I liked that I could just drive up without an appointment, and the got me in and out sooo fast. Seemed a little too fast... and that turned out to be true, it was too fast. The didn't provide any receipt or feedback on checking any other items. They said it would be emailed to me but I haven't received it even a day later (I've checked my spam folder). To make matters worse, a little oil leak has developed below this vehicle that has NEVER leaked oil previously. I'm sincerely hoping it was just leftover drips that they didn't wipe up, but I'll have to keep monitoring it. My recommendation: make an appointment at some reputable mechanic shop instead of going here. More headache than the time savings was worth. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change (up to 5 quarts) for $60, expecting to pay a reasonable difference since my car takes 8 quarts. I completely understand paying extra for additional oil but what I was quoted was outrageous. When I arrived, they told me it would be $180 total for the oil change. That's nowhere near a small up charge that's triple the price and completely defeats the purpose of the "deal." It felt extremely misleading and honestly like a bait-and-switch. I love coming here for the convenient oil changes. They told me my brakes were bad so I gave this a shot. They quoted me a price and I said I would come back. When I came back without my husband, the price was higher than what they verbally quoted him. I showed him a coupon from their website and he said "oh I already discounted that" however, the receipt shows no discount. I feel taken advantage of. It was my first time visiting this establishment. I found a Groupon and decided to try it out. It was for their 21-point full maintenance along with a 5-qt oil change. It was a great deal from what I saw. They did provide an oil change in about 10 minutes. However, they didn't do much of the 21-point full maintenance check. I know this because all my liquids were not topped off (I went to use my new wipers as I was driving off and no wiper fluid came out) and they didn't not mention anything about checking either of my air filters (I know they need to be changed). So, did I get everything I was supposed to receive based on what the Groupon said? Nope. They did not honor it properly. I did, however, get the 25% discount for my new wiper blades and for paying for the 1/2 quart of oil that wasn't cover on the Groupon. Perhaps they didn't do it all because I used a Groupon, but they should have. I'm not sure if I would recommend them because they cut corners on my experience there. So, I am disappointed, but they were nice people and I did get my oil changed, my tired filled, & some fluids done for sure. read more

Just got an oil change and had to stop by to leave a review because I'm genuinely so appreciative of these guys who do everything. I've been coming to Synfast for a while now and honestly they're the best. Every time I pull in, Jovany is there and he's just super helpful and knows his stuff. He actually takes the time to explain what they're checking and answers all my questions without making me feel dumb, which I really appreciate. The service is fast, like usually 10-15 minutes, but they're not rushing through it or cutting corners. I even got my brakes replaced here and they walked me through everything step by step. My car is literally at 200,000 miles right now and running so smooth. Like that alone should tell you how good they are. They top off all the fluids every time, including windshield wiper fluid, so I literally haven't had to buy that in forever. My tires stay good and they fill up the air whenever I ask. Like respectfully, my car is just thriving now. What I love most is there's no pressure or weird upselling vibes. Just honest service at good prices. Plus after every visit I get an email with my receipt that tells me when I need to come back based on mileage, which is clutch because I'm out here driving everywhere and would 100% forget otherwise. This place was so awesome. I drove in for an oil change and was warned my brakes needed to be changed because they were metal on metal. I am so hard pressed to get things done quickly but decided that sounded pretty dire so I went for it. He came into the showroom to show me my brakes and how thin they were. I asked him to show me the difference between those and the ones he'd replace them with. I am a visual learner and he definitely illustrated the vulnerability my brakes had. I went to Synfast in Temecula for the first time a few months back and I received excellent service. The first time I went in, Giovanni, helped me out. He let me know about a leak in my car, which turned out to be something that was still covered under my Kia dealership warranty. Thanks to his recommendation, I was able to go to Kia, explain the issue clearly, and get it fixed( Kia did not fix till the 2nd time I went back. Luckily another representative listened to me this time) and all largely because Giovanni took the time to explain things thoroughly to me. The second time I came back to Synfast, Giovanni was there again, just as polite, professional, and helpful as before. Came for a groupon purchase for my oil change, skeptical that the service was too fast. I ask what brand of oil , they said its Duramaxx, i ask what kind of oil they gonna put coz i purchase a full synthetic, i didnt see these people put oil from the motor top cylinder, do they fill it up from the bottom??? I asked if oil filter was changed? They said yes, but my question is draining takes a while for the car to empty out. They said oil change was done, it's under 7mins... i checked out from the place . I parked to check the car from the bottom. As i thought the car was rushed. The bottom metal guard is not fastened or screwed to secure, matter of fact they were no screws!!!! I came back to tell the guys to put back the screws! They smirked! I ALSO CHECK THE OIL AND IT WAS ON HALF WAY AND THE SMELL AND COLOR OF IT WAS NOT A NEW BUT OLD OIL CHANGE. My car started to shake after that oil change. If anyone has same problem pls dont hesitate to report this business at California Bureau of Automotive. My husband found a deal on Groupon. A Great deal! I called the place of business and spoke with Fermin. He explained to me how the Groupon works and that we needed to wait at least 24 hours before using, as sometimes it may not yet show in their systems. We are responsible for the disposal and tax fee, which is like an additional 2 to 4 dollars and if your car needs more than 5 quarts of oil, which we did not need additional oil. We went ahead and purchased the deal after speaking with him. Today we pulled right in and the oil change began. We did spend about 10 min but within those minutes they are constantly moving and communicating with one another to document and top off fluids that are complimentary. Giovanni (the manager) checked and changed our oils. He is very professional, courtesy and very knowledgeable. Fermin answered all additional questions I had about our car and is very very knowledgeable and professional as well. We will be coming back for their service and we will share by word of mouth. The guys that helped me out were professional, courteous, and we're not pushy when it came to other items that my car might need I will definitely go back. They have made a new customer out of me. I've been coming to this spot for over 5 years with over 10 different vehicles. The service here is excellent: the team is friendly and welcoming, never intimidating or pushy. They always leave me informed and feeling like I'm more than just another driveby customer. The crew and manager provide quality customer service and works with me everytime things get tough. Usually I'm just in and out for oil changes but they're so good that I trust them with my brakes, windshield wipes for those rare SoCal instances of rain, my coolant needs, and just general knowledge of what my car actually needs versus what many other shops try to take me. I've never been to one of these drive up oil changes and wasn't sure how it went. There should be clear instructions if there's safety hazards about the process for drivers so there's no confusion. The guy who helped me was super nice (wish I got his name he's got tattoos) but the other employee Cole was SO rude, passive aggressive and not even good at good job. I even asked the other employee if Cole had an issue with me because he was clearly Bad mouthing me. Will never go back because of him.
