Its good but nothing to rave about. They have combo but they will not substitute anything for something else. We dont like big intestines so we ended up ordering everything separately. Beer was super expensive but got 25% foam. The fried rice is good some days and some days it's not (too much butter). Not too consistent. I go when I crave some soju. Its good to eat with soju. Oh and if you have more than 6 people, they will auto add 20% tip, even if you are split up sitting at separate tables, getting 2 separate checks, lol.

We came on a Saturday evening with no reservation as a party of 2 and were seated immediately. We ordered the assorted intestine combo. It was a large portion for 2 people and good variety. The staff cooked the meat for us and came over frequently to make sure we could enjoy the meal properly. There's several choices of sauces to dip the meat in. I enjoyed the complimentary side dishes as well. It is a quiet restaurant that was not busy on a Saturday evening. The booth seating was comfortable and ideal for the meal. Although there is a large parking lot in front of the restaurant it is shared by other businesses in the plaza. It can sometimes take long to find a parking spot.

There is a large parking lot you can park at to get to the restaurant. It's attached to Meat Bros so when you go in they'll ask you which restaurant you want. I usually came during a lunch time on a weekday so it was never busy. The restaurant has lots of seats and it is very spacious. I love daegopchang (large beef intestines) so that is always my go-to here. There isn't many places that offer large beef intestines around the area but I would say the service and food here is much better than gopchang story in fort lee. They grill the meat fresh right in front of you and it could be a long process as gopchang takes awhile. The gopchang itself isn't seasoned much but they give you different kinds of sauces you can dip from which I like. At the end, I always get the fried rice with cheese and fish eggs! The best place around the area to satisfy my gopchang cravings.

Food: $$$ Pricey. Food taste good enough but for how much it's worth, I was expecting a little bit of the "wow" factor. It's a lot of fatty foots and unhealthy ones so I don't recommend eating this a lot unless you're immortal and super healthy to eat fatty foods often. Service: For starters, I like that they cook the food for me here. They took care ehat was needed without us asking. I really like that kind of service level. Ambiance. Busy but comfortable kind of busy. Only thing ie, expect to smell like grilled food on your way out. Not sure if exhaust are not good enough or it's really just because you're in front of the griller

I normally don't write reviews on Yelp, but I just have to mention my wonderful experience eating at Daehan Gopchang and give them the recognition they deserve. Our server's name was J.T. and let me just say, the service we received was ABSOLUTELY spectacular. A friend had highly recommended this spot and we decided to check it out as we are huge fans of gopchang places, but this was an unexpected find. I was surprised to see all the negative reviews but I can honestly say that from the moment my husband and I stepped foot through the door to the moment we left, we left as happy customers and would return in a heartbeat. As soon as we were seated, our server took down our order and began the "fire show," the main event where he grilled each of the various intestines, which we highly enjoyed. Alongside the intestines, we also had mushrooms, onions, sweet potatoes, leek, rice cakes, scallions, and kimchi to enjoy with the rest of our food. It was awesome seeing the process of how our food was cooked/flamed with a torch, and even nicer to see the big flambé at the end. Although it took some time for the intestines to be cooked thoroughly (~5-10 minutes), we actually really appreciated the attention and care that was put into grilling the food and in serving us. As far as the food, we ordered one portion of assorted intestine combo and one extra portion of gopchang, and everything was just phenomenal. My husband and I normally enjoy eating just the gopchang (small intestine) in general. But this place opened our eyes to the daechang (large intestine) and makchang (abomasum) for sure. The daechang was SOOO nice & crispy on the outside, but soft & juicy on the inside. And when I say juicy, I mean JUICY. It literally melted in my mouth. The makchang was so good too. The texture was on point and it just left us at a loss of words. Would DEFINITELY recommend trying both the daechang & makchang if you ever visit. And get the soju too!!! This combination is HEAVEN. There were four different sauces you could dip your intestines in: seasoning powder, garlic soy sauce, fruit sauce, soy sauce. We both personally liked the soy sauce best but would alternate between different sauces every now and then for a different tasting experience. I could definitely see how eating too much can lead to feeling really oily and greasy, as gopchang is originally a very fatty food. But eating the leek and kimchi alongside the intestines really helps neutralize the fat and oil. There is also white kimchi radish served on the side to help cleanse your palette. When we were finished with our main dish, we ordered the kimchi fried rice with tobiko and cheese. So let me just start by saying I usually have low expectations for fried rice made with leftovers. But I finished the whole thing in less than a minute! I kid you not, it was so SO delicious! And the portion size itself was just right. I've never had such excitement about fried rice before but omg... The total cost was around $30 per portion of food, but it was SO worth it. I recommend coming here during the daytime when it's less busy, because I had heard nighttime is crazy and service is less attentive. So thankful I was able to come here and find this gem. A huge shoutout to our server J.T. who probably played a huge role in our positive experience!

