Pizza wasn't bad, 7/10. Just your standard pizza, but better than anything else I had in Venice. Service wasn't great though. I asked for a margarita pizza and the worker at the front gave me a cheese pizza. I clarified that I wanted a margarita with tomato, basil, and mozzeralla, and he said this is it. My husband and I ordered 4 flavors (2 each) but we should've just shared 3 instead. Order and pay at the counter, find a seat, and watch for your order to be done. Loved the wine options. The small space fills up quickly but we were lucky to find a spot for 2 by the window. It was a great spot to people watch the street outside as well. I had an absolutely horrible experience here. I ordered four pepperoni pizza slices, and while paying, I accidentally tapped my card for the wrong bill. Instead of handling it professionally, a tall blonde employee immediately snapped at me, saying, "Why would you put your card down? That's not your bill." I apologized right away, but she continued to act incredibly rude--rolling her eyes, shaking her head, and talking under her breath while processing the refund. It only got worse from there. When I reached for a slice that had been placed in front of me, she barked, "No, that's not yours." At that point, I felt completely unwelcome and didn't even want the food anymore, so I asked for a refund so I could leave. She refused, claiming the pizza was already in the oven and that I "had to pay for it." She then tried to say I only ordered one slice, when I very clearly ordered four. The entire situation was handled in the most unprofessional, hostile way possible. There was zero accountability, no basic customer service, and the way I was spoken to was completely unacceptable. Not to many places to sit because it was pretty packed, but we were lucky to find a long table towards the back of the room and we could people watch while we ate. This is a great place for morning coffee and pastry. We have had many of the food items there throughout the day since our lodging was close by. The croissants are very good (flakey on the outside and soft on the inside). The sandwiches are delicious and excellent but we discovered these are not available before 8 AM. The pizza during lunch is very good as well. And the prices are reasonable. Service was good. It's more of an order at the counter place and then self seating. It's a casual place. My only complaint is that sometimes there is not enough seating. It's too bad there isn't additional seating outside. But if you have time to wait, something will become available because it's a quick eat and go place. Overall, I highly recommend this place. read more

There's lots of indoor seating but it fills fast, especially because there is no outdoor seating. A single slice costs €4 as of October 2023. Farini is a solid spot to grab a quick and delicious bite while on your way through Venice. I wound up coming back three separate times. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to try as much of their menu as possible! My favorite item is the Crudo Prosciutto & Sott'olio Focaccia, which seems to sell out pretty quickly since I was only able to get it on one occasion. They also have a nice Cotto & Bufala Focaccia and several types of fresh croissants with either creme or fruit that are out of this world. We only had one real, full day in Venice, and I was making it a foodie day. We ended up eating fried street food and pasta earlier on, and we actually decided to skip Farini completely (or to maybe come back to it later on in the day). However, as we were walking, we came across this amazing looking pizza in a shop window, and I went inside to take some photos. Lo and behold, it was Farini, and the food looked so good that we stretched our bellies a little more to fit in a couple slices. We got the white pizza with zucchini and prosciutto and a slice of the one with tomato and some time of bitter greens. I'm sorry that I don't have a better description of the ingredients. Lol. The zucchini was an all-around hit, but the greens pizza was only to my liking. The fiance is not a vegetable fan... Unlike most pizzas we had in Italy, the crust was slightly more thick and there was more cheese. Maybe this isn't traditional Italian pizza, but whatever it is, it was delicious and I'm looking for it again when we return in the future. We also got a spritz to share, but this time we were asked if we wanted aperol or campari. Tip of the day: don't get campari. I didn't know what that was, and we thought we'd try it as something different. It tastes like pepper spray. AHHHHHH! We gave it back and got another one with aperol. Walk by any of the Farini stores and you'll see their doughy delicious pizzas on full display. This is not Roman thin crust pizza - it is doughy and dense - but also scrumptious. Don't get hung up on this being a bit of chain and swing by for a slice our two of their signature pizzas. Slices are oversized and topped with a variety of local goodies (those with meat are particularly delicious). Two slices will be enough to filly any belly. read more

The crust is a little rustic, soft, crispy, and bubbly all at the same time and baked to perfection. The toppings to crust ratio is just right. The cheese is outstanding and high quality. Yum! I love pizza & have tried quite a few here while in Italy, but this was definitely one of my favorites. I'm pretty sure this isn't true traditional Italian pizzas, but I loved the thicker bread their pizzas were served on here! I wasn't sure of the names of the pizzas we ordered, but I loved the ham and ricotta one as well as the specialty pizza that was baked on a black bread! The zucchini one was good too, but not a stand out. My group also ordered aperol spritz each. They were fruity, but also surprisingly strong. So that's a win-win in my book!
