Plenty of choices on the menu and the food is good. You can spend a little (pizza or pasta or simple appetizers) or a lot (we had the salt baked sea bass and it was outstanding but expensive!) Service was extremely good, and the staff has fun with their work. Bonus - we stayed at the hotel next door (Hotel Mercurio) so finding Anonimo was great fortune - we ate here twice and do not regret it! read more

Run of the mill food for tourists. I got corralled by the tout outside the door. Hunger will sometimes even get the better of fussy me when making a restaurant decision. Tight quarters inside. Little elbow room. Decorated well enough. Service folks are nice. Wi Fi is fast. The lunch prix fixe menu is a good value. A la carte meal of 3 courses can climb into expensive range. Portion sizes are sort'a small (a rarity in Venice). Deliciousness score = B-. My wife liked the mixed seafood plate. My meager veal scallopini with lemon sauce was fairly awful. But, Extra credit for complimentary Aperol spritzer before meal & small limoncello after. You can do worse by eating this close to San Marcos square. But you probably can find a tastier meal for less money in the neighborhood. read more

I found this place on Yelp. I'm so glad we stopped for dinner here. This was the best meal we've had since being in Italy! I had the ravioli with duck and truffles, it was amazing!! This has the most amazing seafood risotto my husband and I have ever had, and we have traveled a lot and had a lot of good food in our time. The service tailors to American pace, which we were surprised by. We actually wanted things to go slower. You know it's good when all the gondoliers stop in for lunch before their shift starts. The servers are great at this restaurant and the food is divine. Every bite was savored. We will go back! read more

A beautiful spot! Super close to our hotel and the food was delicious! I got the smoked salmon gnocchi, and the mussels zappa, both absolutely blew my mind! Our server Armando was so kind. I speak very little Italian and he gave us great wine and drink recommendations. Venice was one of our last stops in Italy and this was some of the best pasta i've had in the whole 10 days we were here! highly highly recommend!! read more

"Eh, it's okay" is not good enough feedback to recommend this eatery in Venice. Service was good, and I appreciated the welcome Prosecco and lemon cello. But the food was just ok. It started with cold bread. Nothing special. We tried two different types of ravioli and the lasagna. Garlic overwhelmed my seafood ravioli. The lasagna was acceptable, just lacked the tomato and Italian seasonings to make the lasagna mouth watering. There are plenty of other choices in Venice besides here. read more

Excellent spot next to our Hotel, literally next door to our hotel lol. Decided to stop in for lunch/dinner after the hustle and bustle from Florence to Venice, wow was that exhausting & was kindly greeted by Tio outside after we got settled in and received complimentary drinks on the house which was nice. My sister and I ordered a Lasagna, seafood Pasta, the last pizza on the menu idk what the name is but it was the last one that cost the most which in my opinion was nothing because it was FANTASTIC! You will see it I'm sure if not show them the picture I added to this post and they will direct you to it. The Lasagna was a 10/10 The seafood pasta was a 6/10 I had way better seafood pasta in Rome. It was lacking depth and salt! The amazing pizza which idk the name to was a 10/10 We also ordered a Tiramisu 10/10 And a Pana Cota which my sister said was amazing! I would definitely recommend this restaurant because the food was very good and the service was excellent! Enjoy! read more

We came here July 2017 and we were walking between the isles of Venezia and an older person stoped is to invite us to come in for dinner. We actually did came back and we were very happy to do so. The service and food was great. We had a three course meal and it was a great decision. We will definably come back here for our next vacation. Great over all read more

Totally incorrectly rated to be any more than 2 stars and a 2€. It's the most expensive and over rated restaurant. The food was standard. A salad bowl is nothing but chopped up salad. A regular dish is about €20 which should be less than €10. I should have known when we walked in and there was only one table with dinners and tons of service people. No doubt good service, they give you a glass of dessert (appetizer wine) but that barely worthy anything. No outdoor sitting, nothing special about the food and not worth the price. A small portion of linguine with clams cost €19 and that was the best deal and dish we got there. No where in Italy where they automatically add a 12% tips for themselves. Had to go something better and more tasty aster a $100 dinner that didn't fill and satisfy. read more

Edible, but we wouldn't return. Steak was very overcooked, pizza had extra greasy and rubbery cheese with a salty crust. The best part of the meal was the ravioli in lamb ragu, but its nothing to write home about. The lighting in the restaurant was also unusually bright for dinner. read more

Very Meh. The service was good. I will give it that. However, the lasagna was the smallest portion I have ever seen and the flavor was just meh. It was basically child size. The bass fish was completely overcooked and very bland. The duck ravioli was lumpy and the sauce was broken. Our pasta was dry. The only thing worth eating was the olive oil and bread. I wish we had just gone to the grocery store and bought these items instead. We would have been happier. This was a very disappointing and VERY expensive mistake of a meal. our favorite restaurant in Venice! the service was very friendly and food was awesome!!! and it's just below our hotel. we ordered the spaghetti with clams and the spaghetti with lobster and both were perfect! Best pasta we've ever had! loved the house wine too! out of the 3 nights we were in Venice we had dinner here twice! we had to come back for the lobster pasta! on our second dinner with them they remembered us and gave us a lot of freebies, free spritzer, free bruschetta for starters and free limoncello after dinner :) we will definitely go back to this restaurant when we return to Venice! read more

3 days on Venice, and we hadn't had a single great meal. We're leaving first thing in the morning, and wanted our last meal to make up for the others. We love the little out-of-the-way places, rather than the typical tourist traps. So, we wandered down the narrow streets and alley ways, looking for a place that matched our needs. We found it with Anonimo veneziano's! The minute we walked through the door, we were greeted by Oscar - a giant man, with an even larger personality. He instantly made us feel welcome. He moved around the restaurant like he owned the place. Within minutes, we had glasses of wine and free bruschetta in front of us (thanks to another waiter Christiano), and the two of them helped us decide what to order for our meals. We ordered a couple of fried seafood platters for appetizers, and hey were spectacular. I ordered spaghetti bolognese - and it was the best I've had in Italy. The rest of my party were equally happy with their meals, as were everyone else on the restaurant we spoke to. We were extremely happy we chose to go here, and our friends Oscar and Christiano helped make our last night in Italy a great one. read more