First visit was huge disappointment, and left 1star review before. I heard it was under different management so I gave it an another try. Wow what a difference! I couldn't believe how nice staffs were compared to last time and also not forgetting to mention it is probably the best gopchang in town. Our server Mr. Junho took very good care of us will definitely be back soon again. I am so glad I went back to here again. I went twice within a week already. Yummmmmm

All the reviews are true. The food is good but the service is horrible. Our server Celina was rude from the moment we sat down on our table. She never answered us every time we ordered and just grunted at us when we tried to order or talk to her. Even though the food is good, the portion is tiny and expensive. The worst part- when we left, we tried to tell the owner that our service Celina was rude- he just laughed it off like it wasn't anything serious. Probably never going back- just go to Gopchang story next door- alteast their service is friendly and their food is also good.

I went with my mom for lunch today and I am really happy to find out this little gem in Fort Lee. It is Probably the best gopchang place in the area. I got the assorted gopchang combo and don't regret a bit! They also have Very attentive service. Will be back !

I ordered this "to go" and I was so disappointed with the portion size. This came out to be a little more than $35 and there was only 15 pieces of daechang. The flavor is very good but I cannot get over how meager the amount of food given to me was. . Maybe if you eat it in store they will be more generous ‍

Finally got to try this place I heard so much about on a Christmas day with wife because it was…read morefrigid and we wanted a warm bowl of Korean "tang"(soup). Finding parking is quite challenging given the location on a busy commercial street, so make sure you can come earlier than meal time to have better luck. They have waiting seats OUTSIDE so yeah I suppose it's quite popular at times. 1. ATMOSPHERE (3/5) - This location is small and it's pretty straightforward place. But I still found it cozy, with decent amount of seating (I think it can handle 15-20 max) and little details like wall with wood ledges and coat hangers were a nice touch. Seating was comfortable, though we tied our down parkas around our waist as another party had hung theirs on our side of coat hangers. 2. FOOD (4/5) - We dove right in to try their famous gejang (~Korean raw crab "ceviche") and ordered two of their namesake gookbap (rice with soup) to see how they are. Here's how it went down. - Gejang (App, $20, 2/5) - I had a hunch that on a holiday perhaps I should not order this, but my craving for succulent crab flesh be damned, I went for it and unfortunately, the meat was not well-marinated as I had feared. Gejang is a dish that has to sit in the complex soy-based pickling liquid for some time... and if restaurant is too busy churning them out or if it's slow season they won't do this properly. It not only wasn't fully marinated, I think the marinade was off because the spiciness was way out of balance and was overpowering. Perhaps knowing that it didn't have enough time to marinade the kitchen put extra diced jalapenos to compensate? Because that's exactly what it tasted like - you can't fool me. I tried to salvage the dish by asking a confused-looking girl server for some sugar, but yeah, can't un-do the overpowered marinade with sprinkling of sugar. This was really unfortunate as I was looking forward to a good bite. - Ahjae Gookbap (Main, $18, 5/5) - Thankfully, their namesake gookbap was spot-on to salvage our dining. Generous slabs of succulent beef on the bone and off the bone was swimming in a hearty beef/bone broth that tasted clean and focused. Portion was good, and can I say their banchan of fish cake moochim & unfermented kimchi & ggakdugi(radish kimchi) simply ROCKS? That was some serious deliciousness and dare I say value at $18 at a day and age where hamburger costs over $10! You win at life by ordering this! 3. SERVICE (4/5) - Our server girl was attentive and food came out early on though later it was a bit hard to get her attention promptly. We found ourselves putting hands in the air, and wavin' like we don't care... for a little while. They provide gloves & metal bin for gejang which was a nice touch for people to keep their fingers clean. One thing I'd like to mention: Plastic cup they served water in was all chipped on the rim so we instead went and got water from their hot & cold water dispenser which had metal cups (as many korean restaurants do). I'd suggest them to replace all these old plastic cups with metal ones for health reasons. Overall, we were satisfied with our meal. I'd chock up the gejang mishap to it being a holiday. I hope chef was just off with the marinade that day because I am a certified gejang pro(I catch and make my own) and that balance ain't it. But I will give it another try during warmer month and we'll definitely be back to try sooyook moochim, oyster jeon & other great soup offerings.

Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

This time around, it's a stronger 5 out of 5 because of our waiter was amazing. Ugh, I can't remember his name. He was on top of everything and making sure our food was grilled in a timely manner. He was quick to follow up with orders/requests that didn't come through when the kitchen didn't bring them out. Usually my gripe or disclaimer I give to people is that Wooga is great at everything except wrapping up things on the end. In the past, whenever I went, it would take forever (!!!!!) to get our check and pay. It was so frustrating but this time around, it was a bit faster. It's a win-win situation because we get to pay and leave and the restaurant has another table for customers. Though on the pricier side, Wooga does check off all the boxes of: -amazing meat quality -amazing & attentive service -they don't skimp on banchans (side dishes that I heard other restaurants are starting to limit) -several meat combo options -best Korean steamed egg in the North Jersey area We tried the thinly sliced oxtails, which were really good but pretty pricey for $38cash/$39.90card for 11oz of it. There are some things that are inconvenient (long waits, very small parking lot) but it's easy to overlook them once you have a meal at Wooga. Things to know before you go: -Their menu is updated on their website if you want to check that out before you go. -The earlier you go, the better your chance of being seated quickly. Weekends are definitely a longer wait, so plan ahead. -Their parking lot is small so it fills up super quickly, so you'll have to park across the street and play Frogger (maybe you might be too young to know this reference?) to cross the 4 lanes of Palisade Ave. -When you arrive, make sure to check in with the host/hostess so that you could get a pager to know when your table is ready. Your turn can come pretty fast sometimes depending on the timing.

The pork belly was incredible with decent grill-kissed char marks. The marinated beef was tasty but a little tougher than I prefer. I love all the free side dishes that came with our meat orders, especially the soybean stew and towering egg soufflé. Service is brisk and efficient..sort of. This is the sort of place where servers hover with their order pads soon after you settle down, expecting you to just know what you want. Since this is a full-service BBQ, our server came around frequently to grill, cut, or flip or meats. After all was eaten and done, it become mysteriously difficult to flag her down for our cheque. We have always enjoyed dining at Daeji Ssonday in Ridgefield, but the rude and unprofessional behavior of our waitress completely ruined our family dinner. We were seated at the table directly in front of the far back-right table (when looking from the counter). From the moment we sat down, the service was hostile: Aggressive Attitude: As soon as we sat, she demanded our order loudly. When we asked questions about the menu, she answered with visible irritation. While we were briefly discussing options with our children, she slammed her notepad onto our table with a loud "bang" and walked away, startling both us and our kids. Negligent Service: She continued to be rude throughout the meal, literally tossing side dishes onto the table. Furthermore, the exhaust hood at our table wasn't working properly, causing the smoke from the pork belly to fill the air and make it hard to breathe. She didn't check on us until much later. Ruined Meal Flow: While we were still eating our pork belly, she came over and--without asking--scraped all the meat onto a side plate to clear the grill for the spicy squid. We had to eat cold, greasy pork belly instead of enjoying it warm off the grill. She never even asked if we wanted fried rice afterward and ignored our table for the rest of the night. We always try to treat service staff with respect and gratitude, but this experience was unacceptable. Despite our polite demeanor, we were treated with zero professional courtesy. If the manager or owner is reading this, please look into the staff working that shift. This waitress needs serious retraining in basic customer service. It's a shame because we loved this restaurant, but after tonight, we have no desire to return.
