I'm a SF Giants season ticket holder and attend a ton of games each year since they open Oracle/AT&T/Pac Bell Park. We patronize Da Poke Man stand located in the corner just under the evaluator to the Club level. Usually, it's a fun positive experience but in the last week of the 2023 season vs Dodgers I encountered the "mean cafeteria lunch lady" from elementary school. Being a season ticket member we get 20% of all souvenirs and concessions at the ballpark with an easy scan of a bar code. The order taker / cashier was that rude nightmarish lunch lady minus just the hairnet. She was mean rude and obviously hates being there. She was all hot and bothered when I was to scan my bar code for the discount. It's too bad because the food is still good. Hopefully, next season they can hire more hospitable staff.

What was life like before Yelp,Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter??? A few years ago, I was down in LA trying to look for Roy Choi's Kogi truck. The truck was moving around throughout the day. Where the heck is this truck at? People would say, " Follow the on the 'gram" ( I didn't have Instagram at that time). After some more investigation, I finally found the truck! These days, people let you know days in advance where they are going to be at. I didn't have to look hard for Da Poke-Man truck! Walked up to the truck and got my food in less than 10 minutes. Quick and friendly service. $13 dollars for plate of poke. Loved the traditional poke and loved it with the spicy sauce on top even more! "Broke da mouth" Follow their Instagram for locations and times.

Seafood holds a near and dear place in my heart, so I'm glad I got to try this spot out. I always see the truck is in serramonte mall every Tuesday, but never got around to try it. I tried ordering online, and it was kind of confusing because it was charging for a different spot, so I axe'd that idea just in case. I decided to walk up and order the traditional ahi poke with limu. The poke was incredible! It was so fresh with the right amount of seasoning on the tuna. I thoroughly enjoyed it with my rice and salad. I knocked off a point for value. I get it, fish is expensive, however, I've been to poke spots that give you a combination of items for the same price. The great thing about this place though is that they marinate their tuna or salmon, which adds to the flavor! It's definitely a spot to check out for quality poke!

What a lovely surprise at Oracle Park! It's a fresh option and tasty addition to the stadium selection.

@offthegridsf by SFO yesterday, we once again had an opportunity to check out what was there and we came across this food truck. The truck looked so neat and clean and highly eye catching because of the design and most specially when you see the photos of their menu and Hawaiian drink varieties. We ordered Ahi tuna and the Salmon and they looked so good. The prices were affordable and reasonable too. Once we got to seat down to enjoy our meals it was very tasty and delicious. Will definitely try them again next time for sure!

Once you try and eat this POKE, you just can't ever have enough. I like the benefit of the various areas they travel to. The advantage of the truck being close to your neighborhood or city to get some are the perks of being mobile. Thank you Ray for sharing your delicious makings of poke.

Ahi Tuna- sorry for the bad photo my mom couldn't wait and almost finished it lol mom approved !

My mom's order from me before going to OTD was she wanted to try this truck. I personally do not eat raw fish, but I have a lot of family that loves poke. The food truck for the Serramonte OTD was awesome, there was no line, but they had lots of orders. The lady that took my order was very friendly, and my order was ready within 5 minutes. I got my mom the traditional Ahi Tuna poke, and when I got home I had the intentions of taking a beautiful picture of it, but then my mom ate it before I could. She really liked it and said everything was very fresh, and it was delicious. If it's mom approved then it must be grade A! Now I know why this place is very popular- for their quality and freshness and overall friendly customer service. Mahalo!

This is the only food truck i chase. Da Poke Man serves quality. I seriously got my friends onto this and you dont need much persauding bc once they try the flavor and complexity of seasonings with fresh raw seafood, theyre absolutely sold. I recommend everything on the menu. The simplicity of soy sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds, fresh seaweed and salt is what keeps me coming back. This is seriously a poke lover / eaters paradise truck. As close to authenticity and hawaii as you can get I've always been a fan of their shrimp option, but its always sold out I always get the spicy ahi tuna and non spicy option. They've recently added albacore tuna, i like it but my one and only time it had alot of bones.... a bit risque for me since i eat fast. Theres also a salmon option, i personally dont love salmon but i gave it a try bc its Da Poke Man and the flavor is all there, i just personally dont love salmon. I love how hes also health conscious (besides the fact that this truck serves pure protein and fatty omega 3s) he also has a mixed greens option to accompany your fish vs rice

