Food (4/5): We ordered the lobster tagliatelle and truffle ravioli. The lobster tagliatelle was quite good with an impressive looking half lobster with solid meat on the tail. The pasta itself and the sauce was quite good and the meat of the lobster was delicious. The truffle ravioli was quite good as well with plenty of truffles on it although a small amount of ravioli. Overall good food although portions a bit small. Service (4/5): The place is very busy but they seated us quickly and took our order relatively efficiently. The food took a bit around 15 minutes to come out. Ambiance (4/5): It's a nice looking restaurant albeit a bit small on the inside. It's nicely decorated with wine glasses and ceiling glass lights.

    great ham and mozz appetizer

Fantastico! (That's about half of what I know in Italian) But definitely describes this place. We were looking around for something to eat for lunch and were grabbed by one of the waiters. He was super friendly and we decided to give it a shot. The ham and mozzarella cheese appetizer plate was awesome! Mozz was so fresh, ham was super tasty. Then we had the lobster pasta, super good, and the ham pizza, which was amazing. I only wish that I was even more hungry because we couldn't finish everything. Bonus was that we were wandering around lost afterwards and bumped into our waiter who had just gotten off of work. He took the time to walk with us to give directions! Great experience, highly recommend.

There was a very nice, conversational host outside who convinced us to come in and try the food. i made sure to check the yelp reviews beforehand and since it was four stars, we gave it a shot. Decent chardonnay and beer, but the food portions were surprisingly small, especially the steak. "Baked potato," which was paired with the steak, was quite literally baked chunks of potato. Didn't taste bad but it was a minor shock to the system at first glance. The lasagna was good, but it could've used something on the side to counter its density. Limoncello shots on the house at the end of the meal left us feeling nice and fuzzy, but overall, I left wishing for just a little more.

    Lobster fettuccine Pork chops

Great service and good though a little pricey. We ordered lobster fettucine, pork chops, prosciutto and mozzarella and a desert. The lobster was very small and there was only about 3 bites of lobster.

    Black truffle pasta!!! Delicious!!

We were looking for a late night "snack" after a tour we had, and found this place was open till 11. We were seated right away and waited on attentively. I ended up selecting the black truffle fettuccine. It was divine!! The pasta melted in your mouth and the black truffles didn't over power the dish. So delicious! I also had a bite of the grilled octopus, which maybe be one of my favorite bites of pulpi ever, and that's saying a lot!!

The food was fine but not truly authentic and not freshly made. I want to say I'm a foodie and desire quality and cultural authenticity when traveling. I'd advise tourist against this place. We ordered margarita pizza and the mozzarella on top was not fresh, it was shredded and chewy...there was no basil and it was obvious that the dough was frozen before cooking or the whole pizza was because the texture of the dough was not the fresh doughy taste and tenderness, it was almost hard. A little better than america take out but nothing to write home about. And when in Italy I better wanna write home about pizza I ate here. They try to at track tourists with the multi lingual menus and dish names similar to the ones in america. I feel like this is a tourist trap. We also ordered spaghetti with seafood. The spaghetti was kind of al Dante, not the texture I'm looking forward to when eating it with seafood and sauce... The seafood was fine, the dish wasn't spectacular. Just didn't taste like I was having a delicious authentic meal. The service was fine, not very attentive, the food came out way too fast. The prices are also on the steeper side especially for the lack of quality. Take your hard earned $$ to a better restaurant such as Rossopomodoro (which is incredible).

We've eaten at 3 restaurants and this one has been the best one so far. We ordered a margherita pizza, lasagne Ragu and seafood spaghetti and everything was flavored very well. And a bonus it was the most reasonably priced meal by far!!

Average at best. After spending a week in Italy and staying with Italian friends in Florence we stumbled upon this place our first night in Venice. While in Florence my friends mentioned that Fettucine Alfredo is in fact, not Italian, and is an Americanized dish. As soon as Michael saw that on the menu it was all over but we were starving and had already ordered a bottle of wine. The service was okay, and the food was okay, nothing spectacular. I had gnocchi and it was average but satisfied my hunger. Michael had tortellini that we have made better ourselves. The prawns in my opinion were disgusting. I took one bite and could barely stomach it. If you ask me, walk a few restaurants down and go to Trattoria Leonicini, much better.

