Unsafe wiring
Kevin T.

I Was in a decent predicament with my tail lights being out after my truck getting hit. I work every single day mostly all day and With Already having one cop give me a warning to fix it and being scared of someone hitting me from behind at night it only led to me needing to find a place to fix it ASAP especially with heavy rain next week. I found this place and it was very close to my house, with great reviews! I did all I could to fix the problem myself but I was searching for a needle in a haystack without the proper equipment to detect where the problem was and no time. I am absolutely thrilled at how fast the issue was found and fixed, all within 6 hours, and based on the reviews of this place I know they do exceptionally good work and are great people! With all that being said, I'm just a bit disappointed and overall pretty unsatisfied with the way it was done. I payed $350 to have a 8ft strand of wire ran into my existing tailight harness, and over the phone after the quote I had told them just make it look as OEM and professional as possible like it was your own vehicle. I get home and go to inspect the work and I find the green wire (power wire) dilly looped through my frame, brake lines and frame clips that held in my old harness broken and a whole stretch of wire harness dangling. I'm completely satisfied with how fast it was done and I would say I would be 100% happy with the amount I spent for it to be done that fast if it was done right and looked like it had a bit of care thrown into it.... Which I can now see why it was finished so quickly. I will take it apart and re do it myself and spent the extra hour to make it not noticeable and most importantly SAFE and RELIABLE, away from open road conditions and moving parts that can pull and shred it. Like I said overall very disappointed with the work and lack of detail or effort put into it when there was no time frame nor limit of money when I told them to make it look as professional and OEM as possible. I do however give a 5 start to the man at the front desk, very very happy and overall good dude! The facility is clean, safe and welcoming! Just wish I could say I'd go back!

Beware: Unethical and Deceptive Practices by Ratchets N Wrenches Mobile Mechanic:…read moreI'm writing this review on behalf of my 83-year-old mother-in-law, who had a deeply troubling experience with Danny from Ratchets N Wrenches, a mobile auto repair service. Danny was called to inspect and repair a water leak in her vehicle. He initially quoted $360 via text message--no formal documentation, invoice, or written estimate was ever provided. A few days later, Danny claimed additional parts were needed but failed to specify what those parts were or how much they would cost. Despite multiple requests for a breakdown of charges and parts, no information was given. Then, without warning or authorization for any additional work, Danny texted that the vehicle was "all fixed" and demanded $740--more than double the original quote. At no point was a revised estimate presented, nor was consent given for extra repairs. This lack of transparency and disregard for proper documentation is especially concerning given that the customer is an elderly woman. It's clear she was taken advantage of during this process. Danny's reply was, I can come back and remove all the parts and give your money back, what's an 83-year lady supposed to do? Consumers--especially seniors--deserve honesty, clarity, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. If you have a like story, please post it to avoid this happening to someone else.

Pricing was the best I found and very fair. Michael in financing was calm, respectful, and explained everything clearly without any pressure. I chose a couple of add ons, but the conversation felt genuine and informative. In and out in about 90 minutes, which is impressive. Easily one of the smoothest car purchases I have had. Highly recommend.

I purchased my 2016 Kia Optima from this dealership as a pre-owned vehicle about 4-5 years ago, and…read moreit currently has only around 90,000 miles. I've now had both passenger-side windows fail -- first the rear passenger window stopped working, and now the front passenger window completely dropped into the door and won't roll back up. I'm struggling to understand how a vehicle with under 100k miles ends up with multiple window motor/regulator failures. After doing research, I found many owners reporting similar issues, which makes this seem like more than normal wear and tear. I reached out to both the dealership and Kia hoping for some goodwill assistance due to the repeated failures. Instead of receiving meaningful help, I was told I needed to pay for diagnostics and was given an estimate of roughly $2,300 to replace both passenger-side window assemblies and motors. What made this experience even more disappointing was feeling like dealership management showed little interest in helping despite me purchasing the vehicle through them and being a long-term customer. I asked whether any assistance, goodwill repair options, or cost-sharing could be considered and was essentially told I would be responsible for the full amount. I was already unhappy with the price I paid when I originally purchased the vehicle and felt I paid a premium expecting quality and support. Having major repeated failures like this before 100,000 miles and then receiving no meaningful help has been extremely frustrating. I expected better reliability and better customer care.

Mario's Auto Diagnostics - Coil

Today was my lucky day and the first thing I did when Mario was done was rush to write this review…read more I have an older vehicle that was running horribly. I had been told that I needed a tune up but the quotes were a lot so I was putting it off. Well it took a turn for the worse and was getting close to undriveable. I made an appointment with a reputable auto repair shop in the area to get it taken care of. They looked it over and called me and said they were declining to work on it because it had over 10 codes on the OBP scan, they had to jump start it from the parking lot (news to me) and could barely drive it into the bay. They recommended taking it to the dealership (out of the question) or start looking for a replacement vehicle. I left dejected, thinking it was a goner. I called around looking for someone who would be willing to work on it and right away. One call was to Mario, who had a mobile service. I wasn't sure about the mobile thing as opposed to a brick and mortar garage but was willing to roll the dice because he had an opening the following morning. He was running behind due and I considered going to a local shop because I thought he might not be able to get to me and I needed it done that day and couldn't put it off. However, I just had a good feeling about him, and because of our phone conversation he really demonstrated a lot of knowledge about my vehicle. I decided to wait it out and have faith in him, and it really paid off. Not only is my truck purring like a kitten again but his cost came under what the shops were charging. In fact, I couldn't even get a firm quote from other people- they were leaving the door open that the price could go up depending on what they encountered and were also talking about $200ish diagnostic fees in addition to the repair cost before the work was done. I'm gonna be calling this guy, and I'm gonna keep his ass busy. I had a trusted mechanic for over 20 years who passed away, and so I was a free agent looking for another good guy. I think I'm officially off the market and I have three cars that need upkeep. 100% satisfaction today. He's definitely a master of his craft and was very fair and honest from soup to nuts. Now if you'll excuse me I have to get back on the gas.
