    Bulgogi Taco
    Kayee C.

Went to Fuelfest and they had a food truck there, they were sold out of everything except the tacos and Philly cheesesteak so I tried the taco. Very flavorful and decent sized but kinda pricy for $10 for a single taco. Has bulgogi beef and kimchi.

Found this food stand at the Neon Night Market in San Leandro this past Friday. Though the menu provided a good range of delicious options, the vendor was out of several items and was only offering bulgogi on this day for choice of meat. I got a bulgogi quesadilla without kimchi. Service was super friendly, and my order took about 10-15 minutes to be ready. I watched the guy pile on the cheese and meat while grilling the tortilla... it smelled amazing. It was also massive, the size of 2 quesadillas in one, melted cheese oozing out of the oversized tortilla which was cut in half to make it easier to eat. The bulgogi was slightly lacking in flavor (wish they had offered other meat options), but the cheesiness made up for it. Overall, it was a filling meal with plenty of leftovers for later.

I've tried Korean Papi's bulgogi fries, the cheesesteak, and their tacos -- and every single thing was divine. The flavors are immaculate, super well-balanced, and honestly way better than I expected. You can tell they put a lot of care into the seasoning and how everything comes together. The bulgogi fries are a MUST -- perfectly crispy, loaded, and super satisfying. The cheesesteak is rich and flavorful without being heavy, and the tacos? So good I could've ordered another round. If I had to choose my favorite of the 3... hands down the bulgogi cheesesteak!! Service was fast, the portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. Definitely one of my new favorite food spots. Highly recommend!!!!

These were amazing tacos! The flavors really worked so well together. Fresh and delicious. Want to try the fried chicken next.

Fresh ingredients, made to order! We tried the pork belly bowl with an egg at Fort Mason and it was worth the long line. The staff worked their tails off that night- way to go! Happy customers!

    KPK Special "KIMCHI FRIED RICE"

I had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Korean Papi's Kitchen during one of his recent events at Clandestine Brewing in San Jose. I was brought in to provide the music and vibes, and let me just say... the moment I got a whiff of that sizzling magic and aroma of that bbq goodness, I knew I was in for something special. Now, I've had a lot of food at events I've DJed for, but nothing compares to the flavor, passion, and creativity that comes out of this kitchen. As soon as Korean Papi handed me a plate of his signature kimchi fried rice, it was game over. I don't even know how to fully describe it. It was spicy, savory, perfectly balanced, and packed with umami in every bite. The kimchi had just the right punch, the rice was perfectly cooked, and whatever secret sauce he adds in there? Chef's kiss. I went back for seconds. Then thirds. Don't judge me. What made the whole experience even better was sharing it with my people. I brought a group of family and friends who were trying Korean Papi's food for the very first time, and they were all raving about it. Everyone had their own favorite item, but the kimchi fried rice was definitely the star of the show. You could see their eyes light up after the first bite. The portions were generous, the presentation was on point, and the vibe from the whole Korean Papi's team was just good energy all around. You can feel how much love and culture is poured into every dish. This isn't just food. It's soul. It's flavor therapy. It's the kind of experience you crave again the second your plate is empty. Whether you're a longtime lover of Korean flavors or you've never tried anything beyond BBQ, trust me...Korean Papi's Kitchen will open up your taste buds to a whole new world. Thank you again for feeding me and my crew so well, Korean Papi! I'll be spreading the word and bringing more people your way.

We were at the Harajuku event in Benicia Sunday afternoon. I decided to try their tacos because it was definitely the most affordable item out of every other vendor there. We went all around and when we got hungry came back. The tacos were delicious and definitely the best choice because we ate it all (me and my kid) Service was great and fast. Others were in front of me and my other still didn't take long. I'd definitely suggest them for a catering event or if you come across Korean Papi at a local public event for sure try them out. If they had a permanent location I'd definitely go too When I got our tacos I asked the chef if he was the character on the toothpick and he happily said yea haha

Absolutely recommend Korean Papi's Kitchen! The food is so good. I tried the bulgogi fries and they were amazing. The staff are also incredibly friendly and make the experience even better. If you spot them around, definitely stop by you won't be disappointed!

I sent a request via Yelp app and Marsha suggested I send an email. This was on a Sunday and the event was in 2 weeks ! When I didn't hear anything via email or a call I called the office and spoke to Ben who apologized for the lack of communication and he would respond via email, which he did a few hours later. After several emails from Ben we were able to settle on a menu in just a few days! We were looking for a Hawaiian fusion themed menu and Ben & his staffto came up with a great menu. W Some of our many items that was a huge hit with our guests were Vietnamese vegan rolls, miso glazed black code, a toss green salad with Edamame and Asian dressing, crab deviled eggs, scallops spoon, chimichuri steak crostini, short ribs skewers, Asian style lamb meatballs, and dessert of fruit cups and mini cupcakes were perfect. There was a few dishes that wasn't as successful but overall everyone enjoyed the food. We had pre arranged to have someone to meet the catering staff early for setup but due to unknown delays they did show up until an hour before the service started which also ment they were rushed to setup the food but they did a good job to get the hot and cold foods setup before the end of the service. Overall they did a good job and the food excellent but arriving late to the event and poor timing to replenish empty dishes was disappointing also dessert wasn't served until most guest departed. We enjoyed working with Ben and appreciated the communication once it was established.

She also substituted a couple of onigiri for the eggrolls that we don't usually eat, so that's a plus! The tray's presentation was, again, excellent. Garlic noodles were delicious, beef and chicken skewers tender and delectable, cha trung (?) very flavorful, and empanadas yummy! Honestly, I wish I hadn't wasted so much time exploring other options because City exceeded even my highest expectations. The party was at a nightclub in the Castro, and the delivery was perfectly on time. The customer service 1000%. They even provided custom cards for each dish so guests knew exactly what they were eating, a small but thoughtful touch that people really appreciated. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, chicken, smoked portobello mushrooms, barbecue sauces, mac & cheese, potato salad, and tossed salad. With an open bar, I didn't expect the food to steal the show, but it did. Friends and family were raving all night, , "Where is this food from?" The next day, my phone was blowing up with texts about the brisket, the mac & cheese, the works. (For the record: I'm extremely picky about mac & cheese, and City nailed it.) My cousin from the Midwest said that the portobello mushrooms were his favorite. The portions were so generous we had enough to host a next-day gathering to enjoy the leftovers, though the mac & cheese disappeared the night of the party so order extra! In a city like San Francisco, where great BBQ is rare, I only wish City Smoke House had a brick-and-mortar location I could frequent.
