Made reservation at 7pm on a Saturday in July just to be safe at the terrace table. Terrace seemed to be the popular seats as we passed through the restaurant to the terrace, we did not see any tables filled with guests but as soon as we stepped out to the terrace, it was full of guests dining there. Had to get the attention of the waiter to place an order or get a check for the bill, but food came out fast, great quality of steak and lobster, not in the picture but tiramisu was amazing as well. Not to mention how nice the weather was with the view from the terrace. Overall, great spot in the touristy city.

Cute spot, great views, and really good food. We were seated right away and got the food quite quickly. Our party tried the pesto pasta, sea bass, and the lasagna. Everyone was happy with their food! Unfortunately, service was a little mediocre. Though it wasn't very busy, nobody checked in on us or asked if anything else was needed

This place was recommended by our hotel. Staff are not friendly, you could sit and wait for 10+ minutes before someone attends to you. Place wasn't that busy when we went so not sure what the delay was. This is a very cute restaurant and have menus in English and Italians we got two pizza vegetarian that is made with any leftover vegetables so out pizza had chicks of onions, eggplants, spinach, asparagus and pepper. Surprisingly it was yummy. The other pizza was cheese and both were yum. The dough and crust were perfect and tasty. They have a good variety of wine list. You can get full or half bottle or a glass. I went with half a bottle of local Chianti which was priced comparable to what I would have paid in the USA. If you are close to the venue, go there for their pizza.

Appetizers- octopus salad and grilled scallops!

Ambiance by the water was perfect! Service was amazing! Conveniently located on grand canal and near the train station. Not to mention the food was delish! Very reasonably priced!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant right on the Grand Canal with beautiful flowers. They made a reservation for us. We started with the clam & mussel appetizer then shared a pizza. The waiter didn't understand & brought the pizza first & 3 minutes later our appetizer, there was no room on our table. The pizza was delicious but it wasn't cut so it was difficult to share. When I asked I was told they only cut pizza for child. Then came out to clams and mussels in a delicious white wine butter sauce. We dipped the bread in, it was delicious. We finished the evening with a tiramisu That was the light creamy and not too sweet. Perfect! The Prosecco was delicious as well. A very reasonable and delicious dinner. It was a beautiful night, the people at neighboring tables were friendly the service was attentive.

We were looking for lunch and wanted some pizza and pasta in Venice. We just happened to be walking by and a hostess invited us to try their restaurant. We had a table on the Grande Canal with great views and very friendly service. The Diavola pizza had a thin crispy crust that softened towards the middle. We had such a great lunch and we're so happy to have stopped in this great restaurant!

What a wonderful experience. We were seated in the back left corner at a small table for two. We had our backs to the restaurant, which was fine, as we ended up with a view of the canal, a bridge and the basilica. The food was amazing! I don't normally eat tomatoes but the caprice salad as so delicious I couldn't stop. The tomatoes were sweeter than the strawberries we get here in the states. The wine recommendations paired wonderfully well with our meals and the service was on point. Not a complaint, just a FYI, you have to ask for your cheque as they don't rush you out the door like in the US.

    Spaghetti with ragu

Went twice today in the span of 7 hours. Lunch I had the spaghetti ragu, wife had a pizza with the spicy sausage (like pepperoni) Dinner I had the fettuccini with half lobster in came in the shell (didn't know what to expect) wife had the spaghetti Ragu. All the food was good. Desserts were excellent I had creme caramel wife had creme brûlée. WOW. They were both incredible. Tried to get butter for the bread, asked 3X. No luck. I guess in Italy they don't do butter. Cianti was also excellent. Great view, great food, desserts amazing. Can't wait for lunch tomorrow!

BEST service! BEST canal view. BEST food. You can't go wrong. We walked in without reservation, but it was no prob! Back terrace seating w/ beautiful flowers & view of water are 10/10. We both ordered lasagna per a GLT recommendation & don't regret it! It's not the standard Al dente noodles, instead they cook it all together so that it melts in your mouth. Different. But yummy. Also had crème brûlée & it had a slight lemon flavoring. Again, different. But yummy. EAT HERE if you're lucky enough to visit Venice! Update: went back & tried lobster fettuccini & spaghetti Ragu.... Both equally as amazing!

Amazing food! Great service! Excellent ambiance & location need no words to describe!! Our first meal in Venice! Truly unforgettable experience!

They deboned the fish for you upon request, but still be careful.

On the ocean pretty good view, a bit slow. Plating is pretty nice. Only 2 minutes walk to the train station.

So good: customer service was actually good. Restaurant was very well insulated and heated. Nice feeling when you walk in from cold wind outside. The bad: food is just downright bad. Our vegetarian pizza was literally rubber pizza with vegetables thrown on the top. Boiled spinach, boiled carrots (yes boiled carrots), green peas (yes yes green peas) and God knows what. Beef lasagne was not edible. For someone who loves lasagne to not be able to even eat 1/4 even when you haven't eaten for hours before, is saying something! Avoid if you can. Not sure how are they getting those high stars. Beats me!!

    More beautiful terrace views :)

Walking down a street in Venice near the St. Lucia Train Station we decided to go eat at this restaurant (mainly because it has a canal view from a terrace lol) but ultimately we were happy with our food and service which gave us an excellent experience overall. Tasty food definitely compliments a good view :) definitely recommended! :D

For dinner in peak season, try to make a reservation as the restaurant is very small. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately inside and greeted warmly by the restaurant owner. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (most under 20 Euros for a 75 ML bottle). For appetizers we ordered the cheese with honey for 13 Euros, absolutely amazing! We also combined this with the local olive oil and fresh bread brought to the table to start as well. For our second course we chose two pastas, the Penne Alla Amatriciana (I think it was around 12 Euros), and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (I think it was around 12 Euros as well). Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation. For our entree we split the breaded pork chop (I think it was around 20 Euros), including a side of potatoes (similar to the steak fries that you would see in the U.S.) The service was absolutely amazing and we loved dining alongside the owner and his family and meeting the cat that also lives at the restaurant and comes by to greet you during the meal as well. It truly was like you were dining at the home of the owner and is a must try if you are in Venice!

Servers were welcoming and answered questions my friend and I had about the menu. The steak platter was AMAZING. 10/10. Truly such a memorable meal. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Definitely get the Lombatello steak if you are feeling carnivorous…read more Throngs of lively people sipping wine and snacking on cichetti late into the evening along the canal. The cichetti selection looked very good (variety thinned out throughout the night), but our party of 3 was starving and we opted to sit inside for a late ~8:30pm dinner. We got one order of grilled lamb and the Lombatello steak for 2. The lamb was also good, no gamey taste. The Lombatello steak was simply fantastic, choose this cut specifically!! A heaping pile of medium-rare meat (cannot buy single portions) that was very tender and flavorful. It's cushioned with steak fries and grilled veggies on the side. Paired with two glasses of house wine, this meal was fantastic. Ended up with a to go box of steak and fries. Servers are very busy, bustling around clearing tables, taking orders, etc, but they are vigilant if you need anything. We saw one table of ~10 order a steak platter, and it was a sight to behold - a massive wooden cutting board packed with steak, transported by two waiters.
