    Customizable bowl
    Serena M.

I finally gave this place a shot and don't regret it, but probably won't be rushing back. The fish quality was pretty good and I liked that the bowls were customizable and came with miso soup, but it didn't blow my mind for the cost ($50 for 2 bowls). There is very limited seating outside on the sidewalk, so we took it over to Fort Mason to sit on the field. There were at least 4 people working at once and they were very nice, I just don't know if I can justify coming back for the high price tag when there are other options like Basa in the city.

Finally decided to try this spot that has been in my neighborhood for a while now The ingredients are all high-quality and you can taste it. I em was very pleased with the fresh salmon and tuna i got, as well as the greens, rice and toppings. That being said, you are paying a premium for the quality, and the quantity of proteins is going to be smaller than what you might get at other poke spots. The guy behind the counter was energetic and welcoming, and the woman who took my order was helpful.

I was walking by and craving something on the healthier side when I spotted Happy Poke and I am so glad I stopped in. I ordered the Happy Poke Favorite Combo and was honestly stunned by how incredible everything tasted. First of all the presentation was beautiful. Everything looked so fresh, colorful and thoughtfully put together. But the real star was the fish quality, absolutely outstanding. It tasted so fresh and clean, easily some of the best I have ever had. I have had poke dozens of times at different places and this was by far my favorite poke experience. Every ingredient complemented each other perfectly and you can really tell they care about quality here. I 100 percent recommend this place and will definitely be stopping by whenever I am craving poke again

This place is a grab and go poke spot. You order on a sheet of paper and then they assemble it in front of you. They slice the fish in front of you as well. They have many options for toppings which I liked. The staff was very kind. Let me sample some sauces and answered my questions. The inside is clean and doesn't smell fishy. The bowl tastes good. I will say for the price, I wish they would give more fish and bigger quantity. The toppings tasted fresh though!

Really good addition to cow hollow/Marina! The fish is super fresh and they slice it like sashimi. Felt authentic and I liked that they didn't drench your bowl with sauce like other places sometimes do. Small grab and go vibe, super efficient. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.

Yummy poke! It's definitely a grab-and-go kind of place. They have you clipboards to fill out your order, and the food is ready in just a few minutes. Super efficient. There's no bathroom or indoor seating, but they do have two small outdoor tables that can seat about 4-6 people total (with a bench). The staff was fantastic--really friendly, attentive, and even came out to check on us and take our trash. That kind of service goes a long way. As for the food: the flavors were solid, and everything tasted fresh. One slightly odd thing was how finely they sliced the fish as one is prepping plate. Instead of adding the cut piece of tuna or whole shrimp, meat was precisely cut again until thin, then layered. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Great spot if you're in the area and looking for something quick and tasty!

Still one of my favorites and got the unagi bowl. Might I add, so good. So so so good. Soft tasty. I love talking to the owner. He's super sweet. Will definitely be back for that unagi bowl cause that was amazing. I also didn't realize the carrots had a spice to it!

    Hamachi

I have mixed feelings about this poke spot because the first time I visited, it was so good! They gave large portions of fish and it tasted pretty fresh. But today I ordered it online through DoorDash and the fish didn't taste fresh at all. And it kept falling apart. Specifically the hamachi, the salmon tasted fine. It's possible they're having a really bad day... :/

Yep, this place is as great as the reviews say. The fish is fresh (it's sliced and served like sashimi instead of cubed like regular poke) and the ingredients are great quality. The staff is also SO kind, even giving us samples of sauces when we couldn't decide what to get. Each poke comes with miso soup, which was some of the best miso soup in the city. We also got the peach boba, which had large soft boba and was highly caffeinated. It was decent and not too sweet. The attention to detail here is unmatched, my favorite poke in the city!

    Poke bowl with fried tofu!

This place is such a gem! They opened just a few weeks ago and it's a small shop that does poke bowls to go. There's a small bench outside where you can sit and enjoy your poke. Fish is so fresh since it's sashimi grade fish! They slice it in front of you and the portions are great too. Each poke bowl order comes with a side of miso soup. There's also an option to add ikura to your bowl which is my favorite! Boba drinks are also available and those are delicious too! Especially their matcha drinks. Owner also sells some special items on the weekends. A favorite of mine is their fried tofu. So perfectly crispy and delicious!

Cute, little poke spot in the Marina area. I ordered a poke bowl which and chose salmon and tuna for my protein. Sushi rice was perfectly sticky. I loved that the fish was sliced right in front of me and it was melt in your mouth fresh. Oreo Tiramisu Smoothie was a good dessert afterwards. I loved the subtle coffee taste and the boba wasn't too chewy. The only seating is a small bench outside but that's just a minor complaint.

I did a create my own poke bowl and it was amazing! The presentation made me start eating before I took a picture. Friendly service, super quick and a cup of miso soup was much appreciated. The kids loved their boba tea too.

We got the Garlic Noodles, Pork Belly Taco, Kalbi Short Ribs, and of course the Wings, as well as the Ube Colada and Lychee-tini. The Garlic Noodles were delicious. Couldn't stop going back for more with the yummy Garlic flavor. If you love Garlic, you will definitely love these Noodles. The Pork Belly Tacos were just okay. It was cooked fine, but the flavor was just okay. The Kalbi Short Ribs were also just okay. They were cooked fine, but really had little to no flavor. Definitely have had better. As for the Wings, we got the Pa'ina, Sriracha Honey,Salt and Pepper, Garlic Cilantro, and Spicy Mango. The Pa'ina has Sweet Chili Glaze, but too us was just spicy and didn't really have much flavor beyond that. In comparison, the Sriracha Honey we thought had more flavor besides its heat. The Salt and Pepper was a disappointment. It didn't have much flavor and was actually the least tasty of all of them. It was moist like the rest of them, but wish that the Skin was crispy like you expect Dry Rub Wings to be instead of being soggy. The Garlic Cilantro was a good combination with the Fish Sauce, Cilantro, Garlic, Serrano, and Lime Juice if you like Cilantro. The Spicy Mango was actually no really spicy and had a good Mango flavor to it, not that artificial Mango flavor you get with some things Plus, the Ube Colada was thankfully not too sweet, and was well balanced in Alcohol to drink ratio instead of barely tasting the Alcohol or the Ube. The Lychee-tini was also well balanced in both the Lychee and Alcohol flavor. Overall, great drinks, service, and food. Definitely would come here again and try more yummy food.

I was disappointed to find the bowl very bland and flavorless. It felt dry. The only sauce was mixed with the salmon pieces and didn't really taste like anything. This left the rest of the bowl lacking flavor and having dry rice. It seems like they just threw in a bunch of random ingredients to take up space in the bowl. I mean, carrots and tortilla strips are definitely interesting choices for a poke bowl. The portion was relatively small for what you pay. The amount of avocado given was just sad. You also aren't able to make adjustments to add other things to the bowl - you're stuck with what is set in the description. For this spot being a very small hole in the wall, I thought I would be noticed and assisted quickly. I was the only person in there but had to wait an unreasonably long time to get my order. I placed the order online long before I walked to the restaurant during my lunch break. When I got there, I sat waiting for probably 10 or so minutes before someone even came out from the back to hand me my food. Maybe their other menu items are better, but I wouldn't recommend Kitchen Aloha for their poke bowls.

From the moment we sat down, the sushi train immediately caught everyone's attention. Once we submit our order in the iPad, the bullet style train brought the food to our table.