Went here recently on a holiday with my boyfriend on a fairly low budget. We were hoping to find some of the 'hidden gems' we had read about, where we wouldn't need to pay extensive prices for a decent meal. Our overall opinion was that it was very plain, and just 'good'. I had a chicken and mushroom pasta dish and my boyfriend had chicken and chips, which we were both daily decent portions but a little tasteless. For the prices - €14 & €17 - it wasn't too impressive. The service was fine, but not overly friendly. However, we were greeted with a complimentary Bellini cocktail and it had a nice atmosphere.

Family and I wanted to enjoy our last dinner in Venice with something special (and also bc it was our Christmas dinner). Anyway. We started with an order of calamari and it was a huge portion. Only thing was when my hubby got his lobster and fettuccine - from the pictures online it looked like he was supposed to get a whole lobster. It was not. It was one claw and half the tail. Lots of pasta but oh well it also was overcooked lobster. Other than that everything was delicious. The limoncello was a nice end. I would say it was a good last meal just make sure to find out about ur lobster before ordering to see how much you get. :/ I will say the portions are good!!

This place is not bad at all. The waiters were polite and welcoming, spoke good english. Place is nice. I ordered Spaghetti with mussel, was cooked al dente. Then squid, very tender, deliciously seasoned. Dessert was tiramisu, tasty. Same menu, for two people was 68 euro. Then the doorman (?) mentioned that tips were not included in the bill, so I put a bit more. Bottom line, this place not bad at all, but also not outstanding. Will I come back? Sure. I'm not that picky nor peckish. Will I brought someone I'd like to impress? Probably not.

Ate here twice during my stay in Venezia just because everything we had was perfection! The tagliatelle with lobster is so satisfying. And the servers are very friendly!

Wanted to avoid the "touristy" restaurants while in Venice and this was the perfect spot! Great food, great atmosphere, and very reasonable.

2 words- food poisoning. We came here for dinner on our first night in Venice because of the great…read morereviews. The staff was so kind and helpful! We sat indoors which felt so nice with the AC! The food and drinks were okay taste-wise. I would give the taste a 6.5 out of 10. Good yet not tons of flavor. The food was good for filling our tummies in the moment but not good enough to return. The worst part - food poisoning. I had the calamari and boyyyyy was I sick afterwards. It turned our experience from "okay" to "ouchhhhh". Unfortunately, we will not be returning for more. :(

Was able to make a reservation for 3 somehow on some local platform (spouse) for 8 pm Sunday…read moreevening in June. Other walk in accommodated as much as possible. Arrived a bit early and seated at window seat inside immediately. The inside is cozy but adequate. The staff hustled and were very efficient and friendly. We ordered the seafood special based upon walking in and seeing a huge pan on fresh seafood on table and thus made it easy for me and the kid to decide. It was their house special at 35 euros per person (minimum 2). Included lobster and a bunch of shrimp, clams, mussels, and calamari in a red broth. Also two large scallops. Takes at least 30 minutes to prep so need the appetizers to get you by. The also close out the special by tossing in pasta after your done with the seafood into the remaining broth. Full disclosure it's a mess to eat. Must use hands. The cover you with s bib. It was delicious. The spouse does not like briny seafood so she didn't eat much but more than enough for 3 (except not for the scallops and lobster portion). We started with a few appetizers. Spouse had the lasagna. It looked good and home made but again I ignored it due to the mountain in front of me. A few drinks and bottle of water. I wish the pasta was available before the end but understand they want to toss it into your pan of sauce. I had originally asked to order a pasta to complement but they said it came with a pasta after ( so I agreed ). Obviously we are tourist so I can't take extra home of which would have been plenty. Total cost about 143 euros. (No additional taxes or tip). Credit card available but we needed to roll home to hotel so left 150 cash on table.
