Good food and very friendly service. We were staying at a hotel in the area and tried going on a Sunday morning but there was a 40 min wait. We came back on a Tuesday and they sat us right away. Stumbled on the Daily Eats when looking for a quick dinner option! I love diners and Daily Eats was super cute. Parking is pretty easy to find nearby in a lot or on the street. There's seating indoors and outdoors and we were seated almost immediately, even at peak dinnertime. I had the Fiesta Bowl which was absolutely delicious with lots of cheese and good heat. We also shared an order of French toast which was also made super well and dusted with powdered sugar. I love the breakfast all day and also more typical diner lunch/dinner options. I was shocked when I heard that Daily Eats (a casual diner I would often drive by without stopping in) was a Ciccio Restaurant Group restaurant. If you don't know who CRG is, let me just quickly say that every single restaurant CRG touches is GOLDEN. You literally CANNOT go wrong at any of their restaurants... Hence when I found out that Daily Eats belonged to them, I absolutely had to try it! We came around 9am on a rainy Friday morning and were seated very quickly. The service was quick and friendly! I will say that around 9:30, swarms of people showed up and it seemed like they had to wait about 5-10 minutes for their tables (this popular place is totally worth the wait). My mom ordered the classic eggs benedict and subbed bacon for the ham - it was literally perfect. The english muffin was toasted just rightI and the hollandaise sauce was what dreams are made of. And of course, the eggs were poached to perfection. I ordered their famous captain crunch french toast - OMG this did NOT disappoint. It was everything I imagined it to be and more. And the portion was really big too. My mom and I couldn't stop raving about how good it is. Also, both our meals came with crispy homefries, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Place is too busy for the staff to handle. Service and quality is random. Tried the steak and eggs bowl, which ended up having virtually no steak. Given that they charge $17 for this bowl, I felt ripped off. The problem is that it's not obvious how little steak there is until after one eats plenty of it. You may think there is some hidden steak in the scrambled eggs, but there isn't. This is probably what the kitchen staff think too. Best breakfast I've had in a long time and I just took a road trip up the east coast and back!

I was pretty satisfied with this cute little place! I came at around 9 am on a sunday, and while it was almost full there was no wait. The inside is soooo cute! I especially love the look of the booths, and the tables outside also looked super inviting. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes (banana, candied pecans, peanut butter drizzle) with a side of oatmeal, and my partner got the cap'n cluck bowl. Just the right portion size for me, and I loved how chewy the pancakes were. The texture of the oatmeal was also just right for me, I personally prefer mine less soupy and this one was really nice and fluffy. While I do like the idea of the bananas and pecans being cooked into the pancake, I wish there was a few pieces of either sprinkled on top since it was a bit hard to taste their individual flavors. From what I tasted from my partner's cap'n cluck, I really liked how crispy the french toast was and so much flavor and sweetness was packed into even the tiniest of bites. On the other hand, I don't think I have anything notable to say about the chicken or eggs. Overall I was happy and full after my experience here, but I wasn't entirely in love with it. read more

This place is exceptional. I had Austin as my server who was SO nice, attentive, and provided exceptional recommendations (overnight oats with strawberries as a side were so good!). I sat outside and it was very comfortable seating with great music. The food was 12/10! I did a BYO omelette with broccoli, mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes with a multigrain bagel, cream cheese and overnight oats. It was to die for, every bite of it was exceptional. My wife and I were in town for a wedding, and we had an awesome brunch! The Eggs Benedict was superb, the hollandaise sauce was delicious, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The breakfast potatoes were perfect pillowy soft, and well seasoned. The Capn Crunch French Toast was SO SO GOOD. We arrived early on Saturday morning, got the last spot in the parking lot, and put our names on the small wait list. Turned out there were two spots open at the counter inside, so we decided to eat there instead. The counter person was extremely friendly and helpful, and in no time we had our order placed and coffee in front of us. I ordered The Lox breakfast bowl: scrambled eggs with scallion, red onion, and tomato, served over home fries topped with smoked salmon. It was also served with a side of scallion cream cheese, which quite frankly was odd, as there was no bread to spread it on. Regardless, the bowl was huge, and absolutely delicious. I love that they offered many flavors of mimosas, and the Mango mimosa I ordered about halfway through my meal came out quickly, and was quite perfect. They also have mimosa happy hour from 2 pm - 4 pm where they are only $2.50 instead of $4.50. Shakes and desserts are offered as well, but we were too full and hungover to try them. However, since the breakfast was so tasty, we definitely will be back to try their lunch. read more

