To be perfectly honest, The pub started out great some 5 years ago. Today, 2013, I honestly have a feeling the place won't be here much longer. I sense a lack of caring from the owner. The food is still pretty darn good most of the time. The best wings around in my opinion. If I were the owner I'd make a call to Jon Taffer of "Bar Rescue". What a great neighborhood find, literally on the other side of the tracks, I never knew this was here until it popped up on Yelp. An old world pub with great food and drink. Service was great. **currently they are not serving their prized Crab Cakes, this because of the outrageous cost of lump crab meat. Went mid-afternoon on a Friday, the place was basically empty. I sat at the bar to make things easy. I ordered some "hot" (second level from the top in their scale) wings and a Bulldog burger. I ordered a medium rare burger with pepper jack cheese and that's what I got and it was quite tasty... So that gets a thumbs up. Since I got both the burger and wings I skipped the additional french fries, but the burger came with a bag of Utz chips which were nice. The wings were good and not so good... Meaty, not dry or chewy, naked (no breading),but the "hot" sauce wasn't very hot... I wouldn't even classify them as traditional Buffalo style "Frank's Red-Hot" sauced wings. To me hot/Buffalo wings should have at least some level of heat... not crazy hot (save monikers like "atomic" or "volcano" or "nuclear" for those) but at least Frank's out of the bottle hot. So overall it was a good lunch, but next time maybe I need to get the top level wings (or just skip them all together). 4.5 stars rounded up. read more

Rude rude rude. This is definitely a neighborhood spot and you can tell they take care of their regulars. God forbid this is your first time there. You'd think they wouldn't want you to return! They probably don't by the way they've treated us. I wouldn't have given Dacey's 1 Star at all, however it gets a second one just for their Pork Roll and Cheese on a Kaiser roll sandwich, which deserves an entire star for itself, it's amazing! Now as for the service I alluded to. There's a bus boy/ bar back, who is the host as well, seating patrons and clearing off the tables.... each time we've been here (twice and never again), he was so rude to us it felt like he wanted to spit on us and curse us out. I observed him both times and I must say, the dude is working his derrière off, hustling to get the high top tables in the bar area turned over so more customers could get seated and order their food in a timely manner. I respect that. But I also feel that as paying customers we deserve to be respected as well and I just don't get that from here on all levels. From the host, to the waiters/ waitresses, bartenders, and on up. If you have one person busting their tail and in turn he treats patrons poorly, you might want to invest in an additional person to do that job. Also, having one waitress in the bar area doesn't cut it on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Perhaps if you cushion the staff a bit more, the employees won't be so overwhelmed or overworked and they might understand what customer service is. I've also heard from an inside source that the cooks in the kitchen are also super rude. So I'm not quite sure what customer service playbook they are teaching here at Dacey's, but again this is always a packed house, but I won't be packed in there again. read more

So, I went to Daceys with high hope yesterday. You could not pay me enough to go back. I ordered at 4:15....They said 45 minutes. Okay. That's long but whatever. I got there at 5 and the place was borderline empty. After waiting for another 15 minutes completely unacknowledged I was told they'd check on my food. They didnt. So I asked a wait staff and she said "do I know you?" So they paid attention to all the locals and ignored me. 10 minutes later I got my food. That had been sitting there the whole time. The wings were dry. The dries were from a freezer bag. I will never go back. read more

Found this place through YELP!! while randomly visiting Trenton. The atmosphere was a little questionable and despite the reviews saying good for kids, had to sit in the very back to get a high-chair. It seemed as though we were a little forgotten about, although the amount of privacy was really nice... I can say that as I was with the child, but also as someone who appreciates children not being around during my dining experience. Regardless of the atmosphere and minimal service, the food far outweighs any negatives. The staff and waitress was super nice and friendly. The food though.... OH MY GOSH! SO GOOD! Order everything! You won't be disappointed. Definitely a spot I'll hit up again if I'm in the area! read more

Was at dacey's this past Tuesday towards the end of dinner rush. Place was full up, and service was still good. What was not good though was the food that came out. After ordering 12 and 6 boneless wings, we were treated to cut up chicken tenders. No warning or anything. Then we were charged full price even though it was half-off wings Tuesday. Where have you been all my life! This place is great!... minus the dope needle laying on the curb out front. Well, that really is the beauty of this place. A stones throw away from Trenton next to the tracks in morrisville, you find the best burger in bucks. Friendly Irish atmosphere, the smell of fresh buffalo wings, and a hand made black angus beef patty to die for. I could sit here and rot for the rest of forever. Went with my wife and two year old son for lunch. There were only two other people eating at this time (it was the earlier side of lunch). We ordered cheesesteak spring rolls and wings for an appetizer. They were fantastic (especially the spring rolls). My wife just had a salad for an entree, my son the chicken fingers, and I had to try the burgers that I had heard so much about. I have to say they didn't disappoint. One of the best burgers I had in a long time. The only down side to Dacey's is that In my opinion it's a little on the pricey side for a pub in Morrisville. My cheeseburger was 9 bucks and came with a bag of chips. If you want to upgrade to fries and coleslaw it's an additional $2.50. I'm not big on places that you have to order ala carte but that's just me. Looking forward to visiting Dacey's again! read more

First time visit and just had the best burger I've ever had in my life- and I've lived a while. Nothing's perfect - I'm not sure about that now. What a great find in Morrisville. Was told about this place. Everyone raves about the food, in particular the burgers and they did not disappoint! I had the bacon double cheese burger well done. It was tasty, juicy, and big. The fries were fresh, hot, and great. They have many other items on the menu I want to try. I do wish they were open for lunch. They open at 3:00pm. Dacey's is a diamond in the rough! There wings are a stable for every Eagles game for me and my friends and the burgers are great! Leon and the kitchen crew are great at special ordering if you have a food allergy like me. For dining in, it can be a little slow service as the bartender is doing double duty bartender/waitress, but I think it's worth the wait. read more

Ordered take out because I didn't feel like cooking tonight. I had a corned beef reuben on rye. It was delicious. Also had the sausage soup which was in a tomato based broth...good good. Fiancé had fish & chips. Also supposedly delicious. This was soooo worth not cooking tonight. Food was hot & done really quick even though the place was hoppin' when we picked up food. Owner is an ass. We made reservations for a birthday party in advance. We ordered and waited 2 1/2 hours for our food to come. When I talked to him about it he blamed the waitress and the kitchen staff for the problem. We have been there many times over the years and have had these waitresses several times. It was not their fault. He should have been a man about it and took responsibility for the issue. While I was talking to him about this he turned his back to me and walked away. The baked potato looked two days old. Plus we waited over an hour for our food. The last time we were here the order was messed up from the get go but we wanted to give the place one last try. I am only giving it 3 stars because it used to be better. We went Saturday night to get wings and they changed them. Much smaller and not as tasty as they were just a few months ago. Just finished the Wings and Ribs combo...WOW!! The meat fell off the bone and the wings were cooked perfect! My wife had the Guinness steak and potato soup (the best soup I've had), buffalo shrimp and one of their award winning burgers...which she loved!!!
