We were strolling near the Grand Canal in Venice and found this cute little cafe. There was a "happy hour" sign out front so we decided to stop in. (Just before 7:00 on a Wednesday.). I ordered an Aperol Spritz, only 4.5 euros, and my husband ordered a medium Italian beer, 6.5 euros. We also decided to get a pizza with "spicy sausage," which were basically pepperoni. The drinks were cold and the pizza was delicious and flaky! Plus it was big enough for 2 to share, and a good deal at 9.5 euros.
What makes this place special is the view of the Grand Canal at San Marco. It's in a perfect spot for people watching; and the service was outstanding! read more
