Eats is like a neighborhood diner where all the locals go. It feels so homey and the food it delicious. I love how they have all the classics but of course have some much welcome twist. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I got the cap'n cluck bowl and it hits. Scrambled eggs on top of Cap'N Crunch french toast, handmade buttermilk chicken tenders, drizzled with Sriracha honey. I mean when you want a hearty breakfast that has a little sweet a little heat some crunch. Perfection!! My son had the breakfast sandwich with eggs, bacon and cheese. He said it was great!! He really loved the home fries. We also got cheesy tater tots no oic cause we devoured them so fast lol. read more

Be warned -- parking is limited and wait times could be long. Came here for brunch. Arrived around 11:30 and wait was 40 minutes! Limited seating outside to wait for your table. Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating available. We sat outside and despite it being a hot day, remained cool with the covered awning and fans going. This place is SMALL. Smaller than I expected and boy does it get the crowd. It's part of the Ciccio family of restaurants so how can it not be good. I'm ranking a solid 3.5. Everyone's food was good, I think the winner was the tater tots and the sauce and the potatoes that came with the egg sandwich. They have gluten free options on their menu which was great for my friend that had a gluten allergy. I ordered the Traditionalist which is eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The ham was oddly cut into small pieces and layered on top of the muffin. The hollandaise lacked flavor. This was just ok, actually bland to where I had to add salt. Hubs got the Mexican bowl which was tasty but not appealing to me. Friend got the egg sandwich and potatoes. She said the sandwich was delicious and the gluten free bread didn't have any aftertastes. The tater tots were crisp and not greasy. The sauce was like crack lol.....using it on the Mexican bowl, tots, and potatoes! Don't know what it is but man it's good! It tasted similar to the bloomin onion sauce you get at Outback. I think I'll give the place another chance. After all I DO want to try the Captain Crunch French toast. Is just come earlier to hedge the crowd. read more

Trendy, young, busy...yeah, that's SoHo-and it's also, Daily Eats. It's a diner with some vintage flair and a wink to the genre. Unpretentious-but self aware... and with a great menu. Ok, that's the vibe-orange vinyl booths and chairs, small inside with a small patio-parking next to the building and across the street. It can get busy any day-especially weekends-but the two weekday mornings we've been there, we were seated right away. Fun servers both times-seemed to enjoy their jobs and the customers-that's always a huge plus... and they were attentive/efficient without rushing or hovering. Yay! Now, for the food (thanks for waiting so long!) I ordered the Captain Crunch French toast-both times. They love the Captain here-he shows up in a few dishes-and I'm all for it. Such a unique and satisfying dish-which I paired with bacon and fruit. I know I should sample the rest of the menu-it's a fun one-but I can't get enough of this item. You guys understand, right? Definitely expected more from an egg scramble bowl. This was definitely a spinach salad with eggs on top and two slices of American cheese for $15... Been here a few times and food is good however, this was not up to the quality this place typically provides. read more

Love Daily Eats. I am actually surprised I haven't done a review for them before. I always eat outside because it's a vibe and it's Florida. Wouldn't suggest on a rainy day, the patio is pretty slim and limited walk space. Outside probably isn't the best idea for wheelchairs but you could definitely make it work. Inside is set up like a cute diner, bar and booth tables. I love their CapNCrunch French Toast. I always order at least one every visit. They offer it in one of their bowls, too: "CapNCluck" with chicken and honey. They offer, in my opinion, the most mimosa flavors in Tampa: Desert Pear, Orange, Strawberry, Cranberry, Grapefruit, Blueberry, Watermelon, (&more) and also has the best mimosa deal after. After 2pm, 2$ mimosas until 7pm everyday. They are regularly priced at $4.50. They offer bowls, breakfast, lunch, CYO omelette and bowls, and surprisingly good coffee. They are known for their shakes - which I have yet to try. On a busy day, parking can be hectic in their designated parking lot but there is parking across the street. read more

