Had wonderful tea and baklava for dessert:)

Don't miss going to an incredible restaurant!!! The food is absolutely outstanding. It's the real deal. Completely authentic Moroccan cuisine at its finest. We are planning on going back to the Resturant once we complete a trip around Ireland. We ordered the vegetarian tagines that had such unique flavors and different flavors. I've decided to go back to the states and will experiment making some tagines. The waiters and waitresses were so warm and inviting and take pride working there. The manager was so welcoming and made us feel happy to be there. All that and the food made it a 10 star for us!!!

This place is a real gem and the best meal I've had in Dublin so far this trip. Very delicious mixed grill platter and variety of dips as an appetizer. A large restaurant with good service. Note it's mostly alcohol free though you can bring your own booze.

OMG... I had the best "Chicken, Pears & Almonds" dish with coriander, cinnamon and honey... (see pics). - For starters, consider the "4-Sauces with Pita", a very generous portion that easily serves 3. - The "Fried Liver" entrée is excellent. - Any of the "Tangine" recipes are delicious. - Even the "Vegetarian with Sweet Potato" was a signature surprise. Probably the biggest surprise for me was, all the staff speaks Spanish !!! (In a Morrocan restaurant in Ireland ?!?) Six of us loved this dinning together, with excellent food and service! ... definitely 5-Stars !

This was recommended by our tour guide and she did not disappoint! Had the most WONDERFUL meal here though the service was slow at times. We were seated in the front area and I figure it got busy in the back seating area so we were left waiting for the latter part of our meal. THE FOOD: oh my, the food. We came during the early bird menu so were able to take advantage of the set prices. For appetizers we had the assorted dips and pita (recommend this as it comes with 4 generous portions of different dips) and the pastela which was INCREDIBLE. Such beautiful savory and sweet flavors blended together in that crispy pastry. Yum. For entree we had the 7-hour lamb shoulder (wow, was it tender!) And the chicken supreme tagine. The tagine was one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten. Such warmth and depth of flavor among the tender chicken and pears, piping hot in that clay pot. Mmmmm. To finish for desseet we shared a lovely citrus tart. This was all accompanied by a nice gooseberry white wine. Cannot recommend this place enough. It's a it spendy, so be prepared for that, but it's truly an experience if you love or want to try Moroccan cuisine!

We came to Dada for a sort of reunion dinner. We decided to opt for the 30 euro deal, which included your choice of entree along with a chance to taste all the appetizers and a dessert. The first grouping included a pretty good hummus and spinach I could actually enjoy eating. The chicken kabab was good, but a bit dry. The most unique item seemed to be the chicken liver, which while enjoyable, was the only thing that seemed to be left on the plate when our entrees were ready. Since we had a decent sized group, I had the chance to see a majority of the entrees come to the table. While the Hake, Chicken, and Pumpkin looked great, I was glad I landed on the lamb. They were generous with portions and the string beans were well paired. The meal ended with a brownie for dessert and mint tea. We had a pair in our group who weren't quite interested in the brownie and they were nice enough to provide another dessert option, a lemon cake. I was happy to enjoy the brownie and was impressed by the mint tea. In the end, the only thing I really didn't like was how they charged 1 euro per person for tap water. Since the place is pretty classy and we had a good sized group, I didn't really see the need. Seemed like a money grab to me...

Friendly service, tasty food, and lovely ambiance. My wife and I are visiting from the California. We came to this unique option for dinner venue. A lot of options and generous portions. We would love to be back here when we visit Dublin next time. Highly recommended.

Morocco exists in Dublin! Dreary winter weather giving you a touch of S.A.D? Then treat yourself to an early bird here or a late bird... The interior is everything that you would expect that is, it is Moorish. Ruby reds, warm browns, cushions and candles etc. There was live music by a classical guitarist. I got the lentil soup to start and spicy meatballs for main. The presentation was great as they came out in what I can only liken to the tin man's head. They also were very generous portions. For dessert I had the home made cardamom and lemon tart, it was very rich and the base was too much for me. The mint tea that I ordered with it was a measly portion... Maybe I'm a philistine in that perhaps I should have sipped from the small shot size glass. There are several dining areas which all have their own mood and a private room downstairs. Definitely would go here again.

Dada. [Yelp goes Moroccan - A tale of fire & ice] Snugly packed into a corner booth beside the kitchen we settled down for the festivities to begin; the promise of fine wines, good food and dancing (thankfully not by us) had brought out a curious crowd. We were a sky diving, bus driving, coffee making & free loading eclectic bunch, with an appetite for both good food & great company. The restaurant itself is a mish/mash of pastel colours, Moroccan images, dark timbers and plush red seating, but it also suffers somewhat from its hap hazard décor, the vent above me was held up by three strips of shiny packaging tape, the lights from the kitchen were blinding our party, the tables are too wide for the waiter / waitress to reach across comfortably and a plant had passed away in the corner un-noticed & un-loved. Dinner was a hefty twenty five euros each, which included a starter, main meal and dessert. I had the spicy lamb kebabs to begin, which set my tongue tingling and it was a good intro for the mains to follow. For the main course i chose the Tangine of lamb with broadbeans, the lamb was perfectly cooked and would crumble under the mere presence of the fork, the beans added a nice crunch and the spicy stew kept the palate guessing. Tea was a thimble full of lightly minted water (and that's being generous) and the lemon cake was a cream cake, on a biscuit base with a sprig of mint, it was actually quite nice but the promises of lemons left your mouth wanting more! (If you have to add in beers or a bottle of wine expect to pay closer to the fifty Euro mark.) Post meal we plunged from the fiery depths of the kitchen area into the artic wasteland that was the basement, the belly dancer from Portugal, dancing to Greek music in a Moroccan restaurant (still following me) was a pleasant surprise. {think princess leia, held in jabba the huts palace - that's if you're a star wars geek, the rest of you just look at the attached pictures} She had the curves, the moves and the charm to warm the coldest of hearts (yep it was still cold down there) and managed to coax a few moves from one or two our group, including our own fearless leader. Kudos for the belly dancing ice princess for rounding off an interesting nice - that's morocco cover now lets spin that globe and keeping on moving.

