For our main, we shared a pizza topped with mushrooms, pepperoni, prosciutto, and cheese, and it did not disappoint. Every bite was incredible. Our waiter really made the experience special, recommending a Pinot Grigio that paired perfectly with everything we ordered. Attentive without being intrusive, and clearly knew the menu inside and out. I left Al Fora with a huge smile on my face and a fully satisfied appetite. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! Pairing everything with a bottle of wine made it wonderful night. Osteria Doge Morosini has become a permanent place to visit when in the area.