The service here is very good just like any other CRG restaurant. However, their food is OK but not ever super flavorful. My boyfriend had the breakfast burrito and he had to ask for salsa there really wasn't that much flavor to it and my French toast was very basic. We also got the Matcha latte and the chai tea latte and they tasted very bland. I have had their cold brew in the past two and it's also a little too acidic for me. Overall for a breakfast place there's not much here that I would recommend and I wish they had more options that had chicken in it for breakfast but it's very limited. But if you are looking for a diner vibes and good services and very basic breakfast, you can certainly get it here. read more

Simple food that packs some flavor- Daily Eats is an easy-going title for a restaurant that matches the vibes and makes it fun. This is exactly the kind of restaurant you'd expect to find in SoHo of Tampa- trendy, young, and busy. We came for brunch and it was hip-hopping. The menu was even young and fun- there is Captain Crunch fried chicken among other unique options. Our food was good. It wasn't fancy or high quality necessarily but it tasted fantastic, especially the sweet cereal coated chicken (it actually works well) mixed with the savory eggs. I'd come back again and again just for that. The downside is that the restaurant is so small. We were fortunate to get a table in the small outdoor seating area, but even walking inside made me feel claustrophobic because of how small and tight it is. This also means it's a longer wait time with less room for patrons. The service alongside this could also be a little better. Our waiter was super busy which caused him to seemingly forget us at times. I get when it's busy it's a tough job, but a truly good server won't ever make you feel how busy it is. read more

I don't know how many times I have passed Daily Eats and been in the area but had never stopped to eat. It is a known staple in Soho so I have zero excuses. I love that their menu is all day and when looking over everything their French toast sounded good even though it was lunch time. I just love breakfast so I can eat it at any time of the day. Personally, I do not eat that much per meal and my eyes are definitely bigger than my stomach so it was great to see that I could get a half order (2 halves) which is really the perfect amount for me. I also ordered their sangria which tasted like fall in a mason jar glass. It was a spiced apple with grannie smith apple pieces and a cinnamon stick garnishment. There was a slight miscommunication with my waiter while ordering and he had originally asked me how I wanted my grits with the French toast, which I was didn't think came with it since I was only getting the half order, but he said it did. I really don't eat grits but since he said they came with it, I said I'd have it with cheese. When the food came out, he also brought the bill and I saw that the grits were added onto it. I spoke with him about it since I mentioned it during the ordering process and even said I don't eat them but since they came with it, I'd try them with cheese. He quickly apologized for the misunderstanding and took them away and off the bill for me. If it had been an item that I enjoy, I would have just kept them and ate them it grits are just not my thing. His attitude and quick actions were super appreciated and conveyed several times. read more

I went for a Saturday breakfast. It was busy but the wait wasn't too bad. Service was great and everyone enjoyed their meal. French toast was fluffy and even tasted delicious without syrup. Sweet potato hash was a great alternative to regular hash. Bacon cheese grits- do not recommend. Great find for a Saturday morning breakfast. It was busy, but not too long of a wait time for 11 am. It is located in a great neighborhood with many restaurants within walking distance. I started with the peanut butter nitro coffee, it was absolutely to die for! For breakfast I had the Gigante, which was eggs, pancakes, toast, bacon and I chose cheesy bacon grits for my side. The grits were amazing! My husband had the bowl with chicken, eggs and Cap'n crunch French toast, which he said was really flavorful. They have a ton of different options, from eggs to pancakes and pretty much all of the breakfast staples you can think of. The drink list looked great too, the different flavors of mimosas sounded awesome. The service was great, the food was great and the atmosphere was great, what more can you ask for?! read more

