Fast and efficient. I have been going here with different vehicles for a few years. Highly recommend

I've been coming to this facility for my smog testing for 8 years. They provide quality service. at a great value. Rarely have to wait longer than 20 minutes.Everyone is professional and courteous. read more

It only takes 10-15mins total. They are licensed in the state of California meaning if you need a smog check to get your registration - they can do that. The place is clean and service is friendly. The restroom is out of order. I've received quotes around the area and they have the best rate for cars in the year 2000+ I would recommend coming here again. Also, don't forget to check in for a coupon and see if your service qualifies for it. read more

Great fast service for a car smog. I got my civic smogged and I was in and out . I highly recommend.

We walked in around 11:15 with two people ahead of us, and walked out with our smog certificate about 20 minutes later. I used a voucher I found at their web page, so the price was very competitive. I would definitely use them again. read more

Fast and reasonable, but customer service is horrible guy with a beard is extremely rude and short tempered. He looks like he hates his job ....But maybe he was having a bad day :( . read more

Went today and dealt with Scott who was very pleasant and accommodating. Answered all of my questions and I got in and out within half an hour. Sent information directly to DMV with no issues. Would highly recommend for future customers! read more

I went in on a Friday as a walk in (I don't know if they take appointments), was seen within 10 minutes and it felt like 5 minutes later he was done. Quick and great service. 10/10 read more

Took my 2020 Ram 2500 Diesel here last week. There was no wait when I arrived. Service was great & I was in and out in 20-25 min.

This is not a service I've ever had to use before so I relied on my Yelp community to point me in the right direction. Y'all did not disappoint. I called Smog Test Murrieta this morning and confirmed they could see me without an appointment. The gentleman on the phone said it would take 20-30 minutes. They had a coupon on their website (found thru Yelp app) for $31.75. Comparably priced to other businesses in the area. I chose to drive an extra 10 minutes to this place because of the 4.5 stars. Worth the drive. The guy was quick, professional, and even had the work done in about 10 minutes from the time I walked in the door. Great level of customer service and they even transmit the results directly to the DMV so all I have to do is jump online and pay the renewal fee. Excellent local business I will use again in the future (you know, next time my registration is due!). read more

Pulled in for a smog, wasn't greeted the dude just hastily did hand signals for me to pull up and stop, just yelled "leave the keys on the dash and go inside, I'll handle it"....ok. Lady inside wasn't welcoming or really even kind, just straight to the point but almost on the side of rude....i guess I just miss good old fashioned customer service. There was probably one sentence spoken between us & yeah I was in and out within 10 mins and passed my emissions test but I just suppose they could've been nicer, I won't be referring anyone here. read more

Solid 4.5/5 stars-- I requested quotes on Yelp and received a very quick response from the owner. I liked the price, how prompt he was to respond, and the proximity of the location to my house. So I get off from work 30 min before they closed and asked to book an appointment. He said to just stop by whenever. I called the next day and advised I was on the way and he said, "Well you better hurry." I thought that was an odd response. I tried to book the appt in advance so it wouldn't be an issue. Anywho, the owner was quiet and barely said a word to me. Other than that, the service was quick -- I was in and out in 15 min. read more

Call 3 times- no answer- Got here at 5:49pm but smog guy locked the door. Tried to get smog done to wrap up my purchase for my 16 years old daughter. Drove 20 minutes from France valley. He said Too tried and can not stay over time. So bad!! read more

Fast and efficient service, the man was by himself and doing it all. However, I was just confused the whole time. He didnt explain anything just told me to put my keys in the bin and next thing my car was done. While at checkout, there was little to no communication. He was not rude, just very bland (which isnt necessarily bad) but just a friendly tip, a little communication would have gone a long way. Thanks read more

Efficient and great price and a one man operation! I live in Wildomar and the smog cost $20+ in my area. This location was about $40 out the door. I was expecting a long wait so I brought breakfast. I left my paperwork and keys in the tray (as the sign noted). Scott was helping another customer. He was so fast, he finished my smog and I was still eating. He even came to me to get my driver's license and credit card so I could finish eating. He was very kind and told me I didn't need to rush. read more

I contacted Smog Test Murrieta to smog my mother's 2013 Honda Pilot. The work was done fast with no complications. They treated us very nice and even assisted completing the paperwork. The price was very fair. I highly recommend Smog test Murrieta and plan to return when I need this type of service again. read more