My wife has celiac and they were very careful, have a separate fryer and really did an amazing job letting us know what was gluten free as well as any cross contamination.. I loved this quaint diner fashioned like an old Pancake House with the grill out in the open. It was definitely quite a few steps up, though, with outdoor dining and another dining room, too. It is modern and young but as an older patron I liked it. Great service by Emma! The food came out so fast. I've passed by and been told about daily eats so many times and I'm so happy I finally stopped in! Me and a friend went on a Saturday around 10:30 and had a ~15 min wait. We were sat at the bar inside. The inside and outside are pretty small, I'm excited to see if they'll expand anytime soon (they have the business to do so!) We had Kayla as our server and she was awesome. I ordered the New Yorker Benedict ($12.50). Wooooow so yummy!!! Lox, eggs and a really fresh salsa on top. My faveee mmmm. The only thing I didn't like was the bowl I ordered or my sister ordered, and maybe I caught the cooks on a bad day, because it was a crowds favorite. To me it just seemed thrown together. I have discovered the Ciccio group recently and I have been in love with their restaurants. the first one I tried was Taco dirty and I was hooked! I loveeee it. I didnt realize that my favorite restaurants were part of one group, I tried Green lemon, Luv Child. Then When I came to Daily eats since I had figured its part of this wonderful food, I had high expectations of the food but later to realize I did not want to return here because the food was disgusting! I had their Asian chicken salad with quinoa. It was recommended by the server so I decided to give it a try. I dont recall exactly what it was called but the taste was not fresh like I had in the other places and quality wasnt great either. I couldn't eat my food. I was very disappointed. We were here for a dinner. I was not having a high expectations to come to diner. However, they prove me wrong. This American diner definitely has it place in the soho area. We got shrimp pop boy. It has 11 shrimps count and mid size shrimp. Good value. I also like the yellow sauce add on it. Our second dish is the De Rueben. This is roast corn beef in the sandwich. The Russian dressing with the grilled toasted bread made this dish savory. Great bite to have. We choose the cucumber salad on the side go well with the sandwich. Our last dish is tuna taco. Mixed review here. Arrived Sunday 6/30 for brunch. Approx 10:30. We were added to the wait list and told that it would be 15mins. Fine, no prob. At 11:04 I receive 3 text messages. 1st is that there is a table. 2nd is asking if outside is okay. 3rd is that we've been removed from the list. I go in and ask for clarification. She said the messages were sent and that I had 5 mins to reply or give up my place. I showed her my phone and that all 3 came through at the same time. Her reply; "I sent it 5 mins ago". I get it, they just came through. All at the same time. Fine, whatever, we still want to be seated and she said she'd put my name back on the list. I ask if we were going to be put at the back of the line. She says, " I'll put you back on the list, it'll be a few mins ". Mind you there are now 25 people waiting. We just wanted to know if the wait was 5-10 mins or another 1/2 hour. She never said. We waited another 15 mins. We sat outside. Service was quick. Item I requested is no longer on the menu and isn't marked out. I order the Eggs Benedict ..ask for the chef to please break the yolk. Poached hard. Order comes, runny eggs. I scrape them off and wait for her to come check on us. 15 minutes and no sign. I finally flag her down. Her comment "well I did put it on the order". Yep, totally not blaming you. You didn't cook it. However, as a former server I know that you verify before bring out the order. I was nice to her and asked to please have 2 new eggs, please break the yolk. Also needed more hollandaise as all of it covered the 1st set and now I didn't have any. Gentleman brings out 2nd set of eggs, no hollandaise. Walks quickly away. Put one of the eggs on the plate, cut into it and it's runny. Scrape it to the side and check the second. It's doable. Server never comes back to refill bevs or check on us. Benny was also missing the red pepper flakes. However the avocado smash and bread were great: Should have just ordered the avocado smash toast because that's what I had, just for the price of the Benedict. My friend had French toast and potato's and said they were good. So, if you go, be careful with the text system and watch your phone. Don't expect a refill or your order to be correct but what you will get will taste pretty good. If I'm back in Tampa, we may go again. Not sure yet. read more