Was in town from Orlando and was looking for a good brunch spot, and this was the place that kept popping up. I'm usually not one for breakfast food, but this place was great! We got the breakfast burrito and the cap' n crunch French toast and both were delicious! I couldn't stop talking about the burrito. It was so simple yet so good, and I loved every bite. The homemade breakfast potatoes were fantastic as well. The Cap' N Crunch French toast was good, but didn't taste a whole lot like the actual cereal. I was hoping for like big chunks of the cereal to give it that nostalgia taste, but it was still very good! Everything looked good. It was hard for me to make a decision as to what I should eat. Ultimately, I ordered some yogurt with honey and granola, along with avocado toast. It was so good that it will be hard for me to order anything else. However, I will have to force myself to explore the other options on the menu. The service was good. This is a cute spot in soho. Gets pretty busy which is usually a good sign. My tablemates enjoyed their food but my food was pretty dry. The chicken in the omelette and the pumpkin soup wasn't very flavorful. It was better once I jazzed it up with my travel seasonings. The Californian omelette just needed more seasonings and tender chicken. The chicken texture was similar to chicken that's left out under the lamp all day and then repurposed for another type of meal. Not pictured is a desert pear mimosa was was delicious. It's very sweet. Similar taste to grape juice. My companion really enjoyed the burger Mac and cheese. I forger what bowl they got but it had meat, cheese, lettuce and rice. Whatever bowl that was, he was very pleasantly surprised. The friend pickle was also bland. I've never had a pickle that tasted like a potato. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning, and it was about a 20 minute wait. We were seated, and there was a lot of movement around, but in a good way, it was lively and friendly. I ordered the captain crunch french toast which was amazing and the best french toast i've ever had and will definitely lead to me coming back. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito, which he said, was tasty as well. Service was great from start to finish. My waiter was very helpful in my ordering. As I wanted the honey Sriracha sauce on the side and he also was very quick anything wanted he was able to get. We ended up adding on the beet juice and the green juice, which were both very good (we ordered without ice to make sure we got as much juice as possible.) Will definitely be back and recommend to others. read more

Daily eats is one of my favorite restaurants! Their food is amazing whether you get breakfast or lunch, they have a ton of healthy and gluten free options. Staff is always so kind and helpful. Outdoor seating is nice and they have plenty of space inside even a bar top area which is good if you're needing a quick spot to eat. I cannot recommend this place enough! I usually get the Cap'n Crunch French toast but this time i got the gluten free chicken tenders, fruit and tots and to me it was the perfect meal! I hadn't gone to Daily Eats in years, but during a recent drop in to Tampa I found myself back at this hidden gem. My husband and I sat at the breakfast bar and have great food and exceptional service. We split the Captain Cluck chicken and the crispy bacon. The French toast was literally so good that we got an order to go!! The ambiance is very diner like but in a cute way. I wish the bathroom had maybe been a little cleaner, but otherwise the experience was so good! read more

For Sunday morning, we were looking for a place to have bunch and since Daily Eats was on our list to have Brunch we decided to have brunch from Daily Eats. When we reached Daily Eats we had to wait 30 minutes before we got our number and got seated at Daily Eats. We were soon greeted by our server with the menus. The menu consists of different options including different omelets, salads and house specialties. After checking out the menu we first ordered hot coffee and then for brunch we ordered Mexi Omelette along with avocado, sourdough bread and sweet potato fries, Cali Bowl and tater tots. The service was good and soon we got our order. We first had tater tots and sweet potato fries. Both were good and delicious. Loved the tots and fries. Then we had Mexi Omelette along with avocado and salmon was delicious and tasty. Omelette was cooked perfectly which made it delicious and finger licking. Then we had cali bowl which was also good and amazing salad bowl. Sourdough bread along with butter was also amazing and loved the butter too. We choose to sit outside as the day was sunny and breezy, We went in on a weekday and we still had to wait 20 min for a table. I had the cap t crunch bowl it was delicious The French toast, eggs and fried chicken all blends very well together, the spicy honey is delicious. I would prefer some maple syrup as well but it was good. The hubby enjoyed his meal as well, only thing missing was salt but it's cool that way it's to your liking. Can't wait to go back and try the mimosas and other menu items. read more

Love all of the shredder bowls and the hot honey sweet potato fries. The milkshakes are also great. I wish they brought back the variety of shredder bowls though. We've sat outside and inside and enjoyed, though outside is best to people watch. Also never had a bad server! read more

Had to try this place for an early breakfast after seeing the great reviews and several Instagram spotlights! We went on a Saturday morning just at opening time. Make sure to get there early if you don't want to be waiting! It seems like the Capn Crunch menu items are the big draw--so we tried them both! There is A LOT of food in each of the French Toast and the Capn Cluck Bowl. Be prepared to eat or at least share plates. We had a really amazing server who just got everything right and made this such a great experience. Try it out! read more