Walked in and the whole process took 20 mins. Scott helped me...poor guy looked exhausted but that's what happens when you handle everything in the shop. He was nice, polite and no need for over chit-chatting. This is a smog shop, he had a job to do and did it professionally. I'll definitely come here again and will be referring my friends! Thanks, Scott, you rock! read more

Arrived at 4:30pm while one customer was paying/checking out and another customer waiting in front of me. Was told to come back tomorrow as he didn't want to stay after 5pm. Last time I checked, it takes no more than 10 minutes for a smog check. So with one other customer before me, he would have been done with both of us before 5. If there were more customers in front of me, that would make sense but there was only one customer ahead of me. Were you going to take 30 minutes to do a smog check? Makes no sense... If you have a policy of not accepting customers after a certain time then have a sign or put it on your Yelp so you don't waste other people's time they spent to drive to you. Left a bad taste in my mouth. Luckily, I went to the place on Jefferson down the street and was in and out in LESS than 10 minutes. I didn't want to spend 20 minutes to drive home and another 20 minutes to come back the next day. read more

They advertise one stop shop for smog test and vehicle registration. We drive over in a very bad construction traffic day for both services. The man working barely could give us more than short grunts. So incredibly rude! Zero customer service. AND false advertising as they no longer provide vehicle registration. They should update their website. Man he was brutal. I chalked it up to bad day and tried to be kind but he wasn't having it. Major personality flaw. Many other smog checks around, don't bother with this one. read more

Came in to get the car smogged and I was in and out within 15 minutes! Truly amazed and love coming here! This is the only place you should be coming to. They have the cheapest price in town! I do recommend this business for it's fast and efficient service. It was also affordable, which is always a plus. For those reasons, I say- come here. My reasons for not giving the extra stars is because I parked and came in and was eager to get my service going- and the technician took another guy who was just sitting there in his car outside ahead of me even though I came in first... unless there he had already come in prior to my arrival (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he did). But the technician said NOTHING to me about it. Not even a "this customer checked in already so I will be helping him first." He just walked out to the other guy and left me there. And the other issue for me is that the wait area is just a BIG room with chairs lined against the wall facing each other... no TV, no music- nothing to break the awkward silence. I know we are all on our phones these days, but a little background noises would have been appreciated. (I fully believe the other customer was as weirded out by this as I was.) Lastly the place was so dirty. A little dusting and flooring cleaning would go a long way. read more

Went to have a used vehicle I purchased smogged so that I would be able to register it. The attendant came out and said that he could not complete the smog because of the new catalytic converter that the original owner had replaced. I was appreciative that he did not charge me, but he did not give me any insight as to why it could not be smogged. The only information he provided is that I had to go back to where the catalytic converter was purchased and have them check their "numbers". When asked for more details, he said he could not help me. I went t to another smog check place and they were not able to smog the vehicle either. They, on the other hand, gave me detailed information as to why the vehicle was not able to be smogged. They also provided me with paperwork stating what the issue was, why the catalytic converter was incorrect and what the correct part was. read more

Have had my car smog checked here twice and had good experiences. But I'll be taking my business elsewhere this time. They don't answer the phone and they never return a message so it's impossible to make an appointment. Today I arrived 30 minutes before closing time but was turned away and in a very unprofessional manner. The guy at the front desk didn't even have the courtesy of coming to the door, he basically told me to go away by gesturing cutting his throat with his hand. Wait, what? I stood there and asked him to come to the door so I could make an appointment and he simply refused. Lost a customer today and probably couldn't care less. Oh well... read more

FIRST POINT -- I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS, THIS IS MY FIRST. I'M DOING SO IN HOPES THAT NOBODY ELSE HAS TO WASTE THEIR TIME LIKE I DID. Smog Test Station not properly following California Bureau of Automotive Repair Smog Check Manual (https://www.bar.ca.gov/Resources#manuals-and-guides). Smog Tech would not pass my vehicle due to an "improper" gas cap for my 2008 Chevy Tahoe, which incorrect. My gas cap was indeed the proper non-OEM issued gas cap that populates in any automotive parts retailer parts check system. I went to O'Reilly and they provided me with the same type of cap for my year/make/model. Per page 27 of the California BAR 2017 Smog Check manual found on the (dca.ca.gov website) states that: vehicles newer than 1995 do not require a "Fuel Cap Integrity Test" (only vehicles between 1976-1995) and therefor does not require the "Visual inspection" as part of the two part "Fuel Cap Integrity Test". DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. A COMPLAINT HAS BEEN FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS. read more
