I have been going to this shop for years. They have provided consistent, quality service at a fair price. They're good people.

RATS! Boy did I have a day of it with RATS! I have been going to Inland Auto for my smog certificates for a few years now. They offer, quick, know how service with a smile. I've decided to put my Toyota Matrix in Mike, the owners care as well. He knows his stuff. Plus, he truly went above and beyond.... RATS! Rats had made a home under the hood of my rarely driven car. Not just a home, a home for TWO RATS! They had gathered a zillion dates from the date palm tree. Horrible. "Please, can you help me?", I pleaded with Mike. He gave in. Not normally something they would do. Phew! Not many places available that would have done it either. Later, Mike showed me how he'd cleaned up under the hood, and honestly? It looked like a spanking new engine. Rats dead! So, I guess it's obvious why I'll be taking my Matrix to Inland Auto in the future for all its needs. Value for the money? Just right. read more

The oil light on my vehicle came on, so I took my vehicle to inland auto in Murrieta. They said it was because my oil drain plug was loose. I'm sure that was the first thing they checked. Well for this 5 minute job which involved tightening the drain plug they charged me $180. Yeah $180 to tighten a drain plug !! read more

Excellent service, friendly owner and staff. That goes a long way for me, to speak with knowledgeable staff that talks plain English. Thanks Mike! read more

I had my spark plugs and coils replaced and after getting overcharged by Mountain View Tires, I decided to get a second opinion at Inland Auto -- and I'm so glad I did. The service was excellent, honest, and efficient. They gave me a fair quote upfront (much better than what I was originally quoted elsewhere), and had my car ready within a day. The whole process was smooth and professional. Highly recommend Inland Auto if you're looking for reliable work without the markup. read more

Inland Auto - Car - Auto Repair Near Me - Murrieta, California

Originally went to another shop (Murrieta Smog Star) to get a Smog done. Checked the night before for the opening time (07:30 am) and planned my morning accordingly. Got their at 07:25 and no one was there and showed up exactly at 07:30, (this is an indicator in my book already). The guy said that the tech was not there and if I'd give them 15 minutes. I waited the 15 minutes and still no response from anyone there. There are so many negative things I can say about this. First, if you're going to advertised that you are open for work between certain hours you should be ready to work during those hours not start getting ready to work. I seen a sign stating Labor $180 an hour which would equate to $45 of my time just waiting to be served. After my 15 minutes of wasted time I went to Inland Auto which was a few doors down from where I was at. I was immediately and professionally greeted by Mike and taken care of very quickly. The place was spotless which is an indicator to me as to the grade of work they do. While there I also watched how they treated other customers as they came in. I highly recommend using this place for you automotive needs. Professional and reasonably priced! read more

I brought my Toyota Rav 4 to Inland Auto as I needed rear brakes. I didn't have an appointment, but Mike still fit me in. He was very welcoming and had a positive attitude. Had to come back next day to get serpentine belt warranty as it musta got damaged coming off or back on. Things happen and I loved the way it was taken care of!! read more

If Elvis was alive, he'd be writing songs about how great Inland Auto is! Great communication along with friendly, fast & great work on my car. When my car wouldn't start, I was at a loss as to where to take it. Especially with the 3 day holiday weekend approaching. Inland Auto was suggested by my AAA tow truck driver & I'm really glad he did! Mike was great to work with & I had my car diagnosed and repaired & I got it back the next day. Mike and his team are my go to guys for all my cars. Always professional, always fair, always keep me in the loop with updates, zero BS. Hard to find folks like this in the world these days. It's because of these guys that my almost 20 year old Dodge Magnum runs perfectly even at almost 200k miles. They always make the extra effort when needed to make sure everything is 100%. Can't say enough good things about Inland Auto !!! read more

We have a 2005 Dodge Viper we had a leak in a couple of lines. We took it to the dealer and the parts were already obsolete so they could not fix it. I checked on the Viper sites and no one had a recommendation on where to take it. We took it to Inland Auto and they replaced everything that needed to be replaced. The air blows so cold now that we always set it at a mid range because the coldest setting is too cold. Great workmanship at a fair price. read more

Mike has shown me how much he cares about his business and reputation. When a owner takes the time to read and contact customers about their experience, it speaks volumes, thanks for the call. Darrick read more

Inland Auto - My car, looking to find a reliable auto repair, I hope this is it!!! - Auto Repair Near Me - Murrieta, California

They asked me to write a review because it helps them out, but they didn't help me out at all This is what happened folks: Truly I hesitate to give them a second star. I took my car to get my ac fixed and I left with a still broken ac and almost a 130.00 less. They didn't not diagnose my car correctly and improperly assumed what the issue was with my car without ever asking me. They wouldn't give me my keys so I could test it myself until I paid. And after I paid and got the chance to check, it still didn't work and Inland Auto told me I had to pay a second diagnosis fee because the issue wasn't what they thought it was. Left with broken ac on a hot day. Truly got fooled by them. read more

Thank you mike !! My car has been a headache going back and forth feeling like I was given the run around. Thank you for everything you're very appreciated. I will definitely recommend people to you :) read more

Update. The owner replied to me. I could barely understand his grammar but I found it ironic how he would criticize my views yet he said it's important to respect others who have different views. I wouldn't bash a business but I would be truthful because I don't want customers to feel uncomfortable if they're unwelcome. I'm strongly against bashing a business but I support customers being vocal feeling uncomfortable if the business doesn't respect their health or the law. ‍ read more

Thank you so much for helping my Mom and I with her cars AC! it's been a tough two years without it. we are so grateful it's fixed and blowing cold. Mike was awesome! reasonable prices, he was super quick, and let us know what was happening every step of the way. thanks again mike! read more

Highly recommend that you take your vehicle in to get serviced at Inland Auto. I sent in an email request to get an oil change and they helped me the next day as I requested even though it was short notice. I definitely will be back to get my car serviced here on a regular basis. read more

Everything was good until I got my car back and saw that my custom paint matched fiberglass rockers on the side of my car were cracked, had scratches, and a chunk of fiberglass taken off. Owner mentioned he had a problem getting my car on the lift due to it being low but continued anyways. Called owner he admitted to it and didn't inform me at the time of pickup and all he had to say was sorry. He did not try to fix or remedy the situation in anyway. My previous experience with them was good but this made it go downhill as I expected a certain amount of quality from them that they gave me before. Also, it was just all repainted only a few weeks prior due to it being in the body shop. Now that body shop work was pointless and a waste of money due to the carelessness of this shop. read more

I had a great smog experience here. Thank you for the great customer service. Definitely quick and painless. We have been taking all our cars to Mike at Inland Valley for years. He is always fair and honest. If there is more than one option, he always spells it out clearly, and never pressures us to take a more expensive option. The work is always done right the first time. I have a Prius, and my husband has a nearly 20 year old Chevy pick-up. We are both consistently happy and satisfied with the work done on our cars. I recommend Inland Auto to everyone who asks for a recommendation for a mechanic. It's so important to have a mechanic you can trust, and you can trust Inland Auto read more

I have an old Olds 442 convertable, and beieve me when I say it's difficult to find a shop to work on it! I had the AC recharged by another machanic, but it didn't work and I had to find someone else. Initially Mike was leery to work on it, as it's almost 50 years old, but he relented and was able to repair it. Great job and thank you very much! Alan Hanson Murrieta read more