Went here the week after Christmas, so it was still a bit empty, but the food was good. Service was quick at first, slow toward end. The atmosphere was really nice, not overly done. Looked like a nice place for a group dinner. We split 3 appetizers, so I cannot comment on the meal menu. The apps were nice. Salad with piquillo peppers and goat cheese was very good, although a bit oily. The aubergine was a small portion but quite yummy. The 4 moroccan dips were really good - the fave was the fig and date dip and the hummus. The olive tapenade was good but nothing special. We split dessert: rose water cheesecake with cardamom and cinnamon glaze. It also had a marinated plum on top. The cheesecake was nice and light, very very mild rose water flavor. Was good, but probably wouldn't order it again. Nothing else on the dessert menu looked all that exciting. When we left the waiter gave us a coupon for a complimentary glass of wine with our early bird meal, which actually seems like good value. We might be back.

I went to this restaurant by myself fir dinner when it was almost empty. In an hour or so it got pretty busy. The service was very slow as they had only 1 waiter and one guy who wasn't in a waiter outfit (guessing he was the owner or manager) helping with the service. I ordered the four Moroccon dips as appetizers which came quickly but I had to wait 1 hr for my main dish (lamb tagine). The only waiter they had there was very sweet and he was running around to the his best and apologizing everyone so I'm not blaming him. The management should assess the service needs of the restaurant better in my opinion. The food was good but not the service so I'm giving 3 stars.

Chicken and vegetable couscous. It was just perfect !

Last night my family and I went to this Marrocan restaurant. We had fun - because we are fun people - but the food was not the best part of the evening. 1* For the place 1* For the service 1* For the ambiance Minus 2* For the food Feel free to leave me your comments and impression about the place. I'd love to know what you thought ! :)

My gosh, what an epic meal here at Dada. I received a voucher at Christmas that could be used towards a dinner booking for four people. My experience of GroupOn vouchers in the past had not been good, with the staff reacting with a "oh, you've one of those vouchers" and all smiles vanishing (it makes me wonder why they sign up and issue these vouchers in the first place). Back to Dada, there was no such disappointment by staff when I made the booking and when we arrived. The whole experience here was excellent. The décor is great, it had a real foreign feel to the place. If I ever go to Morocco I imagine this is what it would be like. We all went for the Dinner Value menu, which was 30 EUR per person and covered four courses: Sharing bread and dips of organic hummus, olive pate, tomato sauce & harissa and tzazik - all very good Sharing starters of aubergine pate, sardines in filo, spinach, chicken liver and chicken kebab - also excellent For the main course I went for the spicy kofta meatballs tagine with tomato sauce topped with eggs -absolutely smashing, so so tasty. I also had a side of couscous which was very nice also. The couscous was a lot finer than I had before. For desert we all went for the chocolate fudge brownie with ice cream - this was yummy The white wine we had was nice, but alas I cannot remember if it was the sauvignon blanc or the pinot grigio. What I can tell you is we got a second bottle of it. Staff were friendly, nice and efficient. The toilets were clean. Over all and really good dining experience. I will definitely be back.

Shouk's interior is very cute, with high ceilings and an open set up allowing you to dine outside, in a room connected to the outdoor space, or a darker, "indoor" area. food: Fantastic. As someone who is GF and was worried about this when traveling abroad, the GF options where fabulous and the restaurant is very accommodating. The food was fresh and served warm right as it was finished - huge plus service: Servers were kind and lovely :) Every table reservation gives you 1hr and 45 minutes to dine. if you're running late, you won't lose your table but you'll just be seated for a shorter amount of time - keep that in mind :) ambiance: The only reason I'd give Shouk 4 stars is because of the distance of the tables. In the room connected to the outdoor space where we were seated, things did feel a bit cramped. The restaurant has an "open kitchen" where you can see your food being cooked and come out which is great, but we did sit right next to the kitchen and things got a bit stuffy, despite the doors being open outside. We ordered a large mezze to share together with a Batta which is mostly roast sweet potatoes stuffed with lamb mince, yoghurt and spices. Absolutely fantastic. The mezze came with plentiful flatbreads which we hungrily filled with deliciousness and devoured. As it was lunchtime, we decided not to have any wine but I'd be pretty confident it would only be better with a crisp Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. As it was, we had some sparkling water instead and agreed it was a standout meal that was filing but also vaguely healthy. Service was speedy and attentive and we emerged into the sunshine to begin, once again, the odyssey across the Liffey. We will be back.

The waitress came over with a menu and gave me plenty of time to look it over. She was very courteous and pleasant, checking in throughout my time there, never hovering. For breakfast, I ordered an Americano, a ginger scone, and their Irish Oat Porridge - Classic. Their porridge is organic oats made with milk and with ordering it as "Classic", it was served with cream and honey. Starting with the ginger scone, this was another case of a perfectly baked scone - Crispy, golden exterior with a moist, buttery interior. The flavor of ginger was perfectly balanced and the raisins inside were a nice supplement to the scone. The porridge was really good, I loved the creaminess of it!
