I was super hesitant to come here because of the reviews. But I needed a smog asap and it was 5 minutes away from work. I called, he was able to take me in right away as I was about 15 mins away. When I got there, I was greeted by a nice Asian man. He was very helpful & nice, I felt like I was talking to my uncle. Haha, he was very professional & knowledgeable! Also quick, I was there for maybe 15-20 mins tops. I have a 2014 Honda Civic, so I paid $50. Which is good compared to other places. Anyways thank you so much sir! This place was recommended by my father-in-law. We went there and got our car smog checked in 15-20 mins. Paul, the owner, was nice. My husband and I enjoyed talking to him and got to know a bit of history of how he came to America. He is someone I can definitely relate to. He has an American flag that is hung down vertically and it just took me right home of how my mom hung it the same way. One time I bought a bunch of American flags for my sisters to hang them at the salons. When mom saw me with all these flags she proudly asked me for one. She wanted one for her little apartment. Anyway, seeing the American flag in the Paul's shop makes me one to support those who claim and are proud of our country. I also want to support a mom and pop auto shop. They didn't get a five star rating because I thought $60 is a bit expensive. read more

I didn't even get my car smogged. As I was negotiating a tight space between a big rig and a yellow pole, the owner came running over, frantically waving his arms and telling me to stop. I had about a foot to go, but he wanted me to back up. That would have definitely damaged my car. I finished driving through, without a scratch and told him he had lost a customer. We have been bringing our cars here for years and never had a problem with the owner. Today we brought our car in and apparently it was his son who was working today. This guy was completely unprofessional and RUDE. Our car didn't pass smog due to a computer issue, we tried to ask him what's usually the issue "DON'T KNOW".....Do you know where we can take it?..."NOPE"....You can't help us with anything?...."NOPE ITS YOUR PROBLEM NOT MINE".....He was WORTHLESS!!...Don't waste your time with this place. The guy certainly wasn't interested in being at work on a Saturday. I think I woke him up when I walked in. He wasn't totally rude , but at the same time he wasn't totally polite either. His price I thought was a little high , but I was in a hurry and needed the smog done. My overall experience is....meh. Will I go back again... probably not. Smog People is in the business of ripping people off not customer service. They over charge for their service and find assinign reasons to fail your vehicle so that you are obligated to bring it back to pay them more money.