Also, nothing is served with mac salad... The prices are pretty decent for SF. Maybe that's why this place is popular. They are takeout only and have one bench outside for you to eat at if it's free. Tried the garlic shrimp, the moco loco (idk why they swap the words), and the furikake chicken. Also had a spam musubi (when I ordered online for pick up, I couldn't add egg which is usually an option according to the Toast website). The garlic shrimp was missing a flavor that Hawaii has in their garlic shrimp. The color was very red but it was not spicy. They do have an option to make it spicy though. It was bland to me compared to what I'm used to when I visit Hawaii. The moco loco gravy was good, but the beef patty tasted dry and overcooked. They did have a runny egg too but it was oddly underneath the patties, so we broke the eggs while trying to split the beef amongst 3 people. The furikake chicken is probably better if you eat it right away since it's lightly breaded. We took it home so by the time we ate it, it was soggy. The sauce it is cooked in is a little sweet and wasn't too bad. The soggy chicken ruined the texture for me though. Each dish was served with a little bit of cabbage which I liked to get a little greens in the meals. The spam musubi didn't taste like it had any sauce, and they used so much furikake underneath the spam, that it made it taste fishy. Would not recommend. I can't comment on the service much since I ordered online for pickup. The guy who handed me my food after asking my name was nice and polite though. The only reason I'd come back is to try to the shave ice. The group in front of me got 3 for their kids, and it looked tasty. I would not come back for the food, but at least the prices aren't bad for SF standards.

It was cooked fine, but the flavor was just okay. The Kalbi Short Ribs were also just okay. They were cooked fine, but really had little to no flavor. Definitely have had better. As for the Wings, we got the Pa'ina, Sriracha Honey,Salt and Pepper, Garlic Cilantro, and Spicy Mango. The Pa'ina has Sweet Chili Glaze, but too us was just spicy and didn't really have much flavor beyond that. In comparison, the Sriracha Honey we thought had more flavor besides its heat. The Salt and Pepper was a disappointment. It didn't have much flavor and was actually the least tasty of all of them. It was moist like the rest of them, but wish that the Skin was crispy like you expect Dry Rub Wings to be instead of being soggy. The Garlic Cilantro was a good combination with the Fish Sauce, Cilantro, Garlic, Serrano, and Lime Juice if you like Cilantro. The Spicy Mango was actually no really spicy and had a good Mango flavor to it, not that artificial Mango flavor you get with some things Plus, the Ube Colada was thankfully not too sweet, and was well balanced in Alcohol to drink ratio instead of barely tasting the Alcohol or the Ube. The Lychee-tini was also well balanced in both the Lychee and Alcohol flavor. Overall, great drinks, service, and food. Definitely would come here again and try more yummy food.

I asked where he got it, and he pointed me to a spot just down the street (not to be confused with the other Hawaiian BBQ place close by called Aloha). I pass this place all the time, but the parking is terrible, so I usually just keep driving. Yesterday I happened to be on foot and finally stopped in. I noticed a PASS inspection sticker in the window (isn't it usually an A? I'll Google that later). It's strictly a food shop. No tables, no décor, nothing fancy. Just a big menu on the wall type of place. The menu is simple about 4-5 meat options and a few sides, and you build your combo. I ordered a small plate since I tend to overeat and appreciated that option. I got the chicken katsu with rice and mac salad and it was perfectly portioned. The chicken was great. No notes. The steamed rice was just a little overcooked but still tasty. The mac salad was decent, though I expected a bit more from what seemed like an authentic spot. Oh and of course, the sauce, so good. My only complaint is they need to pack two sauces in the to go bag, not one. Total came to $10.85, which feels like a steal. It completely satisfied me and definitely beats driving all the way to Chipotle (my usual lunch stop) and spending $15-$18. No photo because I was too hungry and ate it in the car. I'm excited to bring my husband back and see what he thinks.

This left the rest of the bowl lacking flavor and having dry rice. It seems like they just threw in a bunch of random ingredients to take up space in the bowl. I mean, carrots and tortilla strips are definitely interesting choices for a poke bowl. The portion was relatively small for what you pay. The amount of avocado given was just sad. You also aren't able to make adjustments to add other things to the bowl - you're stuck with what is set in the description. For this spot being a very small hole in the wall, I thought I would be noticed and assisted quickly. I was the only person in there but had to wait an unreasonably long time to get my order. But unfortunately as much as I wanted to rate this place higher, the food isn't just on par.