I received my bacon cheese grits with a wood screw in my bowl on Saturday 2/13/16 at 11:30am. I must say, I am very disappointed with the service provided at Daily Eats after notifying the waiter and manager Mike showing that I bit into a wood screw in which I have attached pictures. Being a normal patron at this restaurant for breakfast has me wondering what has happened to the level of service and quality of food? It's hard for me to not believe that this was not intentional that someone inserted a screw into the grits to possibly cause harm an individual. After biting into my grits and chewing something crunchy I split out everything to discover a screw on my plate. Several other patrons including me friend witnessed this. I was extremely upset that I could have broken my tooth or even swallowed the screw resulting in surgery. The waiter was in totally disbelief and informed that he has need witnessed anything like this. The manager on the other hand grab the plate and took it to the back and offered to remake my order in which I decline. Being in totally shock before I immediately left establishment the manager offer me a $40 gift card and apologized for what happened. After going home I had a stomach aches that resulted in me having extremely bowel movements which I am still trying to get over. I hope the upper management of Daily Eats see this review and speak with their staff on food preparation. I could have seriously been injured because of negligence on the restaurant's part. read more

This place is great. You want to talk about class. I will tell you about class. This place is class. The manager comes up to me at the end of my meal asks me how I was doing and thanked me for coming to their restaurant. Not only that, since I was a new customer they gave me a complimentary cookie for dessert. Oh hell to the yeah!! That is the personal touch that is missing from the majority of most businesses nowadays. With this kind of approach they are really going to go far. Now on to the food: I ordered the Tuna Taco. Now let me tell you I was a little taken back when my entree arrived and it wasn't a taco. But totally my bad for not having my glasses with me because the menu clearly states at the top of it, that this is a shredded bowl. Nevertheless it was absolutely delicious. I always have to give props to chefs who know how to mix a lot of different ingredients together and just make it come out superb. Not every place can do this. And the fact that the entree was healthy also makes me feel less guilty for loving it so much. Nice casual place for a delicious healthy meal and top notch customer service. read more

Yes please! I visited Daily Eats to write a review for my blog (currently writing it now) and as I expected, I wasn't disappointed. In fact, you can go to any restaurant in the Ciccio's Restaurant Group and I guarantee you'll enjoy your meal. I arrived at 9:30 in the morning on a Saturday for brunch and chose to sit on the front patio in the gorgeous weather. If it's a perfect morning, take advantage of patio seating! Daily Eats is pretty neat because it's like a diner so even if you don't sit on the patio, it's a nice feel inside as well. I ordered the Healthy JL and was blown away by the side of oatmeal. The side of oatmeal came with yogurt and granola, topped with strawberries and blueberries and drizzled with honey! The eggs were fluffy and the spinach mixed in the eggs was fantastic! I can't wait to go back for more! There are so many menu items that I wanted to try- if you want to do the same, plan for a minimum of 10 visits :) read more

I was visiting from out of town, and my friend had been raving about this place, so I was excited to try it. The usual wait is about 30 minutes, we went on a Tuesday late morning. When we were finally seated, we were placed in the back of their outdoor area, and the table was a little messy. We mentioned it to our waiter, and they were genuinely sorry. We didn't expect anything, but they went above and beyond by offering us a bottle to make mimosas, which was such a nice touch. It really added to the experience, especially since it was our last meal together before heading home. As for the food, it absolutely lived up to the hype. Everything was cooked perfectly and super filling. If I lived in Tampa, I'd definitely bring people here for a brunch outing. A great spot for good food and a laid-back vibe. read more

Walking by The Daily Eats we were impressed by the old school look of it ,long dark counter with booths in a long narrow room. The opposite of a chain restaurant. I had the special of mushroom soup with a bacon and tomato sandwich. Both were delicious especially the soup that got tastier with each spoonful. My wife had the club which the waiter claimed they are known for. It was awesome with lots of real chicken,bacon and tomato. Both came with coleslaw. They have a small but interesting choice of draft and local beer ,old fashion milk shakes, root bear floats etc. Good service popular spot with the locals. I recently found out about Daily Eats and invited my girlfriend to lunch there so we could check out their gluten free options. It was just about to rain so we asked for a table inside, and were told there was a 5 to 10 minute wait. I looked over and noticed a booth was empty...when I asked the server she and a grey haired guy discussed for a few seconds, and then the grey haired guy turned to us and said sorry, that booth is being reserved for our larger parties. I'm a big fan of their Shredder Bowls. There's one in particular I order every time I visit. What I especially like about the bowls is that their healthy options. The Cheese Burger Bowl is my go to lunch and/or dinner choice. I up the healthy quotient by subbing beef with bison and add spinach. This dish has such great flavor to it and tastes so decadent yet it truly is a great high protein healthy option dish. Of the many times I've dined at Daily Eats the serve has always been good to very good. I highly recommend Daily Eats for brunch, lunch and dinner. read more

