Luckily, we stumbled upon this gem. Grab and go, cheap alleyway pizza slices FOR THE WIN. The no-frills deliciously crunchy thin crust pizza slices from here are a must if you're in the mood for a quick inexpensive snack/lunch. The huge individual slices aren't adorned with a bunch of toppings, so don't expect anything out of this world. It's good for what it is: cheap, appetizing pizza slices to-go. + No visible signage out front

Nice place to stop for a big slice of pizza for €3,50. Like a thin NY slice, take to go on a piece of paper and eat on the square nearby!

We had no idea that this was a chain until later, but in retrospect, I can see the signs now…read more Regardless, this location had a lot in common with the other places we ate in Venice. The pizza here is the highlight, and indeed, it was pretty excellent, though I would say in general, we had nothing but excellent pizza while anywhere in Italy. The pasta we had was... just ok, and the very large salad we all split was really good. The best part of this place, and dining in Venice generally, is taking in all the sights and sounds while eating streetside. It's such a unique place to be, and without the sound of cars everywhere, still give you a little bit of that old world feel... speaking of Venice of course, because other than this being in an old building, everything inside Rossopomodoro was pretty modern. Sorry I don't have much more to say about the food at this place. We had a lot of memorable meals while in Italy, and this one just didn't stick out like the others, though it was perfectly fine.

The tell of how good Rossopomodora was immediately apparent when I got a text message saying my…read morecard was charged to McDonalds....yep...owned by the same folks that own the Mickey D's down the block. Really Mediocre luke warm food that was really meh. The Arancini was almost cold. Pizza was greasy and cold. Okay the Bombolina was not cold....but that's a donut...da. It was probably the best thing. Walk farther and avoid this place...there are too many places that serve better food.
