We have been fortunate enough to have used Diego and his team 3 times in the last 2 years (long story). They are great! Fast, fast, fast, polite and really nice guys. They are expert in packing large screen TVs and paintings - and are prepared with supplies to pack up all those last minute items that are forgotten or extra bulky. Got furniture that needs to be taken apart and reassembled? No problem - all part of the deal. These guys are real professionals with a remarkable business ethic. They are there to do the job right and not to screw you over (we once hired movers who refused to unload until we paid a higher price than was quoted). Nothing has ever been damaged and I still can't figure out how they got a large bookcase into a small elevator! Very fast in giving a quote and providing insurance documentation if your building requires it. Great communication before and during the move. One word of advice, when unloading, know where you want things put ahead of time, because they move fast! If you still are not sure, take a look at all the reviews that are not "recommended." All are glowing. The only reason I can think of that they are not recommended is because people forgot to click number of stars. There's a reason so many people use them over and over! read more

Diego and his crew were absolutely wonderful! They helped me to move from an apartment in Forest Hills to Kew Gardens and were super efficient, responsive, and flexible throughout the whole process; they arrived promptly at 9:00am as scheduled, had everything loaded up and ready to go in a little over an hour, and would have had everything moved into my new place within the standard 3-hour window if not for my over-sized couch. However, Diego and his crew were real champs when it came to the couch; they spent at least 45-minutes trying everything they could to get it in the elevator of the new building and/or up the stairwell before we all finally gave up (it wasn't going to fit and I had to just call a sofa disassembly company to help later in the day), and it was clear that they were trying to do everything they could to save me the extra expense of having to call in another company. Diego was also extremely responsive via email throughout the booking/scheduling process and overall, DA Moving Company was very reasonably priced (I had another company try to quote me double DA's rates even though the two apartments were 20-minutes apart walking distance). We hired DA Moving Service for my sister to move from Queens to CT.  It was a big move with a huge amount of stuff.  Diego, Nate, and Jose were incredibly friendly and professional.  We did not have time to finish packing the kitchen and they did it in a fraction of the amount of time it would have taken us, and there were no broken items.  They masterfully loaded the truck using every ounce of space- which was needed.  They were extremely efficient and timely.  There were no issues with the fact that it wasn't a local move, and their prices were very affordable.  Moving is normally a very stressful experience and this team really alleviated the stress and just made us feel at ease.  For my sister and I that was priceless,  I can't emphasis the value of how they really made this a smooth moving experience.  I highly recommend DA Movers, I've already told family and friends to use them for their future moves. read more

Diego and the other two men on his team (I'm embarrassed to say that I forgot to ask their names) did a great job with my move today. I was only moving from one storage unit to another in the area, but the rate was reasonable, they showed up on time, worked quickly and carefully and unpacked my belongings into the new storage unit so well that there's plenty of extra room for additional items (which is something I need). I didn't realize how poorly my previous storage unit was unpacked by other movers until I saw the results today. Diego accepted the job on short notice since it was a last minute decision of mine to move my stuff, and I really appreciated that because I don't like to wait long once I decide to do something. ;0) I would definitely hire Diego and his team again for my next move and I highly recommend them. read more

Diego and his team were absolutely amazing yesterday moving my roommate and I out of a 3rd floor walk up in Hoboken into a 4th floor walk up around the corner. They arrived right on time and got right to work. Every piece of furniture was wrapped and cared for and there was not one sight of any damage. They were like an assembly line packaging everything up, getting it up and down stairs and putting it into the truck. Diego estimated the job would take 4 hours and it ended up being over in exactly 3. His prices are so reasonable and he and his team were so nice and personable. Diego and his team helped move my daughter from her apartment in Washington Heights back home to Jackson Heights. The move was quick and extremely free of stress. They arrive on time and Gary quickly moved her things into the truck while Diego took apart her bed. It took less than 30 minutes to travel to Jackson Heights and Gary immediately unpacked her things and placed them in the requested place. Diego put together her bed with Gary in less than 15 minutes.Nate also assisted in moving some of her things but special praise to Gary who did most of the moving. I'll admit I was a little skeptical at first. I mean, who gets ALL five-star reviews?? BELIEVE IT. Diego, Jose and Nate were THE BEST. Prompt, efficient, polite, and well-prepared. The fees were exactly as discussed up-front, with no surprise costs. The three of them arrived exactly on time, took a look around and immediately got to work. The entire move took exactly the amount of time Diego had estimated when I asked him ahead of time. Everything was well-protected. I had the pleasure of hiring Diego twice now, once out of my apartment and into storage, and then back out of storage into our new place almost a year later. both times were a breeze. the truck appeared just before the scheduled time and they got things done a lot quicker than expected both times. the crew are very nice and take specific direction expertly including handling delicate equipment, artwork and a piano. the move in was up a difficult stairway: four flights with tight turns. we suffered no accidents, no scuff marks on walls. very neat, very smooth, very professional. on top of being punctual and quick add honest, reliable straightforward and trustworthy. i am entirely pleased that i found this crew. read more

DA Moving was the best. They did two trips in one day (moved 2 locations into one new place) in only 4 and half hours. And our first stop was in Long Island! They were so fast and more importantly, extremely nice and considerate. I coordinated with Diego (the owner it seems based off of the name) for all of the booking and he was very flexible when it came to our moving list. Since they mostly charge for time and not the amount to be moved (though obviously those can be related), it was an easy process. I called Diego & his crew for a move from Sunnyside to Elmhurst. I was looking for movers that were insured and near the area. He showed up on time and went to work right away with his guys. They disassembled and reassembled furniture for me and it was very fast and efficient. They brought all of their own tools and padded the furniture so it wouldn't get damaged. They also have their own truck so you don't have to rent one. My move was really seamless thanks to them and I will refer them to my friends and recommend them to anyone reading this as well. Moving is....well a gut wrenching nerve wracking operation...and Diego of DA Moving is a mover extraordinaire...