Went for the first time the other day and it was delicious! I ordered the chicken melt and my friends ordered one of the shredder bowls and an açaí bowl. Good portions for a great price...I want to try to shredder bowl next time...lots of flavor! My chicken melt was delicious, I got the coleslaw as my side but it was a bit bland. Definitely one of my favorite spots in town for breakfast. They are busy (for good reason) but always get you in fast and the staff is so friendly even when they have a lot going on. They remember your name and your order even after just a few times of being there. I live close and I have been coming in afew times a week for months now. Its a small yet cozy joint! Reminds me of a modern day diner, and the food is great. I thoroughly enjoyed the bowls that they had on the menu. What can I say besides this place is one I frequent often. This hip neighborhood diner is comfortable for conversation and a meal on your own while also a great place to meet for business or pleasure. The Steak and Eggs and French Toast bowls are awesome as are all the other items on the menu. You really can't go wrong here unless you purposely order something you don't like. In town for business this last weekend. Last day in town was Sunday and my colleagues insisted on taking me here for brunch to make up for the previous nights dinner experience at Frenchy's. Although there was a 30-minute wait for a table for three, the restaurant thoughtfully offered refreshing infused water while we waited, which was a unique and appreciated touch. If you visit Tampa, or live in South Tampa, then DE is a must! DE has some of the best breakfast bowls you will ever find. It's a small, quaint establishment that has a line out the door most weekend mornings. Those lines are there for a reason, the food is phenomenal and everyone who is anyone wants a seat inside. I just visited some friends in Tampa last week. We stopped in at Daily Eats every day that I was there. This place is awesome. I love the milk shakes, the pancakes are to die for and the waitresses are drop dead HOTT. If they had one of these in Nashville (where I live) I'd probably be there everyday. 10/10 will go straight back to Daily Eats when i get back to Tampa. read more

I ordered the gignate which was two eggs, bacon, pancakes and home fries. I was expecting a large meal, I was disappointed to see that it was a very small meal. The home fries were amazing, eggs were runny but tasted fine, the pancake (singular because I had to give my son one of mine because his portion was also tiny) was good, but nothing to write home about. read more

Grabbed a quick breakfast and the seating arrangement was a pleasant surprise! There was an area with a bench that ran all along the wall and the tables were separate it of course, so I ended up sitting next to a stranger and that was not terrible! Delicious! If you live anywhere in Tampa Bay or are visiting the area, Daily Eats is a MUST. This is one of the best place to eat in the entire city. They have everything from incredible breakfast bowls to mouth watering milk shakes. If you spend time in Tampa and don't try out Daily Eats, then you're probably a loser. read more

Such a great place to sit either inside or enjoy the patio covered outside and enjoy a real great breakfast, lunch or dinner! Their service is outstanding and are all so friendly! I'm glad Graze exists, because I feel like they have quite a few options that meet what I'm looking for. This time I got a kale Caesar with blackened Ahi tuna on it. The Ahi tuna was absolutely delicious. I found the kale Caesar had a bit too much sauce, it tasted extra cheesy to me, so I think this Caesar sauce which is homemade has quite a bit of cheese in it for those of you who may not be big cheese fans. What would have made this five stars is if it had less sauce, so next time I might ask for the dressing on the side so I can control putting it on myself. I appreciate that they text you when your order is ready so you can walk around, I was able to go back to my table and sit with the family until my order was ready. Some of the stalls do not open until 11 AM, but Graze opens before that, probably because they have breakfast options. If you're looking for a healthy place at Armature Works, I would highly recommend here.
